    How about putting in an Iveco 3 liter diesel in it.

      Could do but i don’t know if that’s much of an upgrade over the current lump

      @@Automotiveolie I meant the 3.0 liter v16 diesel engine. >150 hp.
      A friend has put one in his Defender.

      @Automotiveolie you will have to make a part to join the bellhouse to the transferbox. And off course the engine mounts are different.
      Electronicly you will have some challenges. I suggest that part needs some more research on your end. Mechanicly I'm sure you will manage 😀
