Brought him home. came out walked thru hall way and did figure 8 around wife's feet and then jumped on her lap. Only comment was " I thought you said he was mean". Passed away 2 years ago after 14 years with us.

Needless to say did not get the job but got an amazing cream that got rid of it. He was our cat for 18 years and we miss him badly!
Yea I had one right on my face (cheek). Like others I got it from the ggym I suspect, thankfully as said above, an easy to get script for a cream clears it up pretty quickly. Man I was so self conscious at work for those two weeks or so haha.
Had an abandoned Male cat come up to my ground level apartment window, when I opened it he just waltzed right in and snuggled as close to me as possible, purred like a maniac. Went out right away to grab him some food and ask my neighbours about him. Apparently he'd been abandoned by a previous tenant months ago and had been seen lurking around the apartment dumpsters. He was one of the kindest and cuddly cats I had ever met, found him a forever home after a few weeks. That cat inspired me to become a cat foster.
Barbara, it's been six years now … how did they turn out? They are gorgeous … would love to know a recent update! Thank you for sharing and saving these beautiful kittens !!!
I got a 1 day old kitten in 2012. His mom was very young, and she gave birth under a pallet in a friends machine shop. Mom just moved on. My friend knew I rescued and got the newborn to me. I had it in a small pouch that I basically took with me everywhere for the first 3-4 weeks so I could bottle feed him whenever he got hungry. He bonded very strongly to me. Still have him today. Gettin old, but still my special little buddy.
The one I got was about a week old, the eyes were open but just a very little bit. Bottle fed and stimulated for quite a while. Now he is my little buddy in every way. Yours is about 11 now, I am sure hopeful, and in the same breath dreading the day he gets that old. Pets never last as long as they should. God bless

Most people don't think kittens bite hard cause when they bite it hardly hurts. What they don't understand is that if it didn't hurt its only cause they didn't bite you, they were warning you. In fact it will carve you up as best as it can, if it manages to pass by a vital line you may need to be rushed to a hospital before you bleed out. It also can easily pierce deep through human meat. Some kennel tech thought she's was some hot shit not wearing protective gear with the new feral kitten that just arrived. Told me and a few others to leave the room, that she was gonna grab the new kitten and didn't need us scaring it, that she knew what she was doing. 4 minutes later she's screaming and yelling for me to come back. Blood everywhere from the long deep scratches and she was bit on the thumb THROUGH THE NAIL. I immediately grabbed a towel threw it over Puffin the kitten and wrapped her up. thank you from one animal lover to another for saving these innocent creatures. I know it's a lot of hard work when you care so much and can't walk away from animals in need.
almost all my cats I've had were feral or rescues never had to do anything like this at all , when starvation sets in a feral becomes desperate and usually seeks a human at least in my case . My last cat I found a year ago in a parking lot screaming his head off , scooped him up fed him , cleaned him up , he slept with me that night . The ferals tend to be obsessive with me , they get super jealous but he still loves to crawl up to my shoulder and cuddle like he did when he was a kitten . All my cats seem to know they hit the lotto .
If someone inexperienced is going to follow an example on how to deal with feral kittens, being really cautious like this video is certainly better than being not cautious enough and ending up bitten or badly scratched. Particularly if not familiar with body language and warning signs.
I got my cat as a feral kitten at a friend of a friend's farm. Don't know what happened to her mommy or siblings- it was just her by herself, occasionally being fed by the farm-owners and then skittering off by herself again. I took her in as an indoor-only house-cat, and she's come a long ways. It actually took her two years to start purring like a regular house-cat! Like, she'd be happy and content, you could tell, but she'd never purr until recently. I worked very hard on her and she's just such a friendly, loving cat now. I mean, she was never a bad cat, just a skittish worry-wart cat with seperation anxiety, and is now a cat that curls up and sleeps with you at night and just starts purring the second you touch her. Some major things that worked on making her more friendly was; before touching her at ANY POINT, I'd *ALWAYS* ask permission. I'd let her smell my hand and if she retreated, I wouldn't touch her, or if she pushed into my hand, I'd pet her. If I was petting her and then she suddenly flinched or something, I'd always retreat my hand. If she peed where she wasn't suppose to, I woouldn't yell at her but show her to the kitty litter. And finally- I got put on anti-anxiety medication which turns out, my cat had anxiety because I had anxiety, and was learning it from me, so, my mellowing out made her mellow out. After that, she became a purr-machine. :>
KrissLucia she sounds awesome! Is she dating? Unlike other intolerant, biggoted, prejudiced, chauvinistic assholes. I'm PC, and learned at a young that if you don't date trans people, youre a transphob.
Cats are funny...I had a feral cat that adopted us going on 10 years ago. She would let me pets her, but that was about it. I made her a 28 gallon insulated house with a heating pad for the winter(Arizona winter that is lol) and feed her twice a day for the last 10 years. 3 weeks ago I open the back door and she walked right in and has been there ever since. The other two cats and her get along great, like they've always been together. Today she was playing with one of the cat toys. She acts like she's never been an outdoor kitty now. She goes to the back door and meows if she wants to go out for a few minutes and meows to get back in. She uses the littler box too Amazing!
This woman has the best job in the world. I found this kitten when I went to the humane society, super super little, less than a month old. He was found in the middle of nowhere alone, no mom, siblings, nothing. They later found he had no scruff to subdue him, which the mother uses to carry them and control them. I adopted him the day after I found him. My girlfriend and I have decided that the mother abandoned him to look after the others, because he was so feisty and had no scruff. We'll never know for sure, but that's good enough for me. I saved him, and that brightens my day.
+Keyshell i know right she really does have the best job ever, def a dream job if there ever was one IMO. aww thats great you guys are awesome! reply to my comment & let me know, would you consider making & posting videos of his progress?

Beautiful work! I've rescued, raised, adopted, and been adopted by a number of feral cats and kittens, and they can be a challenge. In every case, they were worth every second of it.
Their realising that humans are actually quite nice to baby kitties is lovely to see! For the first time since their mother vanished they're feeling safe, secure and provided for, all that baby kitties need. They'll go on to have loving families that will give them lovely lives. Which is exactly the way it should be.

That diluted calico is so pretty. I never knew what they were called. An auto shop here has one that wandered in as a stray. She’s the shop mascot. Very sweet.
It sure does work. I took in two kittens apparently wild, not even 3 pounds, got hissed at for some day after they got fixed soon after, just kept feeding them frequent little meals and luring them to play and I have some awesome cats now.
As an individual person not associated with any organization I have worked with nearly two dozen feral born kittens ranging in age from as young as possibly 48 hours to as old as many weeks. All having been found near a big rig wash and rest lot. Having dealt with the tireless effort needed to tend to as many as three days old kittens requiring bottle feeding every two hours I can say that fostering even a single litter can be overwhelming even if they are of an age that feeding from a bottle is no longer needed, but to take on four litters is amazing. After nearly three years of tending to feral born and abandon kittens while routinely trapping and fixing adults in the area there hasn't been a litter found in over a year despite multiple instances of domesticated cats having been abondon by what I must assume was truckers who for whatever reason. Having been a die hard cat hater nearly a decade ago I admit my change has been as extreme as any of the cats I have taken in. It was a semi-feral elderly female I called Felix that changed me as I helped her after discovering her injured from a fight I assume with a dog when I came across her hiding under a bush in my front yard. It took well over a year, but I still recall the first time she followed me into my house most likely because she was just to old to want to deal with the Arizona summers outside. She passed away later that year but left an impact on me that lives on. It's in her honor I took to helping other cats in need.
The day before you published this I rescued three abandoned female kittens. They have now taken over my home, but my two older cats and I wouldn’t know what to do without them. I realized they need each other to feel safe, so this will be their forever home!
They are so adorable!!! It reminds me when I rescued a momma kitty, and she had 6 litters. Two of them got adopted, and I have the four kittens right now. They are so precious. I kept the momma kitty too, and on top of that, I have 8 other kitties. They were all rescued from outside from different times.
I have only had the honor of helping three fernal kittens, two of them I got to keep. The third went to a friend my mom worked with. Good Job. I didn't actually used food and a glove I put a pillow on my lap and petted them, until they relaxed.
Barbara, you are SOOOOO good with those cats! I hope you have some good support to help you with the food costs and care, and vet bills! I feed about 12-13 feral cats, 3 times a day, that are in the bushes at Home Depot in Lakewood Mall, and when I can get the mommies caught, I get them fixed and released back to their families! Keep up the excellent work and thanks for your help with the kittens!!!

The Mad Viking agree so much with your statement. Not saying her method is bad. It seems great. I just seems a little bit over complicated to me...
If someone inexperienced is going to follow an example on how to deal with feral kittens, being really cautious like this video is certainly better than being not cautious enough and ending up bitten or badly scratched. Particularly if not familiar with body language and warning signs.
It helps to make sure they don't have worms, The vet should always check out abandoned pets in case of unknown injuries.
Maybe the cats know that vikings are suckers for a cute face. You are doing a good thing, dude. Keep scoopin' them up!!
Yeh you right them not feral to me
I got my cat as a feral kitten at a friend of a friend's farm.
+KrissLucia That's great to hear :)
KrissLucia she sounds awesome! Is she dating? Unlike other intolerant, biggoted, prejudiced, chauvinistic assholes. I'm PC, and learned at a young that if you don't date trans people, youre a transphob.
Miki Miyazaki Where does that even come from????
Tamaki742 it has it's origins in a small village in Tai Mai ku province
That makes so much sense!! Aww
Adorable. God bless the people who rescue and help these babies find good homes.
I love how gentle and wise you are with them. I love gentle women like you, thank you.
Kitten unboxing videos are the best.
I think my heart is going to explode with love for these beautiful creatures

+Keyshell i know right she really does have the best job ever, def a dream job if there ever was one IMO.
aww thats great you guys are awesome! reply to my comment & let me know, would you consider making & posting videos of his progress?
melleighxoxo If I had thought about that when I got him I definitely would have considered it. He's over a year old now though, basically grown up.
+Keyshell This kinda job can be pretty depressing sometimes, tho. But then again, I believe that is true for most jobs.
So anyone else getting this recommended 8 years later?
Yup. Gotta love the crazy YT algorithms.
Yes lmao
yeeaa
Yes! God Bless that lady!

These kittens are so pretty omfg
cousinira I love the hissy ginger boy and the Calico! 😍😍😍
Beautiful work! I've rescued, raised, adopted, and been adopted by a number of feral cats and kittens, and they can be a challenge. In every case, they were worth every second of it.
Thank you so much for taking care of this adorable little gang of cuties. Many thanks to all who rescue !
Their realising that humans are actually quite nice to baby kitties is lovely to see!
For the first time since their mother vanished they're feeling safe, secure and provided for, all that baby kitties need.
They'll go on to have loving families that will give them lovely lives.
Which is exactly the way it should be.
black kittens in the other cage wanted some food too.
ikr.. :(

The level of SQUEEEEEEEEEE in this video is off of the charts!!! I love all of these beautiful kitties, and thank you for all that you do for these beautiful kitties!!! The world needs more people like you!!!
That diluted calico is so pretty. I never knew what they were called. An auto shop here has one that wandered in as a stray. She’s the shop mascot. Very sweet.
SO beautiful! I would love to have all of them - and spoil them the rest of their lives!
It sure does work. I took in two kittens apparently wild, not even 3 pounds, got hissed at for some day after they got fixed soon after, just kept feeding them frequent little meals and luring them to play and I have some awesome cats now.
You are good people. Saving lives is amazing.
Amen to that.
I hope these beautiful little kittens have found their forever homes and have a wonderful happy and very loved life.. R.I.P mummy cat.
I hope they are thriving and enjoying life where ever they may be today. Sweet and good you did for them.
So much gratitude for taking care of these babies. They r beautiful!
So glad you saved these babies😸
Such patience and loving care. You're a great example to us all.
God bless you for saving these angels
Awwww... and when they play with each other they are learning... “ how hard can I bite you, and still have you as my friend “....😊.
Nothing feels better than holding a Cat on your hands for petting it. These kittens are on extreme league of cuteness 😍❤
Ah yes .... kittens are designed to melt the hearts of cat professionals and we ordinary cat fans alike. So cute!!!
I love this woman for what she does. I know how much pain you endure in this line of work
Thank God for special people like you who care and love these little guys so much!
I hope they'll got their home and human to take care of them soon. you're amazing for saving them
THEY ARE SO CUTE
Awww, they are so precious, bless you for rescuing them They are so cute.
This lady understands cats and kittens. The eyes are good clues - the slow blink is a milestone in relaxation and acceptence, even in adult cats.
The day before you published this I rescued three abandoned female kittens. They have now taken over my home, but my two older cats and I wouldn’t know what to do without them. I realized they need each other to feel safe, so this will be their forever home!
YOU HAVE IT RIGHT THE KEY FOOD AND TALKING TO THEM AND LOVE.......GOD BLESS YOU KID....
This lady is a bodhisattva of the earth. The work she is doing will polish her karma for many future lifetimes to come. My compliments.
Keep up the excellent work and thanks for your help with the kittens!!!
you are a wonderful lady. keep up the good work! xxx
Such a wonderful woman!
naughty babies don't hiss at the nice lady! you are really good with these fuzzybums :)

So beautiful! Thank you for caring.
The lady sounds so sweet and motherly!! :)
I have rescued other feral cats and like you know they can be tamed with love and patience.
+Chris News ++++1
Feral means she could have barely approached them! 😊
+Chris News a tamed cat is not afraid of humans which these kittens clearly are so theyre feral
+Chris News they are not tame kittens lol sorry, but your comment made me laugh, if they were tame they wouldn't have hissed or swatted at her.
+Chris News lol
Agree, only haters and heartless idiots cannot be tamed
Wow this lady is so loving and patient. Those kittens are so cute.
Absolutely precious God bless you for what you are doing 👍👍👍🤗
