I am SO excited for you. You are one of the first teacher vloggers I followed years ago when I started teaching. You got me through a lot of challenges. It makes me SO HAPPY to know you'll be teaching again!
I have high expectations for this year and hope all the teachers have a positive year, higher levels of reading and writing, supportive co-workers, kinder parents, and students that want to learn. I wish you the best.
The world needs more people like you and Billy. We are surrounded by so much uncertainty and negativity these days, but both of you bring so many people hope and joy. I love your fitness, teaching, pet mom, and couple's journey. Thanks for all your videos, tips, and kindness.
Congratulations Michelle! 🎉 I’m so excited for you!! The school is fortunate to have you. I will definitely be following you closely this summer as I am also teaching 4th grade Math and Science next year. After 16 years of teaching 5th grade, I felt a little change was needed to keep myself sharp. Still love 5th grade, but looking forward to my new adventures. I’m looking forward to watching your future videos.
Welcome to Texas teaching I am so excited you are back in the classroom and I'm so thankful Texas gets to have such a great teacher as you-from a fellow math/science Texas teacher
Congratulations on the new teaching position! I am so excited for you and that you are returning to the classroom! I would love for the video on setting up the teacher planner! I just got the iPad Pro and plan to go digital next year with your digital planner. I'll be looking for it. 😀❤
Congratulations!! I started watching your videos in 2017 and they were SO helpful!! I love that you’re using your products so we can really see how to apply them in teaching, it makes it so real and relatable. I can’t wait to see you thrive this year!! There will be ups and downs as you know. But When things get tough, don’t worry because you have a whole community of teachers supporting you and probably in the same boat. ❤🎉
I remember coming across your videos many years ago… now here I am, a first year special education teacher! 🎉 I am so excited for this journey for you!
I did realise how much I needed to hear/see this. I recently lost my teaching position so currently looking for jobs which is hard but this had really made me feel positive and to embrace the change that is coming my way
Hi Michelle I am so happy to hear you are going back into the classroom! I’m so excited for you! I used to watch your classroom vlogs will I was in high school now I’m a junior in college for a dual major in elementary education and special education with a ESL minor. Your videos make me so excited to finally get into my own classroom!
although i’m in the nursing field and nowhere near the education field; i am so proud of you! i’ve been watching you ever since you started your channel and i have loved seeing you grow. all those ups and downs has built you up to this point and it’s so amazing to see!! so excited for you to go back to the classroom!
Congrats Michelle!!! As a fellow returnee to teaching, I can definitely relate to many of the thoughts and feelings you’ve shared in these recent vlogs! Really looking forward to journeying along with you back into the classroom. Happy prepping!
Yay I taught 3rd this year and moving to 5th to a new school and from public to private so I'm nervous but I'm like you, just go with the flow! I'm so happy for you. What a blessing to get EXACTLY what you wanted! God knows what we need. Truly so happy for the kids in your class who will truly be blessed by your impact! Please share all preparation I need help lol!
Congratulations! I am so excited for you. I truly hope you are reminded of what you love about the profession, and your heart for raising up generations of children. And I'm excited for the rest of us....because even if it's haphazard in nature, we might be to see classroom/teaching vlogs again. And what a beautifully perfect kind of organic PD that is...when we share what we're doing and someone else goes "ooooo I love that....let me try that out."
Ahh congratulations! I've watched you on RUclips for many years (since 2017 at least) and I am so proud of you throughout your entire publicized teaching journey. So glad you found a role you can be so comfortable to excel in again!
Congratulations!! You're one of the first teachers I've watched on RUclips and missed it when you left. I'm looking forward to your teacher videos again.
I fully respect what you’re saying. But as someone who is in the same boat as you were years ago, I’d love if you could share your anxieties, the balance, tips and tricks to do so, thinks that make your life quicker and easier in the classroom, and your tips for dealing with stress and switching off
You got this! I retired in 2020, but after three years of retirement I went back into the classroom so I can relate to your excitement of going back into the classroom. Call me crazy, but I missed teaching. Hope you find joy. I did. I plan to re-retire in two more years. LOL
Can I just put it out there that a tiny bit of desk clutter is c o m p l e t e l y normal and my heart broke a tiny bit when you said “I should just be a better person” Your organization is a talent! But letting it go doesn’t make you bad! So excited for you and your journey back into the classroom. I love your resources and have started making some things of my own in your black and white style. I got lots of compliments this year on my data tracking spreadsheet that your class roster resources inspired!
Congratulations, Michelle!! I, too, just got hired to teach at a new school and we are also moving to a new city August 1st! My question for you is: when and who are you going to be asking these questions to? Will you wait until you have teacher work days and ask your team then? I feel I have a very supportive principal and superintendent at my new school! However, I don't want to keep bothering them about random questions that I have. On another note, I have just moved my 19 years of teaching life into my new room for the summer. When is an appropriate time to begin working on setting things up? I feel like my teacher pd days will be packed with mtgs and getting to know people at my new school. But I also know I like to have things neat and organized. Tia!
CONGRATULATIONS 🎉 I am so excited to see what this year's holds for you and your students!! My husband was looking at me crazy because I screamed like I had gotten the offer😂
Most of those questions are normally found in district handbooks or at Central Office; though, each campus does have some unique expectations. It's not a bad thing to ask questions, but I wouldn't go into a diatribe. If you're hired, that is normally dealt with during orientation.
I believe I know exactly that giddiness that you are feeling! I retired after teacher (mostly 3rd grade) for 25 years. I then came back to my same school to be a Title 1 paraprofessional for kindergarten within 6 months of my first retirement year. I hadn’t come up with the answer for what I wanted to try next after teaching and I really missed the atmosphere. After 4 years in that position, I started feeling discontent and had a strong desire to do more. Long story short, I was hired back into 3rd grade for the next 2 years since we have 2 large groups coming up that require another section. I feel like I get a second chance to do it all better than I ever did before and I couldn’t be more excited. This is what has led me to find your channel. I am soaking in every bit of helpful information that I can, and I find your content to be a goldmine of value! Here’s to the excitement of the return! Congratulations!
Congratulations Michelle! They are so lucky to have you as part of their team! I hope they watch your vlogs😁💕 they will get to know you like we, your subscribers, do! I’m so happy for you! As a fellow Texan and teacher, I’m really excited for you! Keep us posted on your journey! 🩷🩷 Blessings and congrats again. 🤗💕
This is so awesome! You were the first RUclipsr I started watching when I was starting teaching. Your videos have been so helpful and I’ll definitely be rewatching some of your videos about set up and organization. Congratulations!!
Congrats! I am always envious that other teachers don’t have to do multiple panel rounds, demo lessons, and superintendent interviews like we do. It adds so much extra stress.
I’m a first time teacher, 4th grade as well! I have all the nerves and excitement all at once! I come to your channel for all tips & tricks and any and all advice I can get, so thank you!!! Welcome back!
I am so excited that are paths are aligning so closely. When I finished college, about 4 years ago now, I was so excited to get into my first classroom. I had a great first year and then the second year went completely opposite. I lost my love and passion for teaching. I took last year off as I was going to be moving with my husband who is in the military. Now that we are finally settled, I decided to try teaching again! I feel like my school is such a great school so far and everyone seems so positive. Although I will be teaching a new grade level in a new state with my not so confident subject area, I’m actually really excited for the challenge. I can’t wait to rediscover the loving of teaching with you!
How quickly you went from The Principal to My principal. 😊 Congrats!!! Just curious if this school is public because in the district I teach elementary teachers teach all subjects. How do you only teach 2 subjects?
Congratulations! 🎉 I just moved from Texas where I taught 5th grade math to NC. I have really enjoyed watching your videos. I feel like we've had some of the same experiences and emotions the past few years. I know you will rock it. That school and those kiddos are lucky to have you! ❤
Oh my gosh! I started watching your videos before I became a teacher! I'm so glad we'll be teaching the same grade next year! Bummer it's not Reading 😝
I am curious... will you be using Eureka? If so I am excited to see how you implement it. I am teaching 4th,5th,6th, and 6th grade accelerated and I am nervous. Congratulations Michelle. No matter what content you vlog, I am always engaged inside and outside the classroom. I am so excited for you no matter where life takes you. If you need any texas resources please reach out. Everything I have made has been inspired by you and I would love to give back in some way.
Good for you! I loved following you when you were teaching! So….. I am looking forward to seeing you approach teaching differently now- show teachers a healthy way to balance life and work. THAT is important. Not just eating right and working out. It’s important to not give your job too much of your life. Love your life hacks- so now you get everything done in school. We will be watching!! Good luck!
🎉Congratulations!!!! I was hoping for the 5th grade Reading and SS because that’s what I’m teaching so it would be great to See what you would do. BUT I am so happy to landed exactly where you should be!!!! ❤
I am SO excited for you. You are one of the first teacher vloggers I followed years ago when I started teaching. You got me through a lot of challenges. It makes me SO HAPPY to know you'll be teaching again!

So happy for you. Went from classroom to intervention then back to fourth grade out of necessity. Looking forward to all your great ideas.
As a fellow 4th grade teacher, I am so excited to see your teaching videos again. Congratulations on landing the job!

I am switching schools too. What about a video on things to do for a new school?

I'm a retired Texas teacher who grew up in ATX. Most of my career was 4th grade. It's the best! Congratulations!
