So awesome to see/hear this online. The "racing stripes" on the neck are the tabs on her necktie. The ESP shop in Ochanomizu had the poster for this last year but I never thought I'd see one. Props for the Miku Stomp!
That blue is very nice. I also like the pink accent. Great looking guitar indeed! That Hatsune Miku effect pedal and The Dooo shouting in the sound hole of his ukulele are two things that will never get old... 😂
This is sooo cool, I like that instead of just having a decal of Miku slapped on it somewhere (other than the case which I think is fine), it has elements inspired by her design. It is really clean and tasteful and might just look to a casual observer to be some kind of racing inspired thing with the "01" numbers and stripes on the back of the neck, but to a Vocaloid/Hatsune Miku fan, it would definitely be one of those "if you know, you know" kinds of things. I like that subtle kind of design for "anime"/Japanese pop culture merchandise, as it's still considered a little weird where I live, like a shirt with a green and black checker pattern might just look like that to someone not in the know, but someone who does know would probably instantly think of Kamado Tanjiro from Demon Slayer for example.
Yeah man as a weeb, I love app these new low key anime designs that don’t look weird and cringy. Like have you seen the Jujutsu Kaisen merch, it’s super clean.
Yep. As both of you are saying. I love anime merch that actually useable and won't embarrass you. Like it looks good to most people but If you're in the know you know exactly what it's merch for.
Agree with others, I really did not expect to like this. But this is a pretty cool guitar. Also, this is the first time I have ever heard that Miku pedal used where it actually sounded like a song. Well done to Pete!!! He really can play anything and make it sound good.
They should make that shape a production model so us peasants could get one. I'd buy it on the shape, and hardware alone. Amazing. An artist model made for a cartoon girl that had previously only had a hilarious pedal, and we cant afford it. Heck man we have $5 a gallon gas now, & less doritos in our chip bags, times are hard man!
I'm a huge Vocaloid fan and I wanna make my own Vocaloid songs but I'm just now learning to play the guitar. I really want this guitar and the acoustic version but I don't feel like I deserve to own it until after I get decent with the one I currently own. I guess this'll serve as motivation to practice everyday lol cause I really, really want it and I don't care how much I have to spend to get it
I don’t care about the guitar, but as soon as I saw it, my first thought was somebody has to play it through the miku pedal…thank you DP! A £9k guitar through possibly the most aurally offensive pedal ever made. Love it 😂
Oh god, I was drunk one night 4 years ago, fell asleep watching the korg miku video laughing my ass off. When I had woken up, I woke up surprised that I had ordered one through andertons that night. 😂 I still don’t know if I regret it or not😂😂Thankfully I don’t have the money in my account for this.
if you like the shape the sell it as the NERGAL ns-6 with fishman pickups. its all black and has a pickguard and a stoptail. other than that looks like you would have to go custom shop or try and import a japanese model
im picturing the scene in the boardroom when they were designing this guitar. i can see all the well-dressed japanese executives sat around the table, and Hatsune Miku is projected on the wall, speaking to the executives and going, "hmm, yes, locking tuners, good idea!"
You don’t know how badly I wish ESP made Stream production models. Even as a Miku fan I wouldn’t drop that much money on a guitar even if I had the money, but I’d jump all over a E-II Stream without the Miku branding but a similar color. It’s such a cool take on the Firebird vibe
The basses are def better than nothing. I don’t have much experience playing ESPs basses but the few stream basses I’ve seen look just as cool as the guitars. I really should give one a spin if I ever see em in a shop…
You need a bloke with a Clapperboard, Pete. Pete. I remember that guitar. I'm only slightly embarrassed that I told you I liked it. It actually looks cool. I'm looking forward to you wringing out from it some serious tones. Besides it's always good to see a new shape. P
Well, at least Pete's outro was super entertaining! I wouldn't pay the tax on this thing for it. Not a bad guitar, or build/shape. Just a guitar however. Thanks Pete!!
I don't care about anime at all, but that guitar is awesome ! I like the shape, it has a cool headstock, the body looks ergonomic, and it sounds great. I even like the color. Too bad it's $9k+
Interesting that they'd even bother releasing this in the West. I think the Miku character is a really cute and great design and the colour palette is ALWAYS great. Those 3 or 4 colours just go perfectly together. So the guitar looks amazing and Pete makes it sound brilliant ( remember though, Pete makes everything sound brilliant ) but its 2022 and I didn't think Miku was even still a thing, especially in the UK :) Amazed that one of them is getting a release over here. 39 as far as I can recall is a Miku thing and to do with the character's lore, but I'm not sure what it is exactly. So a genuinely beautiful guitar, but at nearly £10,000 I am not sure how its relevant enough to justify that price. I suppose this is just an ad for millionaires really, whilst the rest of us are only allowed to look on and remain jealous, whilst a 56 year old CEO hangs it on a wall and never actually plays it. Oh well.
Not an anime fan but a huge ESP fan. They are overlooked as hyper metalhead guitars only and always the bridesmaid to American brands. Wake up people they're brilliant!
props to pete for being able to jam with a straight face with that pedal
Haha, I thought the guitar will always sound like the pedal. :D
I expected something kind of silly, but this actually looks very cool.
Same.
It looks silly and sounds so as well! 😲
Looks like a cross between a Firebird and an Iceman!
Totally agree! £9K is a little beyond my price range sadly. But I love the looks. If it was a sane price I'd go for a guitar that looks like that.
Its your inner weaboo
That jam at the end is by far the most musical I've ever heard that pedal! Well done sir! 😎
We need the Hatsune Miku amp stack 🤣
I use mine in place of a wah
Props for making the Miku pedal sound musical and not just losing your &^%$ laughing.
As a huge vocaloid fan as well as ESP enjoyer, this would be my dream guitar. Too bad im broke as always
You and me both, bud! May our fortunes be bountiful in the future.
Indeed I have been loving all this collab guitar just like the last time Eva fender but im broke
We're all broke when facing a 7k USD guitar.
@@andesneko mate, it's almost $12k USD before tax. $7k is already eye watering but $12k is downright painful!
@@wrestlnrulz Damn.

It's the first time I see someone making actual music with the Miku pedal. And that guitar is gorgeous.
You actually made the miku pedal sound good in the outro Jam. Truly a maestro!
I love the body/headstock shape! I'd be VERY tempted by an "ordinary" version of that
I think there are regular versions of that model, it's the Stream. I don't know if guitars are that common, but I've seen a few basses with the shape.
That blue is very nice. I also like the pink accent. Great looking guitar indeed!
That Hatsune Miku effect pedal and The Dooo shouting in the sound hole of his ukulele are two things that will never get old... 😂

I like that this guitar just looks DIFFERENT! that's a nice change to see in the larger manufacturers!
That Miku pedal NEVER gets old. If there was any way I could afford one, I would have it. It would entertain me forever.
Pete: I’m not gonna give away what it is yet
Title: Unboxing the ESP Hatsune Miku Signature Guitar
Damn, never thought that I'd see Andertons and Miku together.
Det där var en het elgitarr, och vilken härlig effektpedal! : ) Tack Danske Pete, tack Andertons Music!
For the price, I was expecting the Miku pedal to built into the guitar. You can’t have one without the other. Just saying.
Right , at 9g's!! But that pedal sounds atrocious!
It cost more then a new car. Crazy
@@caprise-music6722 - It’s only £9,000. You need to buy better cars lol
@@caprise-music6722 Yeah who can afford a guitar in this price range , other than artists!
Someone has to cosplay, use miku pedal and play utsu p

The blue outline design perfectly portrays Miku's stylish hair, love it
Pair that with the pedal! You know THAT PEDAL. Complete the package

Watch the video.. you know the one that you commented on!!
Love the Danish Pete unboxing videos! Can't have enough of them. :)
There’s only 39 of these because in japanese 3 is “mi” and 9 is “ku”.
39 = Miku
In Japanose, 40 is "fo" and 9 is "ku", so 49.
@@Ndlanding 40 is yonjuu
@@Ndlanding there’s no “fo” sound in japanese
@@Nikita13337 Er, I was making a joke.
@@Ndlanding I know. It’s a bad joke sadly.
I expected it to be just silly, but it's actually, most genuinely great looking!
Hearing that Miku pedal, I feel we need a K.K. Slider one next lol
And I thought the Korg Miku was the weirdest piece of gear I've ever seen, the body admittedly looks really cool and sounds good through the amp
Hearing the jam and pedal at the end was awesome would like to hear more. It's like jamming on the guitar as miku is just singing in the background
Always good too see some different takes on guitar builds and tech .
That's actually a really nice looking guitar. I dig it.

Thank you for showing this guitar! This video is amazing!
Mercy that sounds incredible. So fast and even in the response
INB4 Danish Pete suddenly goes full anime, buys this guitar, and starts a career as a blues vocaloid.

Billie : I'm a baaaaad guy

I didn't know how much I needed this...
one of the best looking guitar i´ve seen in a long time!

@@BassRacerx Nice, thanks.
6:39 What was that SOUND?
God I love the ESP stream body shape so much.
Hatsune Miku!!
Gosh, ESP keep killing it with those collab
The greatest sequel of all time
That jam at the end was biblical
I can never take the Miku pedal seriously, but that guitar looks absolutely amazing.
Woah he used the pedal like a gated fuzz! That was trippy.
The price is £8,999. Very nice. Enjoyed the video. Be good if the Korg pedal was in the case as well. Need a left handed one now.

I love that ESP was the one to make this
Never change you wonderful meticulous Japanese mad lads
❤ - ESP simp since I learned to play on one in 2005
that pedal is best "instant laugh" thing ever made.
Worth every penny
that is actually quite sick great job on the design
i tell you what, that is one cool looking guitar
Somewhere Lee's head is about to explode during that jam out

I am starting to like that pedal... cute novelty
The guitar is kind of sweet! And congrats on making the pedal at least palatable!
Side note really hope they do another run of korg mikus. Can't find that pedal anywhere for not crazy money
Yeah I need that guitar I’m convinced
I was expecting a guitar with built in Miku pedal...
I left impressed it was a great player and disappointed it didn't nyah
"I'm the blues guy." What a legend!
Does the grassroots version also have coil splits?
It’s the guitar version of the ESP Stream bass. very cool
Well made video. Miku pedal was a great touch obviously.
Badass looking guitar!🤘🎸🎸
Lost it at 12:38 😂😂
The guitar looks great!
Looks and Sounds Awesome. That sure is one original Pedal.
Just visually that's sweet as hell man...an amp to match the axe and case would be tits! Hardtail version as well..

It seems it has a little bit of a scuff or buffing compound on the headstock, right below the e tuner where the black meets the blue
Well, at least Pete's outro was super entertaining! I wouldn't pay the tax on this thing for it. Not a bad guitar, or build/shape. Just a guitar however. Thanks Pete!!

Great video, Pete.
I hate the guitar, but was fun to watch.
At 11:59 you can hear the Captain in his office laughing hysterically.
ESP Missed an open goal there! Surely should have integrated the miku chip into the guitar w an on/off toggle or whammy or something
Needs to have the miku pedal in the case with it too for free
Didn't expect that quality nor did I expect that price
That pedal is nuts

I just came for Pete! He’s great!
Cool guitar. Not for me, but I appreciate everything that comes out of ESP’s custom shop.
A man of culture i see
In these unboxing videos……can you leave what make and model they are off of the video description. Would make it more fun to watch.
Those two stripes are Miku's signature necktie isn't it? Nice detail!

How many did they make? I didn't quite get it from the video
I need this ASAP
Reminds me of the funniest Andertons tv vid ever !
