The way he played for the penguins in that year playoffs was just amazing. He scored series' winning goals against devils, bruins. He almost single-handedly killed the rangers and if thats not enough he also scored the game tying goal (56th min)in the first game of the finals against the blackhawks (the one above). The penguins would have never won that year without Jagr. Lemieux was injured and out of the game for most of the playoffs. Now remember that all you folks who boo him today.
If Jags comes back to Pittsburgh, I'll be there to welcome him back. Having his experience and skill in the lineup would be a great addition to the younger team we have now.
Everyones says Jagr did nothing for the caps yet he led the team is scoring each year he was there. Its not his fault the rest of the team stunk on ice. One player cannot win a stanley cup, ok maybe Mario.lol.
I never booed him and I never stopped liking him, but I can understand why some Pens fans booed Jagr. He didn't leave on the best terms. For Rangers fans to question that is ridiculous considering the boos that rain down on Crosby every time he touches the puck in MSG. Crosby has never done anything other than play against the Rangers and be good, if somewhat immature. On those grounds alone, Pens fans have a right to boo Jagr. Throw in the history, and Rags fans have no room to talk.
Apparently, this and the numerous other goals Jagr scored like this during his career outside of the Finals, wasn't enough for Michael Farber to put Jagr on his list of the top-ten most-exciting players of all time. Lemieux only made number ten. Alexander "Mr. October" Ovechkin made number three based on a few good regular seasons and one good playoff series in the conference semifinals. Whatever. When will the hype backlash come against Ovechkin?
some team out there needs to bring back the air siren. the last team to have it were the avs but they since changed to a game show buzzer which is about as lame as their new uniforms.

Rangers fans booing Crosby at MSG hate him because he is shoved down their throats by the media. Oh, and most exciting doesn't necessarily mean better. Ovechkin is far more exciting than anyone in the game, but that doesn't make him the best current player.
oh i know, i'd hate to see him bring his attitude which really turned me off of him when i was younger. but hey, he's talented as long as he doesn't take the C from sid since he couldn't lead for crap.

Pretty sure I still liked Jagr as a Capital and Ranger. Only saw him in Mellon Arena once as a Ranger since I live over 18 hours away from Pittsburgh.
