I did not know that there was a Pit a Pat dance practice video!! Thanks for suggesting it, Mary! Yeah, the girls really are blooming! It's amazing to see how much they've improved from their early years to today. This Cherry on Top era really shows their growing confidence and skill. It's very clear in this dance practice and the Wish Bus performance, as well as in their live performances. The attention to detail in the choreo is really fire!! It's the result of almost everyday training for the past 5 years. Can't wait for what's coming from BINI in the future!!!
I also just noticed, the Pit a Pat choreo incorporates traditional Filipino (particularly Ifugao) movements. Cool! And during Aiah's rap part, they were playing chinese garter!
It is not Chinese garter, but a variant of it. It is specifically called "10,20" where the players use the garter like a bamboo in "Tinikling" counting from 10 up to 100 (in multiples of 10) while doing different footworks for each step. Everytime a set is completed, the garter rises for next set/sequence. 😊
19:50 - I just noticed that they added some touches of Filipino ethnic dance steps from "Salidumay" of the Igorot tribe in the northern part of the Philippines.

I agree CC our girls are all blooming, entering the womanhood now and conquering the world of Music❤ Our Girls said that COT is the hardest since its 3x fast and they even wished to tone down the speed of the dance step but then their Dance coaches told them they should try first and then, they did a great job! COT is a bang, bang😅😊 And Jonathan Sison made the choreo, he's STEEZY Instructor and Filipino too I think😊 And finally, Pit a Pat😊 Where in Filipinos childhood games are the main highlights of the MV dance choreo❤
I actually love the message of Pit-A-Pat; it's about prioritizing their dreams and not needing boys. But yeah, I understand why they don't perform this anymore, it feels a bit too young for them now. But still a good message for young teens!
Watching these two dance practices in a row highlights how they have evolved especially with the camera work. I am still torn though which one I like better between a static and moving shot. Sure, the moving camera in COT is much creative and modern. But I kinda miss how well the static shot captures their synchronization and formation changes. In any case, our girls slayed in both as always.
It just happened that COT was done in a studio abroad so their is some camera works involved. But am sure they will still do it at a static mode if it was shot here locally.
They performed PitAPat live during Tugatog Music Fest 2022 unfortunately there’s some mic problem but they deliver the performance very well. If you want to watch or react on it better the Fancam rather than the official Tugatog Video
