- These kittens were rescued a few days prior to this video. Yvonne works to tame them so they will be adoptable soon. She teaches them to trust through feeding them on a spoon and with a glove. This is wonderful, very touching.

we had a feral black cat around work. I adopted him years ago. Told the wife she wouldn't even be able to touch. Took 2 of us in full battle gear to get him caged to go to vet. Brought him home. came out walked thru hall way and did figure 8 around wife's feet and then jumped on her lap. Only comment was " I thought you said he was mean". Passed away 2 years ago after 14 years with us.

It breaks my heart to see so many stray cats over the years...especially kittens. I hope these cute little babies have a loving and safe home ❤️
I surrendered feral kittens to the humane society after socializing them for three weeks. They were like these kittens when I started, around 5 weeks old. They were adopted in under a week.
I know it’s their abnormal natural habitat if you know what I mean.

I know this was four years ago but I had to say you are a beautiful person for taking care of these beautiful baby's....I have two feral kittens I adopted two years ago and it is so amazing the different personalities they have....Mine have never hissed or tried to scratch but I guess they count me as one of the pack now.....I am retired/disabled and have always stayed with them 24/7 in the same room....I wake up in the morning and usually one is sitting on the window ledge right beside me and the other one is in my bed or the cat tree....I so wish I could take on two more but I'm really not supposed to have any in the apt. complex....If they ever say the cats have to go then we all go....Best friends are hard to find but I have two that we love very much....God Bless and good night...Our lives are so much more filled with joy when we share it with our animal friends....Thank you again for what you do.....

@@Aeviu 8 years is prime age for a cat. They can easily grow to 16-20, or even over 20 years old if well cared for and healthy.

Yeah, they're more than happy to delegate leadership duties to him while they take it easy & cat nap. But did you notice that once the food comes out, it's every kitten for themselves? That's one thing they're definitely not delegating! 😸

I found a little orange kitten in freezing weather just after Christmas. He'd been the most scared of the feral cats in my grandparents' barn, but he's turned out a beautiful playful cat.

almost all my cats I've had were feral or rescues never had to do anything like this at all , when starvation sets in a feral becomes desperate and usually seeks a human at least in my case . My last cat I found a year ago in a parking lot screaming his head off , scooped him up fed him , cleaned him up , he slept with me that night . The ferals tend to be obsessive with me , they get super jealous but he still loves to crawl up to my shoulder and cuddle like he did when he was a kitten . All my cats seem to know they hit the lotto .

If someone inexperienced is going to follow an example on how to deal with feral kittens, being really cautious like this video is certainly better than being not cautious enough and ending up bitten or badly scratched. Particularly if not familiar with body language and warning signs.
It helps to make sure they don't have worms, The vet should always check out abandoned pets in case of unknown injuries.
Maybe the cats know that vikings are suckers for a cute face. You are doing a good thing, dude. Keep scoopin' them up!!

Had many ferals never forced like this. They turned out great and loving.
A kitty story! 7 months ago I heard a kitten crying. I thought that maybe 'he' wanted to get out of his house. That sound was so sad; continuing into the early evening. He was in the area of a car engine! I knew the owner; he came out with his sons. They got the kitty out & they passed him to me. The wild, frightened critter clawed me & I let him go. I said 'thanks & goodnight' feeling sadder still. At around 12 a.m. he was in another vehicle; crying, awfully hungry, etc..@ 5 a.m.; same sounds & more sad feelings. I talked to him to keep him fighting! And he did. The 2nd vehicle left @ 9 a.m....Imagine how I felt then animal lovers. Then? A knock on my door at 4 p.m.; and there was my neighbor with a greasy, wild kitty [about 1 or 1 1/2 months old]! He feel asleep on my shoulder & after that? Some food/water and a bath . Now 'Mercedes' is one of the cutest kittens ever [aren't they all]? Yes, I kept him. [I have playlists]...
Mercedes is also a German girl's name.
I love how the ';leader' went for the food so all the other cats followed lol.
I have a feral mom and one kitten outside. I want to catch the kitten. He seems to be about 8 weeks old. It's a shame that he doesn't have any other kittens to keep him company, but hopefully my older cats will teach him.
I've already tamed the kitten (only took a day lol) and I'm keeping him. :D I caught the mom today and I'm going to get her spayed and test her temperament. I'm not sure if she's feral or just scared. If she turns out being adoptable I'll have to find someone to take her or take her to the shelter if she's nice enough, because I already have 4 cats now.

+Erza Scarlet Because the mother was feral but the kitten could be tamed. The kitten lives inside with my other cats, is named Holmes, and is very happy. The mother unfortunately got hit by a car two weeks after we released her - we found her dead alongside the road.
So that's why I separated the kitten from the mom. I didn't want him to stay outside and get killed.

It’s always sad to hear something happen to the kittens mom. You know the mom was thinking about those kittens when something happened to her. Those babies are so sweet. This woman is so amazing and a beautiful person. Thank you for having a sweet heart.

Lol he was like "do you mind?" When you did the gender check. Food is a great winner. When I volunteering I won over a pair of very scared cats with chicken pieces, that most people couldn't get near. I became one of the only people who they would allow to get near and touch. One would be very hissy and spitty with people.

Soooo cute. I just rescued for the first time my baby and when he peed on me , I thought he is bad. I google it and found out he has blader infection and that's how he communicated to me . The veterinary gave him antibiotics and he's better We still have 3 days Also his eyes infection went away. Today I ordered a pink tower condo . I love my baby He's Orange and his name is Rubio

I rescued a cute pussy, turns out she was pregnant with 5 kids, 3 didn't make it, 2 survived, of those 2 one passed with cancer aged just 3, the one survivor is mine but he's got cardiomyopathy. He's doing well mind you now aged 7 has best food, best toys and best affection.
8 years ago. I hope these kittens are living a nice full life.

When my sister got her little kitten he was the sweetest thing ever but full of energy!!! I would grab him like the mother does and it would make me laugh everytime seeing his face and how quickly he calmed down lol he is now a year and a half and still a little sweetheart. 4:31 brought back memories haha

Someone dumped a pregnant cat who chose our yard back in September. I put food out for her every day . She was afraid of me but seemed to want to trust me. She had 4 kittens in our wood pile in October. We brought them inside and used them to lure her inside. Made a box for them in a dark corner. The kittens are 9 weeks old now. They play, eat and sleep. We might keep all of them unless we find homes we approve of. We for sure will keep the mom and 2 of her daughters tho. . We will get them all fixed.

I rescued 6 feral kittens recently. I fed them where they were born for a week prior to trapping them. So, they were nearly completely tame by the time I caught them. These kittens never tried to bite or hiss at me.

Shame. Good they are doing the socialization. I got my cat at a year old, and it took 3 years before he became cuddly. First reaction was to bite, and until a year ago he still sometimes bite my nose if I got too close. That is after 7 years of owning him. He fine now, can even give him belly kisses, doesn't like it, but doesn't attack anymore.

Trying currently to find help tracking down a stray's kittens, a formally VERY pregnant calico I feed here in Washington County NY, with no luck, alas--I'm physically disabled. As an aside, that old motel towel with the green stripe down the middle is from my late dad's former employer, Morgan Linen.

Of the three kittens we saved, the kitten we kept was also the hissy tough girl. She trusts me and is so very loving.... with me. My husband and my kids... wellllllll. Not as much. She’s not mean to them per say. She just doesn’t really love on them as much as me.

I’ve been studying cat genetics, and I predict the Mother was either Calico or tortoiseshell, and he father was orange, based off of their phenotypes
