I´m starting my final paper at college, and I need to implement a real-time path tracing, but I´m still in doubt if is better to use CUDA that is more generic, or something like DirectX, that´s support hardware tracing, that i suppose it is faster. Any recommendation to me?
As a graphics engineer, I recommend you use Optix if you do not need any rasterization feature. DirectX or Vulkan is way too verbose and complex for personal projects.
where nvidia jetson orin ? :'/
Looking forward to CUDA 13.0 🚀😍
Does this mean we are getting more production of the jetson nano at a cheaper cost! Nah thought so :(
dam thats pretty cool
Hello
when is the update for NVIDIA cuDNN 12?
The next cuDNN version is releasing soon; I don't have an exact date I can share.
Can I use PyTorch with my 4090 on windows 11 with cuda 12 or should I go to 11.8?
🤙

Could you please add Linux RT kernel to support ?
NVIDIA:Our company were be fucked by Linus Torvalds.
Johnny u better ask Torvalds lol 😆
@@nneeerrrd nope, someone just need add couple of line in build process for driver. It pure cuda driver issue on preempt_rt patch system.
You are amazing! Thank you!!!!!!

study psychology instead
you're better off using optix to take advantage of the RTX hardware

Woohoo CUDA 13.0 let's go
is GPU available for checkpoint?
