Don't worry your first match couldn't be as bad as my first Ki200. "Took off" as I got down the run way, nose tipped and it exploded, killing a mig15 teammate nearby and put me at -14k
I had that happen to me a few months ago, except I was in the La-200 and a teammate in the a 163 just spontaneously exploded next to me

Nope I can beat it. 1st match with a Meteor, and pulled back too quickly, expecting it to take off like a spitfire. Exploded, taking out a teammate who was next to me
This was quality there. Those long range High HE missile yeets were just perfect

@@TARmeow At what ranges do you fire front/rear aspect with the S-24s? And what distance fuze setting.
@@Rubberduckzillas normally i fire them frontally, depends on the speed but the average is when the enemy is coming hot and the marker says 1.40/1.50km, from the back i dont remmember
@@TARmeow From the back it should be around 0.4 - 0.5 km if both you and the opponent were fast.

For 1v1s, I love to preset the nozzles to full vertical, cut throttle, pull diagonal up, and the second that the VTOL kicks in push full throttle and snaproll into the hover mode. Works phenomenally with the R-60s, and is consistent when you get the hang of it. Fun, too.
saying the yak38 is your first vtol experience is like saying the yak15 is your first jet.

@@ATBatmanMALS31 it's teen angst. I'm on your side, I think war thunder is a lot of fun too. I'm only tier two and don't get to play all the time cause of medical school, but for those 4 hours or so a week, I'm having a blast. Some matches are really bad, some are really good. I think too many people are focused on grinding to get the next plane rather than enjoying what they have in their inventory.
I mean it makes sense when you think about it, what are you gonna do after you get that plane? get more planes? it never ends

People say there is no russian bias but they get OP as fuck HE rockets that go literally absolutely nowhere near the enemy but instantly kill them. Funny.
Well, being fully honest, these and the s21s got really nerfed. I only started getting average kills with them after half a week. They are also buggy, so sometimes they will just give "hit"

Premium Yak38 is probably the best premium plane in the game
why didnt u use thrust vector bro it helps a lot when dogfighting
you need to use thrust vectoring when your about to slam the ground it helps
You can’t understand how much I can relate… Funny thing is this is me in my F-100D but only difference is no matter how hard I try I die before the 3 minute mark by a R-60.
I'd only use the VTOL Flight Controls when i'll land on a carrier.

Just got the yak38m and r60s promptly afterwards but never get to use then DUE TO THE PROMPT ABSENCE OF FLARES AND CHAFF ON A 9.7 VTOL SUPERSONIC AIRCRAFT

VTOLS are great for SIM starting from the carriers, doing bomb runs against enemy ships, going back to rearm and do another run and farm cash and reserach points that way, also by destroying ships you grant your team victory points. I destroy normal ships tho because Im afraid of attacking enemy carriers xd Its much easier and faster to do it in a vtol aircraft, sometimes you only have carrier spawns and sometimes, carriers are very close to enemy ships so you dont have to fly to the airfield
had some great fun with it in sim ngl, also they normally got good accelaration
I actually didn't know there were modes with ships in sim
On today in WT on USSR can play only crazy,tryhards and nolifers((((

I remember trying to land a HE111 without tail control. I was about 500 meters from the airfield when my engines died and I stalled
what settings do you use on your missiles and how far do you shoot them ?
i set my rockets with a fuze of 1000 meters and fire them when the enemy hits 1.50km
I feel like a dick for saying this but. It's not that hard to take off and land using the VTOL capabilities. Atleast not in the AV-8C

the other one doesnt get as many payload options, i think it cant take r60s with payload, it can only take r60 or the payload (but idk)
