I think that your starters are more reluctant to leave, just always ignore him all the time and don’t even push him or anger him because that kinda counts as raising affection? Not sure about that bit but I found it more effective to completely ignore them. Also yes there is a Rank S for Happy Home Academy, I guess you just gotta meet all the requirements (Basic bedroom stuff, no items on the floor, colours that match)
Actually even that wouldn't be effective, dataminers have shown that affection, or things like threating villagers poorly, doesn't affect at all their will to stay/to leave. The game randomly chooses who will want to leave, sadly there's no way to control it

I've had several villagers attempt to leave before him who had been on my island for a WEEK and engaged every day but HE JUST WON'T GO!!!
maybe it’s just me, but i notice if you keep talking to them so much but say nevermind instead everytime they get pretty annoyed and a few days later they almost always want to move out. maybe i just got lucky and it was just timing
@@abbraxas89 no, its a RNG im pretty sure, if you neglect them your just being a bad person,,, and if you complain to Isabelle about their clothes it just resets the clothes there wearing,, and if you complain tbe way they talk i think it resets their greeting/catchphrase. Theres nothing about neglecting them that makes them want to move out.
I was never a hardcore audie fan and I've already got my baby bluebear for my peppy, but I really love the personality and voice you gave audie. Makes me appreciate that stupid brain of hers alot more.
Word of advice. If you see a cloud bubble, there is a chance that the villager will want to move, of course. If you ignore the villager with the cloud bubble for the rest of the day, that cloud bubble will move to another villager the next day and so on and so forth until it lands on the villager you want to leave your island.
Buck was there at my island since the beginning too, but he wanted to move out, and Audie moved in. I made a sign that said, “Here Lies Buck” and put it in front of Audies house. I plan to make a graveyard dedicated to all the villagers that moved out. Once I get some Grave Stones.
You could have given Buck spoiled turnips. It drops their friendship level. This has more chances for him to have a thought bubble to ask you that they want to leave your island.

I was hoping to find Marina, or Judy like everyone else but I found Diana on my I think 61 NMT. Pietro camping right now crossing my fingers I convince him to move in and Mathilda the kangaroo moves out hahaha.
The reason he won’t leave is because you have to many friendship points with him. Hit him with a eat or push him around and ignore him, then if he gets a thought bubble, it will probably mean wanting to leave.
Etce, at 4:03 the second blue rose appeared through cloning! It’s a really effective way to get new hybrids identical to the original - just don’t plant them next to/directly diagonal from each other, water them, and they have a chance to clone!
To increase the chance of Buck wanting to leave, it’s best to ignore him completely. Basically never talk to him, while talking to everyone else but him. It’s still random who gets the thought bubble to move, but it helps wave your chances.

Buck probably has more friendship points than the rest of the villagers so he's less likely to want to leave, things that will reduce his friendship is: gift him trash or weeds and hit him with a net or push him until he gets upset. That way his friendship will be less in relationship to the other villagers and he'll be more likely to want to move out.
Oh. Looks like he's haunting you now. Buck hired loads of ugly gorilla agents and made them all live in my island. Took me months to kick them out. After that, I moved in a villager so no more could move in.
Hey Etce! Just wanted to let you know there is any easy way of moving villagers out! However it requires time traveling (not sure what your stance is on that) but in case you want to try it, here is a guide! Step 1: Travel 15 days in advance Step 2: go into the game and check every villager, if the villager is inside there house they will not have a thought bubble. If none of them have a bubble, go ahead 1 day at a time and check. Step 3: if the villager that wants to move out is not Buck, tell them no and travel 15 more days and repeat the process. Hope this helps!
i know this might've been said already, but if you want to get rid of someone, hit them with a net until they're angry and then never talk with them again. keep talking to your other villagers and never talk to them. they'll get depressed and eventually want to leave, but since he was one of your firsts it will be tougher. you could also give them trash to drop your friendship level. good luck getting rid of buck and finding your dream villagers ^^ love your vids etce💕✨
Here's a tip for people wanting a specific villager to leave. Every day when you start up your game look for someone with a thought bubble. WAIT for auto save to kick in before talking to them. If they want to leave and it's not the villager you want to move out CLOSE WITHOUT SAVING, and restart the game. Ignore that villager for the entire day. What is happening is that after a villager leaves or you tell them to stay, there's a cooldown period before another villager will ask to move out (which I believe is 15 days), if you ignore the prompt the next day it will pass on to another villager. If you tell them to stay it resets the cooldown meaning you have to wait for it to pass. By using this method every day the moving prompt will be passed around and if you're lucky enough in a few days it'll land on the villager you want gone. This method works with or without TT. (Side note, it can land on the same villager twice in a row, remember this is all RNG so you're relying on luck and patience for the non TT'ers). Without TT it took me around 4-5 days before it landed on Tipper who I wanted to move out.
actually, if you want buck to leave, it comes down to a formula. people who created the game released it a few days ago and i think it’s on twitter. the formula tells you WHEN a villager is going to leave based on the number of villagers you have and the total friendship level of your island, however, the villager that gets picked to leave, is random. due to this, not talking or hitting the villagers you want to kick out, actually doesn’t help at all. in fact, your favorite villager might want to leave at some point. it’s also important to note that once this day comes and you talk to the villager that wants to move out (whether you agree to their petition or not), the number of days that you have to wait until a new villager thinks about moving out, resets to cero. but don’t worry, there’s a glitch to avoid that: when you talk to the villager who wants to move out, but you don’t wanna kick them out or restart the days until you get to choose, simply close the game and time skip to the next day. you’ll see that when you open the game, a new villager will want to move out. do this until the villager you want to kick out, wants to leave :) love your videos etce

You should shake all of your normal trees everyday to catch wasps so that when Flick comes to your island you'll have _a lot_ to sell him! Usually I make up to 400k bells!!
