I like to hear this message a few times a year. John Paton - my favourite missionary story and I recommend the letters of Margaret Paton as well. Written by his wife as she worked with him on Aniwa.
I had never heard of him until today!
Your right he was a good missionary.
His story always brings tears to my eyes and renewed love for souls into my heart, what a life! What a hunger! What persevering faith this man had... there's no doubt he knew the Lord Jesus Christ.
You are right he is a great missionary
