Not sure how anyone could look at your World Champs experience as "career ending". Certainly didn't go as planned, but you raced both races and finished both, you're healthy and training and you have the opportunity to go right back at it at World Cross. It's been a fantastic 4 or 5 months, with several PR's and now with three GB vests. It's a long climb and you've made significant steps recently and the trajectory is right. More good progress is ahead. Best of luck in Belgrade!
❤he faded anr stumbled...time to retire.
@@B-ex3ibI assume you must’ve been at the world champs and beat him then?
Thank you Kevin! Solid indoor season overall, excited to bounce back for the outdoor season
as a club runner back in the day, just getting to the world champs is next level. Keep going fogdog
Was definitely an amazing experience to be on the team for world indoors! Thank you!
next races will see the fury of fogdog!
After watching the whole video, I have only one word, in the words of FogDog “Brilliant”
Really good to see you so upbeat after a difficult experience Adam. Wishing you the best of runs in Belgrade. 🏃🏻♂️
I like your attitude, this video feels like you're "taking it in stride" (pun intended). I agree with kevin m and you that this isn't so bad for you, and that your trajectory is right.
Thank you and very good pun
If I have learned nothing else in 50+ years of running and racing, it is there are both sweet successes and depressing disappointments. Stay the course. Live your dream without regrets.
Way to keep your head up, keep grinding. It's clear you can compete at the highest stage
Your on your way to the top! Fitness is crazy 😜 It’s Amazing following your journey!
Bad luck ,Adam...you need to watch Steve Overt in the Olympic 1980 800m final, he certainly showed everyone on the track who was the boss.
Great to follow your progression . Now your name is known life will be easier as far as being picked . Career enhancing World Champs. That’s sport ❤
Good to see you back
When i first saw you fall i got so much worried luckly you finished💪
It’s tough at the top. Good luck at Worlds C C.
DFL in the World Championship Final is still 15th in the world.
14th ;) but yeah 100% can't forget that, thank you!
To the future Olympian: When you loose, your fans lose with you. We all hope you keep on winning. Good luck for the Worlds of X country.
Thank you!
Is it not considered bad form to press the pace on when someone has fallen? I do a lot of cycling and in bike races when someone crashes, it's not against the rules to attack but it's not very common for it to happen, if anything the bunch actually eases to allow people to re-join. Even if it's tactically smart, I wouldn't want to beat someone because they tripped. It's in the same bracket as attacking through feed stations to me
Not in a short race like this where so many variables can impact how the race plays out. I agree in a longer race where there is a big pack it would be harsh to break away with a fall, but think it's different in this situation
@@adam_fogg Thanks for the response Adam, very different racing isn't it :)
Adam, how tall are you?
Adam when i do long reps like 1k in about 3:40 minute per kilometre my legs feel tightness what's the main reason is it is lactate level or anything plz reply
Could be anything, but possibly down to an overall lack of aerobic fitness. Try to run more easy mileage and when you can increase that, start adding in some good threshold sessions. It's hard to say without more context, but keep training well and you'll feel stronger and improve
the aesthetic of this video is so british. gray.
What sort of tit would look at your World Champs experience as "career ending"? You fall you bounce back stronger next time! or take up tiddlywinks! XC Worlds...BOOM!!
That thumbnail. oh no.
Not ideal
When I watched the final, I noticed that you were more hyped up than you usually are at the start of a race… food for thought, but I was thinking that maybe you had an adrenaline dump at the start of the race which then obviously faded. Similar to how the heat went after you got tripped… I may be completely wrong but I just thought I’d mention it for an outsiders perspective.
Regardless, it was your first individual world champs. So don’t be too tough on yourself Foggy. Learning experience. You’ll do better at the next one 💪
Yeah I was really trying to get myself up for it but maybe overdid it, all good though! Solid indoor season and am very excited to build on that momentum going into the outdoor season
where is BIKE
One day mr BIKE will feature again
did people really call it career ending???some people are just dumb af
You seem to fall a lot to be honest...maybe you need to review your starts before going into outdoors
Name another time I've fallen at the start. I got tripped 100m from the finish in a mile indoor 2020, then 200m in at Millrose in 2022. Then again at world indoors. All 3 times it's been from a person clipping my heels from behind me, so I would say it has been entirely out of my control
