Would appreciate a quick breakdown of the numbers, regarding cost of property, cost of materials/labour etc. other than that, a great video as always. Lekker manne! 💪
Yes, please! It’s so hard to plan for renovations in SA because all the info out there is within the UK /US context. Please share what you’re comfortable with in ZAR🙏 🇿🇦
this is amazing. I cant wait to see the new property reno. Your videos are so relatable because i live in PTA and we often see these houses listed but we overlook them because they are a bit dated. Awesome new perspective boet, kudos
Awsome transformation like allways guys👌...I would like some more information with reguards to the floor and tile finishes as well as application if posible...I really enjoy the DIYs and tips as I'm no building guru but I'm willing to learn...I have bought my first stay in property that needs some TLC and have found a lot of inspiration from your channel...Much Appreciated...
Wow beautiful, breaking down the outside wall do you have to get council approval? If yes how long does it take and what is require that to convert the window to a sliding door?
The thing that puts me off with the Mixx cement in the bathroom is that it looks like you now have an uneven finish where the tiles are and the wall without tiles begin halfway up
Fair enough, its not a finish everyone likes, that is however the look of the product and we find it quitte polarising. Some people love it and others don't at all.
The final results looks great and absolutely achievable .The one problem is getting crafts people that are skilled yet affordable enough to do a decent quality job.If the quality of the workmanship is poor the results also presents poorly
On video and photos everything looks good. I doubt in real time...its will look Great. Who paints cupboards...the end result will just not last. Its cheapish

Love what you’ve done here, the home is definitely looking more modern and upmarket by introducing shades of grey and black, and tossing the dated carpets and cupboards. That cement / concrete finish on the floors looks very high end. As much as I love it on the floors, I’m not so sure it works in the bathrooms …. The ‘ledge’ that the existing tiles created takes away from the look. I understand you were on a budget, but perhaps removing the wall tiles would’ve been a better option. I would also have painted that knotty pine ceiling white. Leaving it varnished dates the home, and the warm wood hues do not compliment the cool greys that you have incorporated. The outside turned out beautifully and the pergola has changed the look from frumpy to exciting and inviting.
Yes, the ledge is because we went overtile and that is because of the budget constraints of this project. Also, the ceiling is meranti and dark browns are actually back in fashion and quitte trendy as far as international design trends go.
As somone with strong interest in this sector, it would be an honor to be mentored by someone as brilliant as you. Awsone work to you and your team brother.
amazing transformation, just that wooden ceiling, seemed very anti climatic compared to everything else in the house. exposed beam ceiling would have topped this property off so well other than that. brilliant stuff
In person it really warms up the space. To open up a ceiling and expose beams is quitte tricky and expensive. The reason is that all wires etc are then exposed and need to be hidden. Also, the ceiling is meranti and dark browns are actually back in fashion and quitte trendy as far as international design trends go.
What paint did you use for your door/window frames and also what product did you use to fill the grout lines of the tiles in the bathroom? Looks fresh!!!!
Looks stunning! On estimate what did this whole project cost? And were any of these changes required to be updated on the building plans and require approval etc?
We can do the construction if it is in Pta. We do it a little bit differently from how most other builders work. We do a consultation(for which we charge a fee) where we give ideas on design and practicality of the design and construction. Thereafter we do a quotation, which if you go ahead with, we then credit the cost to the total of the quotation. Reach out if you are interested. 084 487 9151.
No, most areas in Pta East only have burglar-proofing over open-able windows and not solid ones. I always also advise people to do alarm with beams around the outside as you don't want to know when someone is fiddling at the window. You rather want to know when they enter your stand and are still far away from the house.
I am looking at returning to South Africa and I would be very interested in obtaining your services for renovation work. I have no fixed plans for where I will live, I am very open to any location. I like Durban, Pretoria or the Garden Route.
Pta beats them all. Durban have quitte a lot of political issues and the garden route is nice but lots of winter rain and tough weather and work is not that available(and the same for projects).
Greetings brothers, I love you so much. It's so inspiring to see the excellence in what you do with professionalism. I love you so much my project director and I want Jesus Christ to raise you from that chair my dear brother. Please believe him, He created all things. Jesus is God. Please check what Jesus is doing in the deliverance Ministry in Midrand at Charis church or The Kakande ministries my brother. I love you guys
Kitchen looks super bad.... you get away with super cheap reno coverups. I watch all your video's... I am actually shocked you get people who buy these houses with painted windows and cupboards. In CT its impossible....
Nicely done🎉. Congrats on the reno. The kitchen and the flooring was an impressive flip though I do agree with @andreolivier9208 about the arch. Otherwise, a job well executed especially the garden space. Please do a cost breakdown on either this property or the next one. Thanks.

Exquisite project....
Please take a bow!
Coming up soon
Thank you for being more consistent than Flipping Johannesburg before Flipping Johannesburg even came on the scene!
this is amazing. I cant wait to see the new property reno. Your videos are so relatable because i live in PTA and we often see these houses listed but we overlook them because they are a bit dated. Awesome new perspective boet, kudos
Everything looks lovely. The wooden ceiling takes up a lot of light besides that, the house has been successfully modernized.
In person it really warms up the space.
Would to know more about the cement product that was used over the tiles in the bathroom
Mixx Cement - you can reach out to the distributer in Pta at 0129428619 - Tell them Bigpond sent you.

Well done. Beautiful property

Wow amazing stuff and such great advice.
This is very great tricks, I will sure use this, usefull
Great work brother - thank you.
This looks amazing. Well done!
Are you able to get a customized sliding door??If the standard size sliding door cost less, would it not be better to use that??
It probably would be cheaper to do a custom door to fit your opening rather than doing building work to resize your opening.
Hi , Whats the paint colour you used outside . Also which brand if paint pls.
Spring Tide from Micatex

Very insightful, I love the kitchen what did you use for the counter tops ?
It is a granite known as White Flower
Very good, just a wee thought. Why don’t you get your team wearing all big pond overalls and T-shirts.That would look super cool …
We have done that multipkle times before but overalls get wrecked within 2 or 3 months.
What paint did you use for your door/window frames and also what product did you use to fill the grout lines of the tiles in the bathroom? Looks fresh!!!!
We use either Duram Enamel and Trim or DURAM NS4 METAL PRIMER & PAINT for trim and windows. The frout lines are filled with the same Mixx Product.
What product did you use on the floor? Thx
Mixx Cement
As the kitchen cabinets are all in good condition would you consider wrapping them instead of replacement?
Wrap is more expensive in most cases.
This Is amazing work is the property listed ?
Already sold sorry
Thank you!
Beautiful work 👌

Does someone know if there is a group to connect to with like minded people/projects?
We are working on a mastermind type group for people who have purchased our flipping course.
Well done
Do you only flip or do you renovate for others?
We do selectively take on renovation projects for others in Pretoria East.
It is very difficult to see wich you tube is the carry on it would be nice if you can give a name and say part 1 part 2 part 3
Thank yoy
Can you please give a link to the product that is used on the tiles
Mixx Cement
Am I the only one worried about the windows? Like why is there no butler proofing the middle section of the windows? That's a weakness😭

This guy is making a big mistake by ignoring answering questions. We are his audience and he isnt trying to interact with his audience
We are running a YT channel to add value to others. We also run a business full time.

Are these all Zim or Malawi workers? Do they have work visas as that labour cost for SA workers is not cheap.
All our labourers/contractors are skilled and we pay a fair wage(above market prices). Most are Zimbabwean but legally staying and working in SA.
