This is video 3 of the trip. Camping at Dewayne Hayes Campground near Columbus, MS. We went camping, boating, fishing, and tubing on the Tennises-Tom Waterway.

I have going over to this area around Columbus before there was a Dewayne Hayes Campground. In the mid 1970's friends that lived around Columbus would come here and have parties near the old big antebellum house on the road to Dewayne Hayes. The house has been restored and is very pretty now. Back in the 70's the house had not been painted in years. It was boarded up and in need of repairs. It looked as if had not been lived in for years, some said it was haunted. The house was on a dirt road that was not traveled very much. At night it was one of the local lovers lane areas around Columbus. In the early 1990's I carried my family to the camping area for birthday parties, fishing & boating on the waterway. It is a great place to take family on a weekend..
