In the wild they are very solitary and don't do much more than stand in a reed bed waiting for fish to swim by. The only gripe I might have have with this zoo environment is that it is noisy, but that is inherent to zoos nowadays.

Shoebills have been increasingly more popularized by the internet in a good way. Hopefully this can lead to more awareness for this endangered bird so it can be better protected!

性別も女の子だと判明し、特にイケメン男性飼育員さんになつく姿がカワイイと、今では写真集も発売されるほどの人気者・・だそうです(自分はまだ、ふたばちゃんに直接会ったことはありませんが、毎日RUclipsの動画と写真集で、その愛らしさに癒やされてます😃)
クラッタリングとは、ハシビロコウがくちばしをカッカッカッ・・と鳴らす仕草のことで、主に親愛を表しているとのことですよ😀そういうところもまたカワイイ🤗
