For those also not in the know, the ko kit comes in 2 options. RS and MX. Rs is a faster motor aimed for road use. MX is a lower speed higher torque motor for motocross and trails. Top speed on MX is ~ 53mph with field weakening on stock gearing. It's a Peter Paul. You can't have cake and eat it too on everything. The MX has a shit ton of torque off the line all the way to 35. As it's intended use isn't highway

Is yours the MX version? and in theory would the RS work alright on trails with a bigger rear sprocket to get the best of both worlds? Also do you know what the top speed of the RS mode is?

@@ashtonkrushelnitzky8223 yes rs would work fine on dirt. The difference is in the winding. When you make anything you have gives and takes. You can make it do one thing well but you sacrifice other things to do it. In this case they made the mx have tons of torque but that made speed much lower. They went a bit too aggressive. This they're giving everyone an rs motor except people using it for dirt will upload a dort tune. People using it for road use a road tune. And they are swappable if you use the bike for both. Rs is like a stock motor but way more power ability. As for speed I think it was stated on stock stock setup like 75-80phm

I have a new battery on the way. I have the ko kit so bac4k and 8k would be less useful
