- The dissolution of the Soviet Union was the process of internal disintegration within the Soviet Union (USSR) which resulted in the end of the countries and its federal government's existence as a sovereign state, thereby resulting in its constituent republics gaining full sovereignty on 26 December 1991.

Michael Gorbachev was visionary leader. He knew the condition of soviet at that time so he tried to bring the country out of that situation. He tried to pacify Cold War so that military expenditures get reduced for welfare of general public. I think these 14 countries should have kept patience at that time and should be stayed with USSR. Now they are like “Na ghar k naa ghat ke”
