Guys go to the trailer at stop the vid at 0:04 you can see Mecha Mecha Godzilla with a red glow underneath his neck and when he jumped on the aircraft carrier he sent a spark from his hand and when he roared he had the same very faint red lines underneath his neck.
My guess is it’s actually Mechagodzilla 2:20 possibly with the organ/brain of King Ghidorah. This modern day Godzilla doesn’t attack human settlements/ships for no reason. So im guessing kong and godzilla gonna team up go against Mechagodzilla
I don't see Toho letting their prize Godzilla lose, I just don't see it happening. I am pretty sure there was conditions before letting these 2 share the big screen together. 1 of those conditions Godzilla can get beat up through out of the movie, but when it's all said and done Godzilla will be standing. That's probably what Toho told Legendary and Warner Bros. Toho is running the show.
I have watched multiple reactions of the G vs K trailer and find it amusing how everyone is responding to it. Whether a group is Team Kong or Team Godzilla doesn't really matter because the writers will determine who is the victor. As for team Godzilla saying Kong doesn't have a chance, is like saying a man has no chance to win a battle against any animal on the earth. Humanity is the true alpha on the planet because we use our intellect to strategize our choices to survive. Godzilla, if anyone watched the original movies, is a villain at times and a anti hero other times. Kong is more intelligent than Godzilla, faster and younger possibly than Godzilla, can make weapons and strategize as well. Godzilla is a brute force that can analyze short term moves of an opponent shown in the movies. Lastly, the reptiles era of dominance on earth has ended and the age of the primates. Kong will win because of his intelligence and tool making ability...if Kong made himself a shield from Godzilla scales to reflect or absorb atomic breathe to go along with his axe...game over. Plus, mega Godzilla is in this movie as well.

Godzilla also somewhat displays emotions in terms of possible pity (Humans), understanding (Realizing Humans weren't a threat when Godzilla utilized his intimidation display + realizing they weren't a threat after Godzilla got healed thanks to Serizawa's sacrifice), symbiosis (Mothra), and hatred (Ghidorah). You also never mentioned on how Godzilla being older than Kong, if anything, is an advantage to Godzilla. Why? Godzilla is an ancient being at over 252 million years old. Godzilla has consistently fought Ghidorah (Either with Mothra and/or Rodan [Murals] or on his own [Mural Godzilla soloing Ghidorah that possibly ties into Godzilla defeating Ghidorah in ancient Antarctica]), has fought 2 MUTOs, has fought the MUTO Prime consistently, and fought Ghidorah in KOTM 3 times (Thousands of years later after my previous mention of Ghidorah). This gives Godzilla a boost in his intelligence factor via battle and combat experience + tactics. 2. Speed On land, speed is somewhat up in the air. While Kong will be more than capable of fully sprinting, Godzilla's sprint was still fast enough to blitz through Boston when going toe-to-toe with Ghidorah in their first respective blows. I will still give you the terrestrial mobility advantage though. 3. Dexterity Kong has an ability to utilize and craft weapons. That is an obvious advantage he has. However, Godzilla is somewhat dexterous himself. He was able to grabble a bridge and utilize his hands to grasp/restrain opponents in place. 4. Raw power You never mentioned that Godzilla would most likely be stronger pound for pound. Assuming he is heavier as well as combining his retaliation against larger opponents like the 141,000 ton Ghidorah, Godzilla takes that edge 5. Durability This is another feat that you skipped. Godzilla is insanely, insanely durable. He was capable of surviving - Punches from MUTO Prime; something that can manipulate tectonic plates - Being dropped from the stratosphere from a powered-up and amped Ghidorah - A direct point-blank hit from the Permian meteor that caused a literal mass extinction Godzilla overwhelmingly edges out in durability. This isn't even mentioning his regeneration if said fight was near a radiated source. 6. Special Abilities You also never mentioned on how Godzilla has... 1. Atomic Breath A radioactive and extreme-temperatured beam capable of completely melting + incinerating one of Ghidorah's heads as well as shooting Ghidorah (A 141,000 ton Titan) seemingly miles away and through building with the extreme force being dispersed. 2. Atomic Pulse A radioactive pulse that is more devastating that his Atomic Breath but can only be used once if his dorsal plates are injured Although Kong has his Battle Axe, specifically crafted to counter Godzilla's Atomic Breath, the trailer shows that Kong won't be able to deflect literally every single beam. There are at least a couple of moments in the Hong Kong fight that show Kong without his Battle Axe or having his Battle Axe stuck. If his Battle Axe is out of his grasp or he isn't fast enough to react, Godzilla's Atomic Breath would do pretty notably effective damage against Kong 7. Variety of weapons Godzilla has a wider variety of anatomical/biological weapons that he utilizes than Kong. Intelligence is a debatable topic. Kong is intelligent because he can craft and utilize weapons while also having a slight form of emotion contemplation. Godzilla, however, is intelligent enough to analyze opponent attack patterns while also effectively countering said attacks. The longer an opponent fights Godzilla, unless that opponent pulls a very unpredictable move (Like how Ghidorah bit down on the power station and became amped), Godzilla will analyze and pick up on opponent attacks. This isn't even mentioning that Godzilla is a 252 million year-old being that has consistent fighting experience. What Kong has over Godzilla - Stronger arms - Speed (Land) - Agility (Land) - More dexterous - Battle Axe Equal -Intelligence What Godzilla has over Kong - Larger - Stronger in raw power - Much more durable - Stronger legs - Special biological abilities - Wider variety and diversity of weapons - More compatible in a wider diversity of terrain If you ask me, Godzilla vs Kong (Land + Battle Axe) is a stalemate. At the end they have to join forces and fight Doomsday cause at the end we see Flash running by in the speed force crossing over these dimensions which is how Kong slips into the DC Dark Universe becoming Gorilla Grodd speaking amongst his powers. And both Kong n Godzilla have mom's named Mothra
I'm pretty excited for this movie. I love the 1962 film King Kong vs Godzilla and seeing these two fight a second time is very exciting. Also I'm glad to see mechagodzilla make a return as well and it would of been cool if we got to see mechanikong again but that's very unlikely.
I have never been so hyped for this in a long time and now this fight will be something to remember. I can't wait and I'm sorry Bunny but I am on team Godzilla on this.

The trailer did seem quite one sided to king kong but I'm guessing maybe the second trailer it shows godzilla messing up kong also if you pause around the time time the people run down the stairs you can see mechagodzilla
Sorry Bunny. But without that Zilla-fin axe, Kong no stand a chance. Kong gets hurt by napalm and helicopter blades. Godzilla shrugs off missile strikes, point blank tank shots to the gut, and nukes placed right in his face.
Actually plot twist that's not the Godzilla they know, that's another bad one that survived and it has friends destructive friends, but mid point the real Godzilla shows up and helps Kong. Then at the end we see Flash pass in the speed force crossing over these two realms dimensions alternative realities. Hope I don't get in trouble for writing this... anyway, I don't know the plot seems bizarre, I mean based on the trailer at the beginning, Godzilla becomes the villain of the movie for no reason, more or less towards the end of the trailer they give a short explanation, and that is between Kong and Godzilla it started a war. And what I think is "if they hadn't brought Kong to the city or anyway from what I saw in the sea in chains, would a war ever have started between KONG AND GODZILLA ???" for the rest I noticed that from the first K9ng film they did not shoot almost anything except the main character with the addition of a little girl with whom he has a relationship, then I don't know, and it seemed to me that the size of both had decreased , in any case the special effects are splendid, I know some of the actors, I think this film will not be a bomb but it will still be magnificent. I'm pretty excited for this movie. I love the 1962 film King Kong vs Godzilla and seeing these two fight a second time is very exciting. Also I'm glad to see mechagodzilla make a return as well and it would of been cool if we got to see mechanikong again but that's very unlikely.

I've never seen any of these movies, I have seen Godzilla but not king Kong, or the cross over between those two.. it does look cool.
anyway, I don't know the plot seems bizarre, I mean based on the trailer at the beginning, Godzilla becomes the villain of the movie for no reason, more or less towards the end of the trailer they give a short explanation, and that is between Kong and Godzilla it started a war.
And what I think is "if they hadn't brought Kong to the city or anyway from what I saw in the sea in chains, would a war ever have started between KONG AND GODZILLA ???"
for the rest I noticed that from the first K9ng film they did not shoot almost anything except the main character with the addition of a little girl with whom he has a relationship, then I don't know, and it seemed to me that the size of both had decreased , in any case the special effects are splendid, I know some of the actors, I think this film will not be a bomb but it will still be magnificent.
