- absolutely loved the movie!!!
I thought the book was so fun and when I first saw the trailer for the movie, I could already see it matching the picture in my head. I had plans to see this in theatres, but because of quarantine, I ended up watching it at home instead and it was actually better because I could be super loud hahah. The movie was fun and fresh and gorgeous to look at! Emma and Knightley were perfect. I loved all of it :)

Saw this film twice in one week when it came out. Utterly mesmerising. The two leads were well matched and the rest of the casting superb. Love Johnny Flynn for both his music and acting, he is multi-talented, and Anya Taylor-Joy is brilliant in everything she does. This compilation is so well done. It really captures the essence of their relationship. The movie is also beautifully shot, the colours are stunning, matching the seasons and the costuming to die for. It is really a lovely piece of work. Thanks for posting this. Probably the best compilation of this movie out there.
I love the shot at 2:40 where she's walking alone. Next frame Knightley starts to walk too but my head captured her lonely appearance but and then you ended the edit 4:05 with them walking together, with Knightley by her side...I found that beautiful! I could go on about rest of your editing and take up all your day xD Beautiful job on this as always. Haven't been watching classics for a long time, but who can not like Jane Austen? One of my fav women, author, inspiration :)

He's the exact age as the book Mr. Knightley. 37. I don't think he's supposed to be austere - that's more like Mr. Darcy (but that's just my opinion!)

He is, 16 years older than Emma. :)
The actors actually have an age gap of 13 years. Johnny is 37 and Anna 24.
It was very common for an older man to marry a younger woman during the Regency period. In the book, Emma is 21 and Knightley is 37; very close to the actors ages.
