Hello good morning Zak, I wanted to ask you if the LTD EC1000T/CTM SW guitar is good for a beginner and if you can achieve a sound similar to randy rhoads with it 😎👊

Hi Saul, I found the LTD EC1000 series lacking depth of sound & feel. The closest thing to a les paul for me under the ESP umbrella is the Eclipse 2. It's a pretty big price difference, but it's worth the investment. The LTDs always sound thin to my ear. Though you could get the LTD EC1000T and swap out the electronics/pickups & still come in under the Eclipse 2 price.
