Ive never bought the paint from stationary engine parts, as it is far to expensive. But if it is engine enamel paint, it needs time to dry for many weeks, as it doesn't have its petrol proof property's. But I baking it on, to some extent. So when I paint engines I make sure I don't spill oil or petrol on it, then give the engine a good run, letting it get really hot. Which hardens the paint.
I have Wolseley WD2 and I don't have a dip stick, would you mind giving me the measurements, off your Wolseley.
    Cheers
    Harry
