Unfortunately, our district disabled us from using Google Classroom. We are only allowed to use Canvas LMS

Awesome tutorials, do you mind if I ask which tech you use to make these in? I am making tutorials for teachers here at my school district and am using Canva for my screen recorder. I love all the screen splits that you do in your other videos.

As for creating lesson plans, I think Google Docs would be your best bet! You might find this video helpful:

I am wondering...with the Google Forms, before this update, was/is there a way that a form can be set up where you need to be signed into a specific domain account but the form does NOT collect this information (i.e. a school feedback form that is anonymous)?

What id REALLY love though is the ability to grade assignments on an iPad with the rubrics
I'd recommend submitting that request to Google... the Google EDU team does review submissions for requested features and takes them into consideration!
So are most of these updates only available to people with paid accounts?
Not at all! A majority are available on a personal Google account. The ones that are available for specific accounts were noted in the video and I included the screenshot of which account types it applies to.

Noooooooo the google image thing is the worst
I am constantly putting many images on my slides from files and now I have to put images off to the side off the slide and drag it over 😤😤😫😫😫

The new GIf/Picture button is driving me nuts. I have kids inserting pictures and Gifs over their work and not getting it done is Google slides. I'm not sure whose bright idea that was.
I can totally understand that! My students always found ways to insert them before that button even existed 😂 I'd suggest creating an extra slide on assignments where you allow students to insert 1-3 of their favorites that way it helps create boundaries and allows them to "get it out of their system" so to speak. Worth a try!
