@HitboTC you should have done the ‘merchant voyage’ part of the Athena quest… each item gave 1 level of reputation plus a base reward of 10k on delivery. They were custom delivery pieces WORTH DOING. I was so sad to see you leave them out, missing out on juicy money and reputation.
@marcolampie the parrot is the hunter’s call forager parrot. It’s in the collector’s pets section of the pirate emporium. I have no idea what the other commenter is on about when they say it’s from the arena; it’s not.
I got the same discovery ridge one as your second and let me just say I struggled and took about 20 minutes with a friend to find it, it wasn’t even me who found it so I probably could have taken even longer! It was a pain seeing you walk past it.

Firstly my gilded athena got canceled because i was going into the quest table but it change prompts and it canceled. Secondly. i then just decided to do an order of souls. But alas. As i rose from diving my game crashed. and when i loaded back to my boat i had the bug where you spawn and die, then get kicked. and no matter how many times i did join it never worked. I ended up just giving up. all my excitement for doing them just gone. so i missed out on the entire event. and the tattoos. I then contacted rare and they basically said they couldn't do anything. No compensation. When they use to give out gildeds as apologies. Just highly disappointed
Only crank wheel before adjusting sails when you are parallel broadside. More commonly when you are circling your opponent, the second you de-mast them you will want to fully raise sails, then crank wheel, then wait until you are 90 degrees from them, then drop to the correct sail height. If you crank wheel first you will take ages to start the spiral and they will escape.
Work towards cosmetics locked behind long goals, make your play sessions stories, find some friends to stack with, make a party boat, sink every boat you find, etc. there’s a lot more to this game than just doing the voyages and watching a number go up. I hope you find some you enjoy.
SoT is a sandbox game. Like Minecraft and a few others so it’s up to you to make it what you want. But I mean there’s lots to do. Start doing hourglass or tall tales

i wanted to go reapers and stack our gilded voyages but just one of them took so long we decided to just stick to each one's respective emissary
