Having seen the multitude of "longest roller coaster" videos, I thought I might try my hand at building an extremely long roller coaster for the world to see. However, I held myself to a standard: make it a ride that could possibly work in real life, and additionally: not kill people. It is worth noting that the ride was built for longest in terms of duration, not track length, and that is what it is longest at. Ride and enjoy my largest creation yet, Time Traveler!

I just made one that is over 4 hours long and 265535.22 ft, but it isn't nearly as exciting!
And I've added it to the description. Probably agree on the excitement bit, but it's still worth recognition!

if you want infinity time the coaster must go slow and after a few seconds, it should be stuck (forever).
This may not be the longest coaster anymore, but it definitely deserves the respect it needs. The fact that it's nearly 17 miles in length and it still has an excitement over 10 really says something about the coaster. It's amazing, man!
"Time Traveler looks too intense for me"
Watching this video gives me memories of when I’d play this game for hours after school. I remember not being particularly good at building coasters, but I’d let my imagination run wild and build coasters with theming and maybe even make up a story for why the coasters were designed how they were.

Dude, this is so awesome. It's cool how you managed to make this incredibly long, contorted track, while keeping a good excitement/intensity/nausea rating. There's something truly relaxing and satisfying about watching the coaster running in first person as it goes through the weird multicolored tracks and in between the other parts of this gigantic structure while soothing music plays. I also like how you color coded the sections after rainbow colors (except for indigo, of course).

Thanks! I definitely tried to keep the coaster interesting, but there's really only so much I can do. Part of the idea in making the coaster a rainbow was so that people could say "Alright I watched until the track turns Yellow, I can pick up there later"

after 10 minutes you start to get bored but i kept it up and just started talking in myself with a half eye on your coaster.

I have played Roller Coaster Tycoon 1 and 2, I own 3, but never really played it, because I thought it wasn’t cool enough to play, but my dude, you’ve made my interests in this one go up, thank you, in the first one, on the mobile version, I have made a great park, in Diamond Heights with just Wooden Roller Coasters and it was one of my favorite parks, til it got deleted, thanks man for helping me get back into this game, when I was a kid, like 7 - 9, I use to play this for hours, I’m 19 and I still play this game because on how great the games was and still is an amazing game, I believe you can beat the record again, take time, you got this, we all believe in you, and really love the music choices, it’s really relaxing and soothing to the brain, and I am more than halfway into the vid, take care man

Life has many twists and turns like this roller coaster but with this we can zoom out and look at the big picture and you know theres more calm parts and intense parts but in life you might be going through something rough and it feels like it won't ever end but you can remember that its like this roller coaster so 10/10 this has great spiritual value
I wish more real-world coasters could be like this since most of them are over in a minute or two, but physics won't allow it. Thanks for the work you put into this ride & the video.
I love how the time of the day changes as you ride it. It starts out in the afternoon, ends at dusk!

That's why there's a ton of block brakes. Turn block section on, have 2 trains, so that one launches from the last set of block brakes while the other starts from the station. Just reset testing flag each time I want to check for clearance, and with triple fast-forward, I never have to wait over a couple minutes. Also helps in checking to make sure the ride isn't too intense.

I watched up until 15 mins and thought that there are way too many brake blocks. Any costers I have built didn't have any until the very end at the station for max insanity and fun [also fo crazy speed]. I applaud your hard work and effort mate :-)
SwiftTelly20 || for short coasters like most of my others a 2 or 3 train system like you described is arguably the best way to go. Here there's that many because over the time of building, including them every couple minutes would add up to save a couple hours of testing. Plus, it allows for a much higher (theoretical) ridership.

Yep, after looking back on this, I really gave the helixes way more speed than they should have. Kinda deceptive when building for whatever reason.

Wolfsong || mainly by keeping it to moderate speeds for much of the ride, and avoiding excessive g-forces at all costs. As I would build a temporary end multiple times to check length, I can add that at the 15 minute ride length, the excitement rating was already above a 9.
