The 1more overear headphones use a similar connector, there are cables that will fit that, the reason for the narrow entry is that 2.mm is so easy to break like the 1more it goes inside the housing to give strength, whys they both didn't just use 3.5 trrs or trrs I have no idea
I think the Mo-Fi was the original name of the headphone and they discontinued that one Redesigned that headphone so it would be lighter (the Mo-Fi was on the heavier side) and that headphone was branded the Mix-Fi The Lola iirc is more or less the same housing and functionality but with planar drivers
I see. It's interesting that the information seems to be lacking when I was looking at the different models. Confusing with all the re-names and stuff.
Decent review, I think you might have missed the mark a bit maybe due to how hard it is to get information on these now a days, also not getting them new I think affected your first impression on fit and feel. The built in Amp not only is great for media consumption but using the 1/4 adapter you can plug straight into different sources for example, I use mine to play my Electric guitar/bass without waking the house. Second cable has a decent inline mic aswell which I've often been complimented on as im sure you know Blue is most known for its Mics.
Not uncomfortable, exactly... would "unnatural" be a good word to describe wearing them? The cups (not the headband/suspension) remind me of 1980s grade school language lab equipment. Plug them into a big ol' cassette deck with nice dual illuminated VU meters and you're in business! A few years ago a friend of mine who worked in a music store had a colleague who won some amped Blue headphones in a promotion. The guy didn't really want them, so I asked if I could buy them at a discount. I decided to give it a pass because he wanted full retail price for something he got for free, plus I had doubts about battery life and the added weight from an amp and battery. By the way, I picked up a supercharger direct from Burson for my Soloist 3XP after your $1K amp shootout video. Good call - it has woken up and breathed some life into what I had previously considered a slightly-better-than-meh amplifier.

Thanks for sharing your experience.
There's also the Ella (a planar ;-) )
The Blue headphone looks like something a Helicopter pilot would wear

Unnatural is probably a good way to put it. Glad you feel the supercharger was a good buy, I was quite impressed with the difference it made.
Shame they over engineered the ergonomics I'll def keep an eye on this brand
those look so wonky i dont know if i could ever see myself wearing those in public since they are marketed for portable use.
Looks like Dan Clark and Abyss made a monstrosity budget headphone lol
