The He-11 H-16 recently got a cockpit overhaul and it kinda got me interested in playing it again in War Thunder. Have bombers improved at all?

when it comes to TBLF in bombers on the opposition you have a 50/50 chance of either losing your bases and having to deal with dog-fighting whales with multiple heavy armaments or having 3-4 of the enemy team not make it passed half way on the map.

I was also informed that apparently the crew compartment on the HE-111 was made by a player, I think that’s awesome and I’d love to see Gaijin do more things like the player cockpits!
Looking at the thumbnail, I just keep thinking that with access to Sir Chris, a bit with him doing a David Attenborough accent like a nature documentary would be awesome: "Here we see two baby aircraft clinging to their mother's tail. However, they are unaware of their own strength and soon... disaster."
I am curious what is the over-under on bomber damage models being addressed? Before or after we land on Mars.

You know it’s gonna be a good video when the crew flys bombers
Quick tip on putting out fires somewhat faster, just turn your engine off while keeping the throttle all the way up so that when you put out the fire you can just turn the engines back on and regain speed somewhat faster.
That opening sequence had every cell in my body screaming "phrasing"

its amazing, went into it accidentally once in the clouds as i was coming out and i stayed in cockpit view as much as i could for the rest of the match

Dude, your crew seems like so much fun to play with! I wish my crew was like that, we just take everything way too seriously.
I love that bombers are finally getting some recognition with the new cockpits and such. I hope they start to do some work on the damage models for them soon. I know they shouldn't suck up hundreds of 20mm, but they should at least stand a pass or two.

To be boring, the jump seat / TV dinner tray is for the commander of the aircraft, who (early WWII) had the jobs of navigator, radio direction aid operator (the locator beams for finding both the target and home airfield) and bomb-aimer.
In an early (1930s and start of WWII) British plane that would be the job of the 'Observer', but he was not usually the plane's commander.
Later the pilot was usually the commander in British planes, but the Germans maintained that pilot / commander separation.
