I watched the whole series of the Ulysses doing that Atlantic crossing. Great viewing and totally agree that when the stabilizers were switched off, for a brief servicing, made for great viewing especially when they were switched back on and immediately stopped the roll.
They deserve to keep their value as well as they do, but it's a disappointment -- I wish I could afford one, even an older one. But they last so well they never get much less expensive.
I love seeing various trawler yacht's Bearing is my favorite though. I can't stand seeing carpet in them though. No way I'd have carpet. Nice build. Good video.
Nordhavn's are epic! Who could not love such a masterpiece of ocean travel? Yacht Buoy, as to the capacity of the crane on the boat deck. 1,519 Kg is 3348 pounds or 1.6 short tons. Be happy, be safe.
A fine example of the most well proven blue water trawler yacht ever made. Build quality is second to none, quality of all systems are excellent and installed with accessibility in mind. A boat like this will never appear dated or obsolete, it can only become an endearing classic for decades to come. Thanks for another enjoyable video.
Those Detroit engines are as close to flawless as you can get. I would seriously consider them as option 1 if i ever get the chance to build new, or re outfit an older boat.
I woulf start by turning the dinghy (?) 90° and put it along the rails on the aft. Then stretch the pilothouse backwards ~three feet. Ditch the flybridge OR enclose with thermal glass (deluxe skylounge), openable windows and AC/heating. OK?
NH builds lovely yachts. Doubtful I will consider a glass hull again: some love, some hate. I day-sailed a smaller NH some years ago, can't recall the LOA. She sailed very nicely, but the engine noise was too loud for long voyages. US Taxes are added to purchase price, so caveat emptor.
Considering the effort that goes into building up the hull of Nordhavns, pound for pound they're probably stronger than some of their steel counterparts. These aren't day boat hulls - even the N55/N60 have hulls up to 6 inches thick in some areas. That's SOLID FB...not cored. Do you know how long it takes to build a hull up like that? THAT'S what you are paying for.
Didnt they only build 1 boat and now stopped....retty sure thats the case....if steel i would go bering....other materials would be fleming, nordhavn or some older dutch built boats.
Definitely not an owner operator NH at this level for me absolutely but for what you're paying I think that affords a proper crew to truly live this unique lifestyle just right and for all.
I'm pleased to finally see a Nordhaven Explorer Yacht powered by twin engines. Their usual "get home" engine never inspired a great deal of confidence.
I have been banging on about that from the first time i saw one. You should have read the flack i got from Nordhaven groupies AND NORDHAVEN THEMSELVES. Now the whole range has dual engines. NOT A WORD of dissent from said groupies. It's called "Redundancy" as you well know, you know that area of explorer yachts we demand. Johnno will tell yer my position on the subject.
Cant see why its been bought by now?....been on sale for 18mnths/ 2 yrs. been used well ! 8900 hrs on engines, flagged as Kiwi on yachtworld adverts but seems to be UK flagged now
Now then me 'ole salty sea dog, have heard of a "Peloton bike. Went on me mates. Come off it wiv legs i last had when i visited the "Cut" in Valetta - all over the place they were. You know me Johnno by now and we both agree our specification for a true explorer vessel. Cruising at 8.5kn aint one of 'em. Marathon runners complete a 26mile race in 2hrs for gawds sake. No, this is a coast hugger. Again you know in truth that these smaller vessels just do not have the fuel capacity WITH 10% reserve to be a true explorer. Now then, get up to a 120, with a change of interior and we can start talking. Gotta go, grandkids want me on the trampoline in the garden. (I get on wiv 'em, they make me fall down and they laugh at me 'cos i can't get up while they keep bouncing. Buggers! (PS; don't get on when you've had a few drinks).
Hello, I think you need to check the channel yacht yacht. They seem to be stealing other peoples content and using it. Think they have just posted one of your videos.
So FIRST OFF SRY THIS COMMENT IS ON A VIDEO THAT IS 2 YEARS OLD. With that said WOW I get it that they are called STABILIZERS I DO HONESTLY! Never saw a video of them in such a way as this video showed them.
Don't forget to check out my trawler yacht playlist: ruclips.net/p/PLsh0iDjG606QHV-7UbtW4tLOsmz9-Vf15
I love the larger Nord Haven trawlers. If I could ever afford it that is probably what I would buy. Their workmanship is exemplary.
🙌

Hurricane season here in the southern Caribbean . When other yachts are looking for shelter this vessel is ideal to island hop.
Beautiful, I would love to have this yacht.
You and me both!
*Yacht Bouy* Now that's a real beauty, thank-you sir for taking the time to show us. God Bless.
Thanks for watching 🙏
Nordhavn has nurtured my love of trawler yachts. This one is no exception.

I came here to say exactly that as well!
Another great yacht. Thank you for this 👏🍻
🙌 thanks for watching 👀

Nice boat. Nordhavn seems to have a really nice selection of yachts up to 120 feet. The dream live on lol.
It does!
Legend of a boat!
Great job with the video 👍🏼
Thanks 🙌 I appreciate it 👍
Beautiful Boat!

U do a pretty good job.more info n more inside tour.🥺🥺🥺😬🙏
Hi sir, great vid, Just wonder what your top 3 ot top 5 trawler yachts are?
All owner operated of course
Good question! Although, I would need to get aboard my top five 🙌
They're beautiful yachts, but I'm not shelling out that kind of cash for a fiberglass hull.
Considering the effort that goes into building up the hull of Nordhavns, pound for pound they're probably stronger than some of their steel counterparts. No kidding.
I love how people who don't understand boat construction at all are dead set on steel, always.
Lekker man lekker 🇿🇦
🙌
Very nice, but the Allseas92 would be my choice.
Totally agree, Allseas92 is an absolutely fantastic ocean going motor yacht, I would love a walk through on the 120.
@@paton57 There is an Allseas 120?
@@fifthof1795 I'm pretty sure that in an interview Tim said that they were looking at building a 120
@@paton57 I have a feeling he's not building any more, but if he is, I'd love to see a 120 version .

Very nice very stable fuel efficiency and inexpensive for 2 mil +🤗
Nice

My dream ship if able to win the money

I don’t think she will be on the market for too much longer - she needs to get back to doing what she does best; exploring!
Love Nords but they go Soooo slowly. But I'm still thinking about it 😝
12kts is a good speed for a trawler yacht 🌊
Just need to win the lottery…….I wish
I really like Nordhavn 76...but there is no passage around. Only along one side
Thanks for watching 🙌
Love Nordhavan but they all seem a little light in the pants. I would never buy a ship with a cruising speed less than 12 knots
I'm the opposite
@@dadejazzba402 why?
@@jimbab2883 Full displacement fuel burn
Looking for something around the million dollar and under budget.
This has got to be the best motor yacht on the market. Just wish I could afford one 🙄
Me too! 'Bahamas, here I come!' (if only!)

great trawler yacht just not thrilled there made in China.
It's nice to see what the boats can do in seas for a change 👍🥸

I love the Nordhavns. They really received some bad publicity from their 120 though.🛥
