Appreciate the support on this series fam. We are going to do an alternate ending video and some cool stuff soon. We missed a few mini-games that we want to try and also a video with alternate choices.
at the surface, those mini games seems like random additions, like those were added just for additional random content but with the ending, those mini games makes sense, those are there to add bonding activities between the two players, adds ways for the players to bond over on top of the main story itself, it gives weight to the 1-v-1 at the end, it's parallel to the story really, the two players bonds like the characters, then have to fight each other in the end like the characters. what a really good game! great playthrough Brad.
What is this? Water from my eyes? IMPOSSIBLE! Seeing the cop funeral also boosts the the tears up too. But seriously the game really makes you cry after killing off an character you loved. Its like if Spartan 117 died to a grunt. You would really hate 343 for doing that.

Well i hate both the endings as nobody deserved to die. No child was destined to not have a living father. Vincent could have let Leo escape and then everything would be much more happier. I seriously feel very bad & sad.

The plot and everything. It was such a deep story about two men and one goal. These types of games can have a big impact on us. You grow such a connection between them and see them fall apart. A Way Out is truly the game to get 2018 and is something to remember.
So the game forces you to work together to kill your enemy BUT THEN It forces you to turn on eachother. BUT THEN you have grown a connection to the characters and now you're sad. BUT THEN What if you play with a friend or relative *top 10 anime plot twists* Edit: seeing what people are commenting made me think What's sadder? The fact that eather Leo or Vincent have to die Or the fact I have no-one to play this game with
To be fair, both sides are sad here. Vincent lost his brother and a fellow cop in the initial shooting when Leo handed the diamond over. And Leo lost a guy he thought was his trusted partner, not to mention that he had to go to jail over it. Both guys left behind a wife and a kid, and neither families deserve the loss of the dad. I do understand people who back Leo's side, but when a cop is undercover, he has to build a relationship and trust with the target. It's a part of police work, and yea, to the criminal, it's gonna be a huge betrayal in the end (if, like here, both guys bonded over the events).
The story doesn't make sense, period. Leo is in prison in the first place. They both break out and go on this crazy journey (killing several people) for what? So Vincent could mind fuck him? Thats a bit unnecessary.

Leo has not killed anyone in the game until the mexico scene. Like Dude, Leo was manipulated, used, and it was done by a guy who not only saved him dozens of times from dying, but one who he thought as a brother and told things he would never tell to some common comrade. Fucking Vincent is a criminal for all that back stabbing shit he did to him. If he actually loved Leo at all he would fake an escape and let Leo go. but he didn't care and showed himself as a guy who loved revenge over friendship.
I played this with a good friend of mine and we finished it in one day. I was Vincent and he was Leo and this ending shocked us both completely. The fight between the 2 characters was insane, my friend was a better shot (I lost) lol. We both agreed that this is the best co op game we have ever played and can’t wait to play again!
Some games are not just games but Emotions. And i know i am not the only one who gets emotional and at the end tears roll down...😢😢😢 Thanks Brad for making this series. It was a good time watching it. Thanks again.😢
but the graphics are a huge part of this game. like just looking at any individual scene you can tell how much time and effort it took to make such a visually astounding game.
Okay clearly you didn't read what I said right so I have to explain. I'm commending it for having a better ending and the shock of having to fight with someone you have been working with comes as a surprise but at the same time a fitting way and within reason vs a triple A game which has only endings where you don't feel any real accomplishment.
The endings to this game are both heartbreaking. However, for all those saying that Vincent deserved to die, nothing could be further from the truth. Vincent's job as an undercover cop demands that he cultivate a close relationship with the target. I believe the main reason why everyone is angry with Vincent is that the revelation of his true purpose was just as much of a surprise to the audience as it was to Leo. However, from a legal and, yes, even moral standpoint, Vincent is completely in the right. That being said, I do think that the Leo ending should be the canon ending to A Way Out. I believe it sets the scene perfectly for a sequel; perhaps with Leo and Vincent's children. They would grow up, learn about the story of their fathers, and somehow meet each other. The game could be centered upon distrust instead of trust, having both of the players make tough decisions without them being visible to the other player. Just a though.

I expected him to be a cop when he helped wreck like 50 police cars and left tons of them injured if not dead. Super realistic stuff. I'm sure they would have a big laugh about it later.
When I was playing this with my dad, and it got to the part where Vincent pulled the gun on Leo, I nearly screamed my head off. (I was Leo and my dad was Vincent btw) When we got to the part where we started shooting each other, I hated every part of it, and I convinced myself that there would be a happy ending, but I still tried my best, and ended up getting him down to lower health. When it came to the part where we were punching each other, I COMPLETELY LOST IT with the tears. And when it came down to who could get to the gun faster, I was scared out of my mind, but I still tried my best. I ended up getting to the gun first, but I'm pretty sure whoever has higher health can crawl faster. When I had the gun in my hand, I tried everything and looked everywhere, but I couldn't find a happy ending. So, my eyes being blurry with tears and absolute sadness, I finally zoomed in on him, and pulled the trigger. I hated every second of that scene (not in a bad way just in a sad way. This game is ridiculously good). When it showed Vincent giving Leo the letter, I didn't even know anything anymore except how sad this was. When all of the flash forwards happened, especially Leo giving carol the note, I felt like I was sadder than I have EVER been in my life. After that I had to cry myself to sleep until the pillow was soaked (kind of) with tears. Amazing game.👍 (not being sarcastic btw)

Randy Orton Crying? No to me I saw something like that before. I don't know where but Yes I did. Game was superb. I love the story of Harry Potter and when Harry meet Voldemort I was cried. When he killed Potter. But this story was quite interesting and too too too sad. The leo ending was good. Vincent cheat him and that was shocking.
You guys always used to say "make a game where you beat enemies with your friend as you level up, and the last enemy is your friend" Well guess what this is?!

This game was too good to have an ending like that. Damn I wasn't expecting that to happen. Even the other way around. Maybe if Vincent wasn't undercover it wouldn't of went that way. Just so unexpected.

This was honestly one of the best stories in a game that i have watched/played since The Last of Us, great characters that get you attached, great plot and background stories for each, very very happy with this game!

Hey, this game has so many easter-eggs with the 'Vincent or Leo way' and all, as well as all those cool mini-games and whatnot -- there has to be a way to get a secret ending compromise where like if you do all the mini-games Vincent just lets Leo escapes and tells the cops he got away or something.
This game was sooo well written. Forcing the two players to cooperate so closely the whole time and then having them go against each other was brilliant. Great Experience watching.
This was such a sad yet amazing plot twist. I didnt realllllly think that he was a cop but it felt suspicious that he always wanted to handle things the non-violent way, was able to keep very clam when things got heated, and was very reluctant to tell anything personal about himself. Just figured he was some religious guy who was naturally calm and didnt trust anyone about personal matters

I spent the past month watching this walkthrough ,And i finally made it to the ending .Wasnt what i was expecting .Such a great ending ,and a great game .Cheers to you man .great play through.
don’t forget the mom has to live in poverty with the child as a widow unlike Vincent who in his ending lives a loving happy life while the mom lives in a trailer and works 2 jobs and possibly sells her body to support the child did ya think of that
1. Either way, people suffer. There’s no “better ending” in this scenario. 2. The mom was also a criminal. She would find a way to make money. 3. They had the funds to get out of the country, so I don’t think your assumption is valid.
This one is sadder to be because Vincent died and he had a child on the way And he wrote that just for nothing he didn’t even to make up with his wife or be there for his child

Great game, really refreshing to see a game like this make it's way onto the scene amongst all of the early access survival games and recycled shooters. Only beef was with the dialogue. Seemed like a lot of agreeing or repeating what was already said, instead of using that time to elaborate on the character's story a little more.

Wow!!! I called it!!! We didn’t see Vincent’s cut scene when he explained his story but we got to see Leo’s. Especially as he explained how Harvey fxcked him over. I feel like Vincent got his comeuppance & he should’ve really let Leo go.

If he actually loved Leo at all he would fake an escape and let Leo go. but he didn't care and showed himself as a guy who loved revenge over friendship.

I played this with a good friend of mine and we finished it in one day. I was Vincent and he was Leo and this ending shocked us both completely. The fight between the 2 characters was insane, my friend was a better shot (I lost) lol. We both agreed that this is the best co op game we have ever played and can’t wait to play again!
Some games are not just games but Emotions. And i know i am not the only one who gets emotional and at the end tears roll down...😢😢😢

but the graphics are a huge part of this game. like just looking at any individual scene you can tell how much time and effort it took to make such a visually astounding game.

The real twist is that an indie game has more of an emotional and all around better ending than Far Cry 5 a triple A game.
Okay clearly you didn't read what I said right so I have to explain. I'm commending it for having a better ending and the shock of having to fight with someone you have been working with comes as a surprise but at the same time a fitting way and within reason vs a triple A game which has only endings where you don't feel any real accomplishment.
You know what the triple A game has graphics and gameplay that’s 10x more fun

The endings to this game are both heartbreaking. However, for all those saying that Vincent deserved to die, nothing could be further from the truth. Vincent's job as an undercover cop demands that he cultivate a close relationship with the target. I believe the main reason why everyone is angry with Vincent is that the revelation of his true purpose was just as much of a surprise to the audience as it was to Leo. However, from a legal and, yes, even moral standpoint, Vincent is completely in the right.
That being said, I do think that the Leo ending should be the canon ending to A Way Out. I believe it sets the scene perfectly for a sequel; perhaps with Leo and Vincent's children. They would grow up, learn about the story of their fathers, and somehow meet each other. The game could be centered upon distrust instead of trust, having both of the players make tough decisions without them being visible to the other player. Just a though.
vincent is a scumbag. Leo's family needs leo's more compared to vincent's family needing vincent. Leo's crime are also mostly just stealing, he never murdered anyone before he and vincent killed harvey goons in mexico, and he steals because he had a rough life since he was a kid with linda. Leo's ending is better. Leo got betrayed twice by someone who he considers a close friend twice. If leo got shot you can see leo's body is shaking more when he sits at the pole unlike vincent because not only he had to deal with bullet pain, but also a pain in his heart because he got shot by someone who he considers his closest friend twice. If vincent got the gun first, you can see leo sitting on his knees motionless, without trying to move yet vincent still shot him. If leo got the gun first you can see vincent still tried to take the gun from leo but tried to dodge once leo aim the gun at him, this is proof that vincent didn't really like leo. With vincent dead, his wife got his pension and vincents funeral got recognition and better tombstone unlike leo, if leos dead his family will not receive anything and they will be stuck in poverty and poor living condition. It also fits the title of the game. Vincent never intended to escape, he is just there an undercover to get detail about harvey so so he could kill him. While leo is the one that truly tried to escape. Also vincent doesn't really like leo and consider him a close friend unlike leo who truly consider him a close friend. in the vincent ending, you can see vincent never felt guilt about killing leo, he's just thinking about his wife. In the scene where he talks to his wife and enter the house, the screen fades to black and that's it, it was never shown that he felt guilt about killinhg leo. The music when vincent visits leo's wife to tell her leo is dead also felt grim, because linda lost someone dearest to her, she doesn't have any relatives and parent, same with leo. Also leo's family has always against the world and leo has stronger bond with his wife because they met since they were 12, not to mention leo's goal to get the diamond is so he can quit his criminal life and start over and so his family can get a better life since they are poor, while vincent and his wife is already rich enough. Leo's family needs leo more compared to vincent's family. In the leo's ending you can see multiple close up of leo's face feeling guilt and empty like when leo handed the letter to vincents wife and when he and his family drove away in a car before the screen fades away. As if there's a part of him that truly miss his time with his close friend vincent even though he got betrayed. You can see Leo truly cares about vincent when he gave advice to his friend to write the letter because he wants to save their marriage. Also the music when carol reads the letter is the same music when leo and vincent hold hand but a sadder and more soothing version of it, and the song doesn't felt grim like in the vincent ending. It tells you that carol and her child can do well without vincent, It's like the game told you u got the better ending. Not to mention. If you think about it vincent used leo to kill multiple people just so he could avenge his brother's death. And he had the audacity to betray him in the end and not let him go after everything they've done. Leo was hesitant at first to kill harvey but because of vincent, leo decided to help him. Vincent is also responsible for the crime he and leo's commited like robbing the gas station. Vincent is a scumbag. The only reason people prefer vincent ending is because they played as him in the game
Thr fact that there was no mention of Vincent by Harvey and he didn't reconize him when Vicent approached him kinda gave the ending way.

I didn't cry I just stared silently with a blank expression
When I was playing this with my dad, and it got to the part where Vincent pulled the gun on Leo, I nearly screamed my head off. (I was Leo and my dad was Vincent btw) When we got to the part where we started shooting each other, I hated every part of it, and I convinced myself that there would be a happy ending, but I still tried my best, and ended up getting him down to lower health. When it came to the part where we were punching each other, I COMPLETELY LOST IT with the tears. And when it came down to who could get to the gun faster, I was scared out of my mind, but I still tried my best. I ended up getting to the gun first, but I'm pretty sure whoever has higher health can crawl faster. When I had the gun in my hand, I tried everything and looked everywhere, but I couldn't find a happy ending. So, my eyes being blurry with tears and absolute sadness, I finally zoomed in on him, and pulled the trigger. I hated every second of that scene (not in a bad way just in a sad way. This game is ridiculously good). When it showed Vincent giving Leo the letter, I didn't even know anything anymore except how sad this was. When all of the flash forwards happened, especially Leo giving carol the note, I felt like I was sadder than I have EVER been in my life. After that I had to cry myself to sleep until the pillow was soaked (kind of) with tears.

Hey, this game has so many easter-eggs with the 'Vincent or Leo way' and all, as well as all those cool mini-games and whatnot -- there has to be a way to get a secret ending compromise where like if you do all the mini-games Vincent just lets Leo escapes and tells the cops he got away or something.
I have seen youtubers do all the video games on their play through, none of them got that ending you said they did.

This was such a sad yet amazing plot twist. I didnt realllllly think that he was a cop but it felt suspicious that he always wanted to handle things the non-violent way, was able to keep very clam when things got heated, and was very reluctant to tell anything personal about himself. Just figured he was some religious guy who was naturally calm and didnt trust anyone about personal matters

2. The mom was also a criminal. She would find a way to make money.

Great game, really refreshing to see a game like this make it's way onto the scene amongst all of the early access survival games and recycled shooters. Only beef was with the dialogue. Seemed like a lot of agreeing or repeating what was already said, instead of using that time to elaborate on the character's story a little more.
