I'm in year 3 of Cali T ownership. It's my first Ferrari and first convertible, now I'm eying 458s, as I want just a little more sportiness. But I agree with your review 100%. Great 1st exotic.
Calif and T were billed as the every day, Ferrari, since most Ferrari owners had a different car to drive every day Ferrari decided to offer one more comfortable and usable. It sits higher, so it doesn’t scrape speed bumps, and there’s more travel in the shock to absorb bumps.
I had my choice between the California T, and a 2013 Cal30, with 10k miles. I did not even need to think about ….Cal30 ALL THE WAY!!!!! Its SOUNDS BETTER, LOOKS WAY WAY better, and it drives perfectly fine. It’s plenty fast enough….
Cool, the next superman actor finally reviewed the Cali T. Interesting that the Portofino in your view does not justify the price difference (the roof mechanism is identical btw). What would tell someone who is considering a 488 Spider in comparison to the Cali T/Portofino?
Hahaha thanks for watching! I mean the Portofino is a nice upgrade from the Cali T, and is even more refined, and has better tech as well. I just the Cali T is better value overall, if the modern tech and refinement are important to you, then get the portofino. As for the 488, that is more of a traditional Ferrari experience, and is definitely a faster/better handling car, being mid-engined. I have a 488 Spider review on my channel, if you want to check it out
@@CassianLevinson Have seen almost all your reviews already, especially love the ones with Robin and Batm.. ähhh Superman ;) The Cali T is probably bottoming out pricewise now, Portofino (M) will depreciate over the next years, the 488 being mid-engined anyway holds its value better. Any views on the Cali 30? Still naturally aspirated, but better tech than the standard Cali?
@@AppletreeGreen hahah unfortunately Robin is no longer in the videos :( and I agree with you on the Portofino. I've driven the Cali 30 as well and it is a nice jump in tech and power that you can feel
@@CassianLevinson in dubai you can buy 2015 cali t with 80k km only 80k dollar, which is same price with 570s, do you think which one is better car? or should i add 50% (40k) more to get 488?
This is my third Ferrari. I have other cars and other toys. This thing is really fun very sophisticated looks great I really like the car. It's not my first Ferrari.
