I'm in Plat 1 and I'm surprised I'm still having games where tanks or other supports are telling me to healbot.. it's funny because they're trying to educate me on a character in a role they never play. Watching you has given me more hope about solo q tho
@@mattimath somebody got mad at me for not healing them fast enough in Arcade’s total mayhem (they were a DPS) so I nano’ed him when he got back from spawn and he just stood there looking at me and was like, “seriously?” I’m a back line Ana so he was literally dps’ing right next to me but never asked for healing specifically or got in front of my scope like that’s ur fault

Getting used to the new movement, there are moments where I mess up or waste ga. But gameplay is a lot better after quite a bit of practice. In the mean time when I wasn't playing mercy I got quite a bit better at kiriko! Happy about that it's easier to climb diamond 4, was masters 5 but got stuck.
Yeah I mostly pocket Cass, soj, or soldier now because genji's are so hard to keep up with. I feel like some players forgot mercy GA was nerfed because they charge in too fast and die because my i couldn't catch up and beam them 😖
I may not play mercy as much (been hard on kiriko lol) watching you play is still very enjoyable so thank you for continuing, congrats on GM 1 this season :D
All the ga nerf did is make you have to decide if that ga is worth the cd now, you also have to consider that its a lot easier to catch you now so baiting players is also more important and positioning

Aaaa I do like a good movement challenge but I gotta say this makes me miss ow1 movement, it felt so flowy ;-; ow2's movement felt snappy at least, though I agree it was op, but mannnn ;-;
Great tips but you were blessed with some good teammates. Ball peeled for you. Even echo at @6:15 asked for healing while full to let you know you had someone to fly to. Great gameplay and very competent team.
After so long of the 2 second GA, 3 seconds feels like it takes forever. I don't mind some of the changes,but I also feel like they weren't really needed? It's not like she was overpowered,and all this change did was give people who yell at Mercy for not /just/ pocketing them (not allowed to heal anyone else I guess) another reason. Since the change I've been yelled at so much when it's my dps or tanks who leave me behind,then don't come to me for healing.

It`s still so crazy to me how Mercy players even climb up. I find it very difficult. As a DPS Main it is much easier in my opinion to climb as a dps player
Congratulations! I am envious. I am working on my Mercy skills but since I am starting at a low level, I do not see my damage boost numbers rise as much as I would like. I suppose I should just grind it out and play more Comp and hopefully once my level increases I will be able to play with better teammates. As an aside, have you ever had a DPS ask you not to damage boost them (I would not do that to an invisible Sombra)? I've experienced this request twice recently and I simply cannot understand why.
New mercy is still pretty good you just have to play more safe and be careful with positioning and if you make mistakes you’re way more likely to get punished
i’ve been watching your content for a while now. i’ve definitely learned so much from your videos, but i can’t seem to rank up? is support supposed to be this hard to rank up? i have almost 200 hours on mercy, i know support can only do so much, and that it’s not all about the most heals. but what can i do?
You're not gonna rank up as fast as you want to with Mercy then say an Ana or Zen, because her carry potential is very limited and is very team dependent. Play Ana or Zen for example and you can carry your games if you're playing above the rank you’re currently in. Also don't blame your teammates and taking some accountability would be a good start too
I don't understand how in solo queue, some people don't seem to get massive strings of absolutely trash games. especially when they get to around the gold/plat level of the climb. I'm lucky if i win half my games because there always seems to be at least one person on the team playing like they have a railroad spike in their head. Run off on solo suicidal flanks, can't land shots whether i boost them or not. And not forgetting the players that just loaf around for the "lol's" because this is their alt/road to bronze account. =T Oh and also having a gold/plat team, and the matchmaking throws us against Master players, but never put them on my team ='(
honestly i think i’m pretty good with mercy it’s just that i’m still trying to get use to the aim with her. i still don’t know what sensitivity i’m comfortable with yet and honestly i wish there were two different sensitivities. like one for the gun and one for her staff cuz idk, im just really not as good with her pistol and it kinda sucks.
my friends keeps complaining when I pull my pistol out. I'm like, dude, mercy players can be fun too. If I'm healing you and I'm doing the last hit to secure the kill. it's a win for us all.

I dont understand how people can do unranked to GM Mercy only when all my teams never get hit markers and have 2k dmg on Ashe xD 1/4 games I get a good dps but most of the time they cant hit a shot and wont switch to counter who they're dying to. Which then leads me to swap tf off mercy LOL

New GA feels so clunky to use. I hate it.
I agree especially when you want to res ur teammate but ur to far away and ur GA is taking forever to load

Your blue (or yellow) line is tell your dps place to anemy.
