Just to clear up any confusion, to clarify, this is not a TCP-IP connection. It's a 2-wire modbus RTU connection that uses a Ethernet connector in the motor vfd.

Thanks for this comment. Can the HMI communicate with the PLC over Modbus Tcp and the PLC send the messages to the VFD via RTU-485 or will I need a protocol converter ?

Hi, my CIF11 doesn't blink that fast, it only blinks once every 5 seconds,
Do you have any idea what is wrong ?
