I sure enjoy your historical videos of the Burke Canyon. Lots of amazing history there and I'm so glad someone is keeping it alive. Keep up the wonderful work.

Thank you ... this is important work. I discovered Jerry Lee Lewis on a jukebox in Wallace Idaho.

"There are alot of people here in the Silver Valley who don't know anything" . . . LOL!!! That cracked me up! (They know the important things ;) )

At 9:59 there's a picture of the mill. On the left side of the picture is a small building up the mountain in the gulch. What was that building used for? The wood foundation is still there

Tom Taylor I am not really sure what this is. I will ask Butch (director of Mullan Museum) he might know. The buildings right below and a little to the right was the filter building and there was a settling tank inside. I wonder if it was used for a large pump. The gulch still runs water and there is a large piece of wooden water pipe that can still be seen coming down from that location. The EPA dozed that area (some of the pipe can be seen at the 13:00 mark in the video. Sorry to say I just don't know.

I've been surfing YT for some history of Wallace and Mullan since we'll be driving thru there for Christmas.
Your videos are fabulous! I've loved scrambling over old mining sites here in Colorado and learning the history here so appreciate the effort and quality of your productions about an area I'll think about as we drive by. You have rescued RUclips from endless cat videos with this high value kind of contribution.

+BNCantenna This is the best and nicest comment I ever have received, thank you. I also got my love for the history of mining and ghost towns growing up in Colorado. I lived in Loveland (born and raised) for 25 years. My dad had some claims up near Blackhawk and most of my summers were spent around the gold fields there. Hope you enjoy your trip through Wallace and have a great Christmas. There is another video coming out in a few days (Dec 18-20 2015) but it will be an unlisted one as I am just doing some things with old footage that has been seen before. It will show up on my channel but there will not be any notifications from YT.
Thanks again for your kind words.

I really enjoyed this video. You do such a great job with your editing and narration. The history lesson was cool. Looking forward to watching more of this series. Thanks!

Ted, another masterpiece! I wish I could narrate as well as you! What a great video answering the questions about something that is "just there" outside your mining town. I, like indyme2, learn so much from your videos. Keep the series flowing (even though it involves a tremendous amount of work!) Dave.

I hope they leave Burke the way it is. I know they say they do it for pollution but they just get rid of all the amazing history
