I would not trust this obstacle avoidance, I was having trouble with it. I would recommend a dji mini 1 or 2, great little drone for a reasonable price. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for the excellent review of this new drone. I have found that after doing a RTH and canceling the RTH with the drone a few feet off the landing pad that the obstacle avoidance remains turned off. I understand that RTH turns off the obstacle avoidance on RTH, but it stays off until the drone is landed. Doing another takeoff reinstates the obstacle avoidance. This seems to be a workaround to turning off obstacle avoidance if desired.

What is your views on the new faa regulations. As mine is classed as a toy and has a camera. Does that mean I still got to get the operators card even though it has 14+ on the box. I now i don't need to do the flying test as its under 250 grams.
It’s a mess going on with FAA. I love flying drones and I am also a big rc car guy. So if comes down to it I may stick with the Rc cars, I have over 30 years of experience with them. Just the way all the local laws are going here in California , i many not be flying anymore.

Got that same drone for Christmas it's now the middle of January and I haven't been able to fly it cuz I can't figure things out wish you would show the screen a lot better I do know now how to unlock the motors thank you

What you seen in the video is the only time I’ve flown it I’ve been in and out of the hospital fighting for my life the last six months. These drones it doesn’t matter, but I get a lot of viewers that think otherwise. So your fine to calibrate either way. I also heard for the follow me mode, people use the phone only and not with the controller. But I haven’t tried that yet I’ve been ill for the last three weeks. Thanks for watching.
I’ve been watching these videos for the past month and finally pulled the trigger on my first drone! The drone I wanted needed to be less then $500, have great control/stability/range/ and tracking/waypoint modes that I’ll test soon on mountain biking trails(knowing it’s not a dji or skydio), the max was on order but then I found the FIMI X8 SE 2020 and bangood USA warehouse had it here in 48 hrs standard shipping... it’s super fun and easy to fly especially with the beginner modes... I have a few 6s and 4s rc cars so it was pretty easy to fly. I was impressed. I think in a few months I’ll be wanting a follow drone for mountain biking adventures🤘🏼💯🦅 This sg906 max looks awesome too. Anyone have any direct thoughts or have these 2 drones? Which do you like better?
What's a reasonable wind resistance limit for the ZLL SG906 Max? I just picked it up and haven't flown it. I don't expect it to be as stable as my MA2 but I would like to know if it can handle 10 mph gusts without shaking? Thanks for your very informative videos. HFTA!
It can handle 10mph wind, but I’m sure you will see movement in the video. This drone says it has eis, but I see movement in claim weather too. I just don’t see a strong stabilization like the bugs12, bugs20 and the holystone hs720e.

Great drone regards flight performance and its camera for a drone in its price range . My only issue you try flying it out of your garden out in to open feilds. THE obstacle sensor will stop you as it picks up on things like your garden shed your fences ECT. And then it just stops and sits there and hovers. REMOVE the obsticale sensor and it's a great drone . If you are a competent drone flyer you don't need this gadget on your drone . But thank you for your video it's a nice footage.

This can only take up to a 32 GB, any bigger and you’ll have problems not capturing video or it will pause and skip. For the how much time of recording depends on which SD card you bought. I would really like to know if you could set it up to fallow me on a bike and can you set 8t to fallow at a set range for example 20 feet behind and 15" above and through a underpass and can you connect more than 1 video views. Did you get your revised props from MAS Jennifer brown the head of customer service called me Friday Refunded me my money and asked if I would like anything so she sent me a set of foldable props for my phantom 4 pro which was awesome but the issue with the ma2 props she said are resolved the measurements in the molds were off she said slightly hope they took care of you bro
Believe it or not I haven’t heard back from master air screw. A bit disappointed in them, I’ve worked with them for the last few years. Very surprised not to hear back from them yet. I’m just glad there Exchange in People’s propellers, I’m happy to hear that. Thanks again Jake and have a great one.

Great video. I'm seriously thinking of buying one of these instead of a DJi Mini 2, not least because of the price consideration and my novice pilot ability. I have a Toysky S162 and looking to upgrade now that I'm more proficient and the obstacle avoidance is a powerful inducement.
I would get the mavic mini if you can, the price is still too high on this drone and I would save the extra money for the Dji. The mini is great for beginners, so don’t feel being a novice you can’t fly it. Thanks for watching and hope this helps. Cheers

I have taken delivery of my SG906 MAX and have discovered that it will not record to the SD card only to the app. If I use the remote control to record photos or video it still goes to the app, not the SD card. Been in lengthy email exchange with the supplier who cannot offer a solution even though the say they have asked the "factory". Anyone else experienced this problem? Any suggestions would been welcome.
I have to use the VLC video reading app to see the drones videos from the sd card. That’s the only app I found that can actually see the sd card format. Your videos are on the sd card, just have to try that app. It’s available for PC,android and iOS. VLC is the app and it has a traffic cone as the logo. Try that and see

Sorry to hear that, then definitely return it for sure. I know that Potensic dreamer 4K Pro I reviewed has been amazing. I know the holystone hs720e is a nice drone as well. One last one is the mjx bugs12e is around the sg906 price range and is a much better drone in my opinion. So I have made videos of all of these drones and it will give you an idea for a different and better drone.

Been looking at that drone myself. Apparently the obstacle avoided don't work if you're going backwards, but that doesn't really matter. I like them controllers that has the screen on them. All my controllers are just the standard ones. I'll be looking at upgrading in the summer from the s162 drone. Maybe by then there will be more new drones and more of a choice or hopefully even get lucky winning one from one of the RUclipsrs I'm following. Brilliant video and keep up the good work. But they EIS I believe is not working on this, or they didn’t really add it because this film was still not completely stable. A few drones I reviewed last year had EIS and they were sold and had no gimbal. This year I believe we will see so many more EIS drones and hopefully the price comes down. Thanks again for watching!
Your phone must have duel band 2.4 and 5.8 ghz Wi-Fi. You can look your phone up by googling it or by asking your provider. I know all iPhones from iPhone 5s and newer have dual Wi-Fi. All the new galaxy android phones as well. So you need to look up your phone if it doesn’t have that door Wi-Fi then you will not see any image from the drone.
@@BIGDRONEFLYER77RC The 5.8ghz and 2.4ghz u are talking about is for hotspot application I can't see that kind of setting on phone wifi besides am making use of wifi not hotspot
What are you talking about? I’m not talking about any hotspot I’m talking about the Wi-Fi that the Drones putting out for your phone and your phone should pick it up if it excepts 5.8 GHz Wi-Fi.
If you have this drone look out. If you are to move with the drone the drone will still go back to the home point(just like other drones), but the low power return cant be canceled. I climbed some trees because of this.
I've never heard of this one Donnie. That obstacle avoidance system is really unique and works well. Never seen laser avoidance as far as I can remember. That's really cool. The EIS seems to work fairly well too in conjunction with the 3 axis gimbal. I think 2021 will be the year of the EIS drones. Thanks for sharing Donnie!

Sure does not seem like it, I hope there not just adding features that are not there. I missed the Sony part, but if it is Sony senor. They are having camera issues then, it should be as smooth as the HolyStone hs720e & bugs 12 eis.
Yeah it’s pretty much a beast drone, that EXO. They’re nice little flyers, I have the beast 2 axis drone as well. I think I’m going to have a giveaway with that one and another pile of drones as well soon. I just about cleared and gave all of them away now. My room was looking like Jay drones room 😂

I recommend not using the obstacle avoidance. It can cause you crashes cuz you can only go bacwards if it detects something.

Just to clarify,
The obstacle avoidance works in the high speed mode but if you are going too fast it may not be able to stop fast enough
It just don’t work well at all and I won’t trust it. Just to be honest with you, and it would only pickup something very large like the tree.

Yes that’s what the company claims. The video still is not as stable as the dreamer 4K pro and the holystone hs720e.
@@BIGDRONEFLYER77RC Thank you for your reply, still there is nothing saying which one comes with the EIS (I browse through the Chinese company website and I see the EIS version is sold out, not sure the ones in the market have EIS or not)
Great video. I'm seriously thinking of buying one of these instead of a DJi Mini 2, not least because of the price consideration and my novice pilot ability. I have a Toysky S162 and looking to upgrade now that I'm more proficient and the obstacle avoidance is a powerful inducement.
I would get the mavic mini if you can, the price is still too high on this drone and I would save the extra money for the Dji. The mini is great for beginners, so don’t feel being a novice you can’t fly it. Thanks for watching and hope this helps. Cheers

are there any range extenders for this drone
I have taken delivery of my SG906 MAX and have discovered that it will not record to the SD card only to the app. If I use the remote control to record photos or video it still goes to the app, not the SD card. Been in lengthy email exchange with the supplier who cannot offer a solution even though the say they have asked the "factory". Anyone else experienced this problem? Any suggestions would been welcome.
I have to use the VLC video reading app to see the drones videos from the sd card. That’s the only app I found that can actually see the sd card format. Your videos are on the sd card, just have to try that app. It’s available for PC,android and iOS. VLC is the app and it has a traffic cone as the logo. Try that and see
@@BIGDRONEFLYER77RC Thanks for your advice which I have tried, the VLC app confirms that there is nothing on the SD card, all recordings only go to the app on my phone not the SD card. Must be a faulty drone!
Sorry to hear that, then definitely return it for sure. I know that Potensic dreamer 4K Pro I reviewed has been amazing. I know the holystone hs720e is a nice drone as well. One last one is the mjx bugs12e is around the sg906 price range and is a much better drone in my opinion. So I have made videos of all of these drones and it will give you an idea for a different and better drone.

No it’s pretty easy, it’s just pinching on both sides and it comes right off.

Been looking at that drone myself. Apparently the obstacle avoided don't work if you're going backwards, but that doesn't really matter. I like them controllers that has the screen on them. All my controllers are just the standard ones. I'll be looking at upgrading in the summer from the s162 drone. Maybe by then there will be more new drones and more of a choice or hopefully even get lucky winning one from one of the RUclipsrs I'm following. Brilliant video and keep up the good work. But they EIS I believe is not working on this, or they didn’t really add it because this film was still not completely stable. A few drones I reviewed last year had EIS and they were sold and had no gimbal. This year I believe we will see so many more EIS drones and hopefully the price comes down. Thanks again for watching!

Actually the SD or HD will be the same on 2K, The App had modified it.

my 4G android phone doesn't see the Drone wifi what do I do
Your phone must have duel band 2.4 and 5.8 ghz Wi-Fi. You can look your phone up by googling it or by asking your provider. I know all iPhones from iPhone 5s and newer have dual Wi-Fi. All the new galaxy android phones as well. So you need to look up your phone if it doesn’t have that door Wi-Fi then you will not see any image from the drone.

The 5.8ghz and 2.4ghz u are talking about is for hotspot application I can't see that kind of setting on phone wifi besides am making use of wifi not hotspot
What are you talking about? I’m not talking about any hotspot I’m talking about the Wi-Fi that the Drones putting out for your phone and your phone should pick it up if it excepts 5.8 GHz Wi-Fi.
If you have this drone look out. If you are to move with the drone the drone will still go back to the home point(just like other drones), but the low power return cant be canceled. I climbed some trees because of this.

I've never heard of this one Donnie. That obstacle avoidance system is really unique and works well. Never seen laser avoidance as far as I can remember. That's really cool. The EIS seems to work fairly well too in conjunction with the 3 axis gimbal. I think 2021 will be the year of the EIS drones. Thanks for sharing Donnie!
Thanks Ryan so much, I was just a little disappointed in the EIS. I wish they went with the Sony sensor, but it’s not too bad and it’s a nice flyer. The last drone I seen with the laser sensor was a tenergy drone back in 2017. Thanks again Ryan
@@BIGDRONEFLYER77RC that's too bad because it says on their website that it uses the Sony IMX177 sensor. So they didn't actually use it? If so they need to correct that on their website.
Sure does not seem like it, I hope there not just adding features that are not there. I missed the Sony part, but if it is Sony senor. They are having camera issues then, it should be as smooth as the HolyStone hs720e & bugs 12 eis.

Yeah it’s pretty much a beast drone, that EXO. They’re nice little flyers, I have the beast 2 axis drone as well. I think I’m going to have a giveaway with that one and another pile of drones as well soon. I just about cleared and gave all of them away now. My room was looking like Jay drones room 😂

Well if you calibrated the gps compasses right, it will return when losing connection or pressing the rth button.
