I really enjoyed this video. Owning your own home is very hard work. But it's a good project to do, and when it's done, you'll be so appreciative and excited that you did it
If you havent finished it yet then this is a perfect opportunity for a collab with another smaller youtuber that builds backyard ponds.

Use a pressure washer to clean the rocks better and then pump it out and it will be nice a fresh. Check the rocks around the intake and make sure the liner isn’t ripped or just not sealed.
This tiny pond is looking good so far I’m definitely up watching more videos you to continuing to working on the pond. Making it bigger with the waterfall and the fish would make it look spectacular. I really enjoyed this video. Great job Yappy!

That looks like a fun cleaning project. Definitely a new substrate, needs a power wash cleaning. I would maybe use that to build on as you upper waterfall bio system and have it cascade into the new built deep diving hole or the main aqua scape pond. Maybe some underwater corrugated tubes filled with water under your lawn/property you can swim and dive through with underwater lights. You can have a diving practice course along with the added water volume to keep a high volume of clean water natural hiding spots meaning you can overstock the pond and have a massive spectacular feeding show when they all congregate near a viewing section of the tunnels.
I definitely want to see this as a series!

Hey Yappy I think you might want to use a shop vac for any future maintenance with the tiny pond but it is coming along great!
I would have put a brand new liner in your pond and start from scratch. You are both going to make this big project beautiful!!!❤❤

It's coming along great! My husband and I had one that we made. It was a long but fun process. Dug the hole (about 3 ft) and used rubber roofing for our liner. (Cheaper) Filter of course. The fam gathered rocks from the river and creeks. We also had a waterfall and a fountain. Underwater lights and solar lights around it. We had a few picasimus and our koi. We had umpteen hours of enjoyment! Can't wait to see your finished product😊

Wow, it may be a little pond but it's a lot of hard yakka (work) to get it back to its former glory. The leak will definitely need sorting out. So glad the camera survived the drop. Fun video to watch. Great work by both of you. If you are REALLY lucky, a slow walk around the tiny pond just might reveal some soggy/wet ground, giving you an indication of the proximity of the leak!

Looked like some back breaking work. You should get Jake and Brandon to help build the bigger pond. Looks like your yard has a pretty big slope. Not sure if that will be good. Can’t wait to see you put fish in it.

The pond looks amazing. Good job Tristen and Kensey. I would suggest to clearing out all of the rocks around the tiny pond and relining the pond only because you don't know the condition of the liner and it might not be just a small hole in the liner where the water is leaking out.

Cool renovation. Raking and using the hoe near the to the bottom liner risks putting holes in it. Be careful. Good luck ✌🏻👍🏻
