That's when the ratings were at an all time high as well and it was the most entertaining, a lot of stars were built during that time in WWF, WCW, and ECW. Ruthless Aggression was fine, but definitely no where near as good as the Attitude Era was. Also, two of the biggest stars in the world left during the Ruthless Aggression Era, so I believe my argument is valid. I was around during that time and I knew what it was like going from Attitude Era to RAE and it was vastly different.
It's pretty crazy how much the WWE games have changed in just 7 years. I wasn't a huge fan of the gameplay aspect of SvR 2008 but 24/7 mode was absolutely fantastic I'm surprised they ditched that idea.

You know what we need? A remastered Smackdown vs Raw that encapsulates the best parts of 05/06/07/08 and tbh onwards too but they were kinda lackluster from 09 onwards. Like jesus imagine a remastered GM mode, all the legends (Cris penwah), multiple attires, all the match times etc. I honestly wouldn't go outside for a whole year.
SvR 2008 was one of “darker” ones in the series. Guys like Chris Benoit, Big Show, Kurt Angle, RVD, and others were no longer in the game after being there for so long. Some of the songs made this game depressing too
