  • I have played this harmonica for more than six months and feel like I have reached a point where I can confidently describe the quality and worth of cost. This is not the cheapest chromatic harmonica, but also far from the most expensive. In my opinion it has proven to return in amplitude on the cost of purchase. it has grown into becoming my favorite chromatic harmonica. Well done Seydel!

Hi Per Stian, personally I prefer the Hohner Toots Hard Bopper for the 12 holes while for the 16 holes the Suzuki SCX-64; I prefer them for the sound, the fluid and silent slide mechanics. The Suzuki is also easy to disassemble and clean. The reeds are incredibly in tune even after 8 years of use! 😊👋👋👋

Hohner Mellow tone was my first chromatic! They are very good. Timeless design 🌞

With the Seydel Chromatic De Luxe Low C, however, I had a terrible time; after a week of use I forgot several reeds. They replaced it for me but after a while it too lost its pitch! 🤗👋

That's terrible! I am sorry to hear your experience was not good. I generally like Seydel a lot but have been lucky with my harps.
