I actually met Maurizio when he was alone in the Mountains....it was in Madonna di Campiglio during winter vacation a couple of years ago. He was very kind and relaxed, took a picture situazione him and had a small conversation on the season just ended (was 2015). People living there told me he has an house there in which he use to go, and you can meet him in the town or up in the mountains all alone. So it’s definetely true what he says. Great man, really. A true one.

I suspect Enzo would be vastly more unhappy with the team boss right now. Getting into Q3 and then scoring a point is a major achievement for Ferrari in 2020.

Arrivabene is great, much greater than I thought as he refuses to give interviews pre-race and is quite brief most of the time. But he's just a proper introvert, not rude, just introverted. Inside his mind are great things.

Man, this really was the golden age of post 2010s F1. Toto and Christian taking friendly shots at each other without being malicious, Ferrari having the coolest and greatest team principal since Jean Todt in the form or Maurizio Arrivabene and Claire keeping her dad's legacy alive no matter how dark the times. This is a real palate cleanser after the 2021 season. Makes you wish we could turn back time.
Kaltenborn was there for Sauber, another brilliant principal, Steiner wasn't a clown and a meme yet, but still a ********* towards Gutierrez, incompetent mister Abitaboul spiced things up at Renault. Szaufnauer at Force India, Eric Boullier at McLaren. Great times!

I really pity the man, because many ppl dont realise how stressful his job is. Among all the team managers, he has the biggest pressure on his shoulders, I hope he can cope with the sometimes unrealistic expectations set both by the Ferrari fans and from Sergio Marchionne. I am actually surprised he didnt snap mentally so far. Noone would take his job right now in my opinion
