The presentation described is classic for an aortic dissection. If we were to make the case for a MR in the context of a prior inferior wall or PDA IM the question should mention a 2-3 day delay since the onset of said MI I believe
Thanks for the content. Just a quick question, does the Step 1 no longer have actual heart sound questions (the ones where you need a headset to listen)? Trying to see if I should dedicate some time to memorizing the actual sounds. Seems like more of a Step 2 type of content.
Not sure if they've removed actual audio. Even if the Qs are still there (I'd imagine they are), I wouldn't recommend specifically listening to audio to practice. Just know what the murmurs are supposed to sound like, then you can infer answers.
