      @@nneeerrrd nope, someone just need add couple of line in build process for driver. It pure cuda driver issue on preempt_rt patch system.

    I´m starting my final paper at college, and I need to implement a real-time path tracing, but I´m still in doubt if is better to use CUDA that is more generic, or something like DirectX, that´s support hardware tracing, that i suppose it is faster. Any recommendation to me?

      you're better off using optix to take advantage of the RTX hardware

      As a graphics engineer, I recommend you use Optix if you do not need any rasterization feature. DirectX or Vulkan is way too verbose and complex for personal projects.
