I heard this song for the first time on a British Airways flight from Heathrow to Johannesburg in November 2013, I think, on my way to my brother's funeral. I cried most of that journey, then I stumbled on this track. It picked me up. That guitar. The tone. "thats all we have in this life" etc. I do not know anything about country music, but this song brings tears to my eyes right now.
