People act as though they can't understand Whitney's attraction to him. But I think they were both gorgeous, talented and without drugs could have been a lasting love story ❤
People thought Whitney should have had a pretty boy! But - in my opinion, Bobby had the Eyes of the Tiger, he was SEXY and HANDSOME as ever. Yes, everyone said Bobby had a laid-back but fun personality. This is what attracted Whitney.

I’ve always been told “he was ugly”, but I am not seeing it here at all 😍. He is gorgeous and has such an attractive personality. Very sexy man and mysterious in way…like you would want to keep talking to him. He’s always seemed chill in interviews Ive seen of him in his older years, but all of this together makes him extremely attractive. I literally looked up at the sky and said “I get it, Whitney” hahaha😂❤️

This is why people shouldn't do drugs. He went from this articulate, handsome, intelligent young man to smoking tons of weed and other drugs, bouts of alcoholism, weight gain, and being burnt out by 40.
After all the hurt, drugs, alcohol, and weight gain, he’s still articulate, intelligent, and most importantly, positive. Yes he fell off but he seems like he’s in peace with himself.

That small moment when Bobby spoke on about drugs, I felt a bit sad, as we all saw what we saw in the years after this interview.
But I am so glad he bounced back the way he did, he is so talented and went through A LOT, so he deserves all his flowers right now.
Honestly, that part of the interview sounded like stuff his agent told him to say to promote a "respectable" image that would sell, esp for white audiences. This was just after the Reagan era "Just say no" campaign, and at that time white conservatives loved to hear black celebrities go along with the narrative that black people didn't face much discrimination anymore and most of their problems were their own fault because of stuff like gangs and drugs.
I've read that he didn't do coke until his relationship with Whitney Houston, so not saying he was doing drugs at this point. But I think it would be weird for a person in his position to really think that staying off drugs and listening to your parents is a big key to success. I'm sure he knew a lot of successful people in the entertainment industry who did party drugs on a regular basis and didn't get along with their parents.

@@abiola33 The other thing I just realized that seems odd...I always saw My Prerogative as an anthem for independent-minded young people, some of whom were tired of having their parents tell them what to do. Hearing the song's writer tell young people to listen to what their parents have to say feels surreal to me. I get that he might have been directing the song more at the media than parents, but still seems ironic when the chorus says, "I don't need permission, make my own decisions."

Bobby essentially handed his career to Usher. If he hadn’t fell off, it would have been something rise watching those two compete throughout the 1990’s and 2000’s for record sales.
This man has had so many hits as a solo artist and as a group member and he has been in the industry for about 40 years and you won't have to many artist or groups that last that long. And on a side note I have a you tube channel type in Russell Mills May 22, 2017 to find me.
