Guys I own the SE 1st gen since 2017... In 2019 I kept for a software update while charging, after that it never powered on but still the battery is charging and in good health . I can feel the phone becoming warm while charging even today but it won't power on. I took it for apple service they said its a mother board fault and don't waste money on replacing the motherboard as it would cost INR 9-10 K including service charges and suggested me to go for next gen models. So I got the iphone SE 2020 model now.
But after seeing this video, am having a little confidence that I can fix my old dead iphone SE because even today the battery is charging but it doesn't power on !
Has anyone experienced this problem just like me and fixed it back to working condition ?
Please let me know.! Because this iPhone SE 1st gen is my first Apple device and I don't want to dispose it. Am still keeping it in my cupboard as a memorable one and being the world's most compact smartphone during that time.
That is not motherboard fault.. May it is on recovery mode, black screen recovery, keep charge it in whole day night and next day try to connect it to PC, it will detect by iTunes,and do flash it... 100% fix your problem
Yah agree its fail to update the software bruhh its not the mother board u connect it on pc iTunes then reset it
connect to your pc/mac and open itunes it will show reset iphone but your data will be lost
