No no no! You need to have the audio coming out of your speakers. Then, make sure it's not synced up. If your monitor is too low latency, add extra latency to your microphone to ENSURE the audio is at least 5 or so milliseconds out of sync. Also turn the game audio down, but make sure the TV/Speakers are good volume, so the delayed audio is actually louder than the normal game audio. (Source: I had to deal with this problem when recording old console games from a TV. But we added delay to make it echo LESS, not more :P )
