Japan team is not just young, but also brave and fearless, this could be a new opportunity for the future Japan team. But there are a lot of powerful teams waiting, they still need to figure out how to face them.
They will be in trouble in blocking the much taller teams.
PHI could be one of the powerhouse of WVT too if only there's no politics in LVPI(Sport Commision).
Japan is not the best member.

Japan's A team has better floor defense, but the B team has more hard hitters and has better net defense
I agree! When Saori and squad departed, they lost lethal attackers. But now, the future looks bright for Nippon❤

yamada is a massive wall, a great blocker.
I love Thatdao , but she still needs to improve her blocking techniques. I find Thailand has the poorest blocking techniques out of the 4 top Asian teams. Hattaya is actually a better blocker than her. They have the young promising Tichakorn, but she is on the bench and saw very limited court time during this tournament.
They put Wanitchaya sometimes for middle blocker instead of Thadao in this tournament. Although both Wanitchaya and Tichakorn are usually at the side bench. I wish Hattaya would come back!!!! She not doing so well with her knees injury. Thatdao is Thailand main after Plumjit, but I felt like she still doesn't recover from her injury.
@@moopybobsayhi6480 That's not good to hear about Hattaya. Hope she recovers well. I used to not like Watchareeya, but she has been improving both in attacking and blocking. It would be better if she was just a bit taller too. Tichakorn should have been used more, especially in this tournament. She is young and she needs all the experience she can get before Pleumjit retires.The biggest let down is probably Chitaporn. She is tall, but slow and not very good both at blocking or attacking. Thailand needs more young, tall and talented MB now more than ever.

Japan was fearless in this game ! They're on 🔥 dahlings ! This is what japanese volleyball really is ! I'm so glad they won this championship because they really deserve it ! Hands down for all of them.

@@treblan1 Thailand has alot of retiring players. Their biggest loss will be Nootsara and she will be hard to replace together with Pleumjit, Wilavan and Onuma.

These japanese girls remind me the powerful senior team before. Saori kimura, Araki, Ai Otomo, Saori Sakoda, Ebata, Mai Yamaguchi, Takashita and Nakamichi

@@nicokachico9391 i think because the head coach was replaced and saori retired, they are not 'in love' with national team anymore. They are very close right.

This coach was the long time coach of Japan National Volleyball Team(Senior) before being replaced by a new woman coach Kumi Nakada . He must be a good coach cuz his system worked very well on Japan Juniors when they defeated the Thailand's Seniors in this game. This middle blockers must say was much more better and effective than the ones Kumi Nakada had in her senior team.
I think coach Masayoshi Manabe was the former coach of seniors team not coach Noburu before Kumi. I don't know I might be crazy. Lol

I love this match..thailand have a great middle blocker but the spiker keep being blocked all the time...i dont know why .i keep replaying when thatdao spikes..its on point n outstanding..nootsara n thatdao is a good combination i think..
