  • Come and explore the Creation Museum in Petersburg, Kentucky! We recently had a wonderful opportunity to visit this state-of-the-art museum with our 4 kids. It was a fascinating place, filled with so much to see and learn about! Watch and see just what this museum is all about as we share an overview and our experience there. As well check out all the stuff the museum has to offer, such as a 4D theater experience, a planetarium, botanical gardens, petting zoo, zip line, and more!! Whether you are planning a trip there or just curious, this video hopefully will give you some insight to this museum.

Thank you for this video. I found it while looking for information as our church is going next weekend for 2 days, one at the creation museum and the 2nd day at the Ark Encounter. I'm so excited like a child and I'm nearly 60. 😆 It's almost a 7 hour trip one way for us on the bus. Thanks again for the info.

I totally get being excited, I was excited to go there before we went as well. 😄 A seven hour trip one way, not too bad, it took us two days to get there, something like 14 hours. Trust you all will have a wonderful visit! Thank you for checking out the video. Have a blessed week. 💜

I would love to go back now that I have kids and visit the ark too! I love how much they were able to put into a single building! They did such a good job! • @walkswithholly4610

Yes! You certainly can visit both in one day -- and that is what we did. The Creation Museum from 9am - 1pm, then about a 45 minute drive to the Ark. We were at the Ark from about 2pm - 6pm (it closes 7pm). It very doable, but if you have the opportunity to split it up in to two days, then I suggested one per day. I wish we had a little more time at both, but we only had one day in that area. We were able to see mostly everything at both places, however I would have enjoyed about 1-2 hours more at each location. I hope that helps! Thanks so much for watching!!

It looks like a fun place to go, despite how far away it is from reality. Go there and enjoy it, but please don't take your kids to this pseudo-history centre and present the exhibitions as facts. I know you believe it and I respect that fully, and I admire that you can do so, as it must be very difficult. because the minute you question any part of the Bible with actual critical thought, it unravels.

I'm a Christian but I definitely personally don't like how they seem to frame certain things as facts like that the earth is 6000 years old, as far as I can see that's absolutely ridiculous and impossible and there is lot more proof that the earth is much older (of course no one can no for sure). I believe in evolution too, I think there is lots of proof for that, I don't know what this museums view is about evolution. The place looks cool but even as a Christian I think you should look at what they present critically.

Hi Emily 😊 Yes we did both the Creation Museum & Ark in the same day - however if you have time do them in two days (visit one place each day) then that is what I would recommend. I wish that when we went we had more time to split it like that. We spent 4 hours at each place - but I think 6 hours at each would have been better to do. You can still do it all in one day if that is all the time you have though. Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any more question! Happy travels when you come out to the USA! 💜

We hadn’t been to the museum in 9 years, and I was really floored at all the new exhibits. My kids were absolutely amazed with everything - the skeletons, the fossils, planetarium, and 4D theater. Humans at Gesher Benot Ya’aqov did not throw the fish directly on hot flames. Instead, they exposed them to temperatures between 390 and 930 degrees Fahrenheit. This suggests that they cooked the fish whole in some form of an earthen oven.

Why would that be bad news for creationists? I’m a devoted Christian. This is my faith and I adhere to it. I understand that much of the Bible is written in allegory and metaphors, which is how knowledge was passed down to younger generations 3,000 years ago. But I also know that the universe is about 13.7-14 billion years old and the earth is about 3.8-4.2 billion years old. ‘Creationist’ is not a bad word. Perhaps your beef is with young earth creationists. If that’s the case, maybe you should specify. Not all Christians are young earth creationists.

Hello, I believe you words were:
"Experience earth's history as god has revealed it in the bible"
There are some problems with that as in a god has never been proven and no one knows who wrote the collection of documents that we no longer have which 'claims' the god and this much copied flood story.
We have no originals just fragments of copied of copies and we don't know who wrote any of it.
I would not put that book "that just says a thing" up against actual science.
No science, and by that I mean peer reviewed science, backs up the claims of the flood, people living with dinosaurs and a young earth.
Now that said if people want to believe in a magical sky wizard because they are afraid to die then that is fine but young children should be taught the actual truth which is science or they will grow up being laughed at when they say that people live with vegetarian dinosaurs because that is not correct.
Sure wait until they are older and have critical thinking skills before telling them that the T-Rex ate coconuts!
Keep well and keep researching the facts that we can prove.
    Best Gray

Of course children should visit fantastic natural history museums, science centres and all these wonderful places but places like this have educational value also. I'm not someone who takes genesis as word for word historical events but I respect people who do, I'm also not convinced that we have an unshakable scientific explanation of where we came from either as almost everything the greatest scientific minds believe as unquestionable fact turn out to way off the mark or outright wrong in the next centuries. I find often that the people who dismiss beliefs that Christians, Jews and Muslims hold as being uneducated or even harmful also are quite often people that hold the most bizarre modern beliefs about many aspects of modern life where they can look you in the eye and try convince you that 2+2=5 and men can get pregnant ect... Ima say on here what I commented to someone else....
Believe what you want but why ppl in anti-theists and atheists groups always gotta act so arrogant toward other ppl with different beliefs? If ya don't believe then why care about what others believe as long as they don't force you to think the same way?
Like it or not there are many ppl who believe in God and believe in the bible.
No one asked if you agreed with Creationism or not. All she did was show ppl about a museum and ya just can't help but try to put others down for disagreeing with you.
If ya never even actually tried to look into the other side of the argument here how can you be so sure? I've heard arguments from.both sides of the isle and Darwinism doesn't make sense for the most part. Richard Dawkins tried to claim that something can be made from nothing......No sir it can't, it needs a Creator.
Btw, It's because of God science exists and it's because of him that scientists became a thing. Don't believe me? Look up the history of the very first scientists...guess what? They were Christians.
Universities was also started by Christians.... "Person of interest" by J Wallace is a good start to get some actual facts from.
Science may not prove that God exists for some of you but it doesn't prove that he doesn't exist.
Both sides have unanswered questions and both don't know everything.........monkeys are still monkeys.
Keep proving Jesus Christ right though ...he said that his followers will be hated because of his name. People like you prove him to be right everyday.
Seriously ya got triggered over a tour of a museum....
Again if ya don't want to believe its your choice and God gave you free will but ya don't have to be so snooty.
Prayers for you that someday you'll see that God is real and that also he does love you too.
I Corinthians 1: 18"For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. 19For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. 20Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 21For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe."
John 3 15"That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God."
End time prophecies which are in the bible (like II Timothy 3 and 4 for example) is happening right now and the 7 yr tribulation will take place. Things will be much harder during that time. Don't wait till its too late.

I agree that new atheists use an extremely harsh language towards believers. But what most people disagree is actually not the existence of god but scientific issues like a few thousand year old earth, no animal death before the fall, bible meeting every single scientific curiousity of ours yet contradicting scientific data all the time. So why mix atheism with scientism and why interpret the bible so literally even though it is simply a book to guide people to walk with god, not a biology textbook?

Im actually terrified that if you believe this stuff (contrary to ALL the evidence against it) what else you might just be gullible enough to believe 😬 (and teaching these kids to believe)... You know you can still have your personal freedoms and have your faith, but not just dismiss actual real history and facts?

I know you’re looking for an argument, but you’re not going to get that from me. yes, you and I do not share the same beliefs and I disagree with what you wrote about this being utter nonsense. This is all based off of truth, The truth of God‘s word. I’m sorry you don’t believe in God‘s word the Bible, what do you possibly have hope in then for when this world comes to an end, or your life ends.

@@walkswithholly4610 This is the part that is very confusing to me, and I’m not trying to start something I’m genuinely curious of your response. If this life is minuscule, compared to eternal salvation and paradise up in heaven; what do religious people waste their time here, surrounded by sin and corruption. Since all that is required is to except it, Jesus is God’s son and believe that he died for our sins, shouldn’t you be excited for death? I mean I’m not saying that religious people should commit suicide, but shouldn’t they have the mindset, after they are saved, to do risky and dangerous activities that make death more likely? Shouldn’t they celebrate cancer diagnosis since this life is temporary?

Gosh this looks AMAZING!!! I for sure will be planning a trip here when my kids are a little older! That is the beauty of homeschooling too-the freedom to do stuff like this for "class"! :)
