I read a comment the other day from someone who said Pentatonix does not COVER songs, they UPGRADE them! That is so very true and so very obvious with this one!! I never even really paid attention to the original song, but this one is a banger!
I would recommend Gold as a double reaction also - just to see how amazing PTX are with this song. And I almost always prefer the PTX version to the originals! With only a very few exceptions.
Yes the timestamp is much appreciated. Ariana Grande has a lovely voice, but she is just not my style. I did watch her video this time for that Russian Boy, and so I could see how much better PTX would make it.

There are some songs where I never heard the original - like "Gold" - and if a reactor hadn't put it in front of me I probably never would have bothered... and that would have been a huge shame, because I never would have completely understood how amazing the PTX version was.
@@russianboy1 Radioactive would be another good one to do, plus you'll see Kevin Cello-boxing and Lindsey Sterling on Violin as a guest artist. I definitely prefer the PTX version and that's saying something because I enjoy Imagine Dragons.

I LOVE double reactions! It really highlights the way PTX elevates a song. One that will knock your socks of is "Gold" by Kiara, and their cover. Another would be "Come Along" I don't know the original artist. Great fun!

Great reaction, love it! I'm really enjoying such back-to-back "comparisons" since you get to hear the original song and then can immediately see what PTX made out of it. And I agree with the other comments that suggested Gold by Kiiara for that double-reaction format. Mitch's vocal talent in that is insane, but you can only appreciate it fully if you've heard the original song first. Regarding Problem, I kinda enjoyed hearing the original song at first, but it quickly got repetitive for me the more often I listened to it. PTX's version, however, has been among my favorites ever since I heard it the first time. I suppose it's all those little effects they sprinkle in there that keep it fresh and exciting, and of course Mitch's rap. He's so good at it! Since you were wondering during Ariana's version who would do the whispered "One less problem without you", did you notice that it was Kevin whispering the words while beatboxing? Insane!
And I've heard that a lot of folks (you know what I mean) have clipped his "Listen to me" to use as their ringtone and/or alarm sound. Wake up to that voice...

I love the double reaction and appreciate the time stamp. I dont always love every choice pentatonix makes musically but i always end up preferring their arrangement and execution of a song.
I don't listen to a lot of rap, okay, make that none...so often it's hard for me to understand what they are saying (kind of like how my students don't understand when I play British comedy clips during lessons, lol). Mitch's enunciation is so clear I understand every word :-)
I didn't feel any energy from the 1st video. And, what is up with Scott's baby face?! OMG! I feel so much energy from PTX. I want so bad to see them in concert!

It is a pop song which is a little bit like fingernails on a chalk board to me. I 'sucked it up' & watched both versions on your video. GAWD!! I had forgotten how much I hate pop!! I do like the Pentatonix version better as well. If only in the fact it is 'less poppy' than Ariana sang it. Hope you don't get 'flamed' too much in comments. Great reaction.

This filter is the only way to fix blocking by youtube. At least I don`t have to cut part of the video anymore 😊
