so im watching the video and you haven't mentioned it at all-- the BEST minion setup, with the same setup you're using for Slimes, is going to be Revenant T12 minions (15.5m/day) (with Plasma Buckets). They are the best minion overall, although it's only a +15% difference from Slime (13.5m/day). Revenants minions are super expensive so it's understandable why you wouldn't want to do that. Revenant minions with a different setup can get ~45m/day. By utilizing some CO-OP shenanigans to level up Golden Dragons (im pretty sure it's considered cheating though? haven't found a mod ruling for it yet). Inferno minions are a WHOLE DIFFERENT CATEGORY of good though, making more than 100m+ a day at tier 11. Except it's entirely based on Bazaar prices, so more people have Inferno minions = rates continue to go down.
You also did not NEARLY stress the importance of the magma cube, or literally just being on the island at all. The rates are tremendously different if there is no one on your island due to a calculation bug with Corrupt Soil! And the Magma Cube pet has CRAZY mileage with its 30% speed buff.
For anyone reading this, if you do not plan on AFK'ing your island with your main or an alt, your best bet is Sheep. Especially since the Berberis Fuel Injector (15% speed, only works with Farming minions) is FARRRR cheaper than a Flycatcher (20% speed).
TL;DR Sheep w/ Corrupt soil + Berberis Fuel Injector. Sheep performs better than Slime if your island is not loaded.
That being said, Slime has the pet advantage, so it takes a wild lead if you are going to afk on your island (+ the advantages from Corrupt Soil calculating properly).
Also purchasing Hamster Wheels for your minion setup is wild and definitely not worth it. that same amount of money could be spent on Plasma Buckets and you'll never lose that investment ever again.
Lastly, I would like to hold you accountable. This title is shit and you did not explain why this minion is the best at all-- you simply just showed how to set it up. No one is asking me to do this, but I intend on caring about this sort of stuff. Your voice is amazing and I believe you could totally take your channel in a better direction by better planning these videos... it took you 8 minutes to show the setup. i kinda wish this wasn't the first video i saw from your channel, i'm sure you make good stuff :/
instead, what a saw was an excuse to post "here's what's up and you can support me by buying my cape". looking forward to what you make next

Yes, I definitely agree with you loon but do you think for rev minions w/hyper catalysts are better than plasma buckets, I saw a video Swavy made about revs and he used hyper catalysts for even more combat xp. Great Post!

How long does it take before you actually earn money from it?
I have (other than some voidlings) 25 Slime Minions and they make me a lot of 3,000,000 coins per day ! They have tier 11, enchanted lava buckets, minion expanders, corrupt soil and enchanted hoppers !! It is an incredible ~100,000,000 coins but has paid back soo much more

Rev minions with 8 members in the coop makes a lv200 g drag in 8 days (collected when Diana is mayor) so it makes 60-70m per day

You dont need chests, the point of corrupt soil is for the minions to insta sell, more storage is a bad thing here
not bad, just useless generally. You can make 1 box per minion if you want, it means 10% more speed or smth.@@childcrusader7486

don’t use super compactors, just claim the hoppers
Hello i wanna ask if im doing something wrong with my minion design you have on the video, for some reason even if i put wool on top of the highest block slimes can still jump out and also the slimes can glitch thought the walls and fall to void
might be late but did u build it out of transparent block like glass or leaves or smth, if yes then replace it to a full block

Do flycatchers still work if you aren’t spider lvl6?
If you tryputting them into the minionslot yout get a chat message that you are not spiederslayer 6.
But getting spiederslayer6 is really fast.
If you can afford fly catcher but cant grind to spider 6, there is à problem

I use minion expanders for the 10% enchanted lava buckets and super with enchanted hopper and the soil upgrade
Im not sure but i think they nerfed the price of corrupted frags from 500 to 20 coins per.

If ur using hoppers, super compactors are literally nerfing urself, im sorry but this is the most unaware comment ive ever read, you need to use minion expanders when using hoppers, if ur not using hoppers use compactors

claim minions before the enchanted slime balls turn into enchanted slime blocks (it devalues a lot)

the enchanted hopper sells the corrupt fragments, and then the scomp compacts the sulfur and slime for you to sell manually

yes they do - if ur island isnt loaded the slimeballs and sulphur get compacted and the corrupt frags get sold. it increases profit provided you collect before the slimeballs get turned into a slime block@@mineologist7003

My slime minions are pretty standard, they’re just regular t11 corrupt soil diamond spreading e hopper and regular e lava bucket. Overall 6 mil a minion. And this makes 5 mil a day for me from 29 of them. Snow minions would make less than a THIRD of that.
If I have the money, are fly catchers really worth it?
you will never make the money back from getting flycatchers but they still give more money so its up to you

it's almost 900m for 28 of them, at that cost, it'll take 3 months to break even for the flycatchers alone.
The theoretical max minion setup is making 90bil per year rn(on paper and can be a bit rng but over time it will make that on average) from max infurno but slime are op for its price ngl and i get that its way cheaper than the 100bil+ start price for the infurno setup

hamster wheels actually make you less profit + they are consumables and not permanent.. so i think u messed up ur calculations on that part but overall not too bad of a video
how did he mess up the calculations, he factored in the profit after buying hamster wheels every month
@@jeffrey8189 with Hamster wheels you have 25% more profit than Lava bucket which are one time purchase so you would have to make around 1.5m more from one minion from the 25% in one month than Lava bucket to make it more profitable which is not the case you don't even come even with it. So yeah he may have just added the 50% which makes no sense because obviously Lava buckets exist and they are permanent.
hamster wheels are like 35k each they are not expensive at all. literally everybody who can spend extra money on hamster wheels does so because its more worth it.@@nokyap4638
@@nokyap4638 yeah it is really just killing the profit given hamster wheels give additive buff, so it is a net lost . Enchanted lava bucket is probably good enough cus going any higher takes 10 months to break even ( I use diamond spreading, t5 beacon and pet)

costing 900m your gona make 300m/month roughly, thats a 30% monthly return, youd get far more profit just investing
If you want a faster return, fly catchers are definitely not necessary. Using minion expanders instead makes the total price only about 250m and is wayyy more efficient

Welllll technically there’s a 30m a day minion setup but it’s very. Very. Very. Very impractical. Ask me and I’ll tell you how. Edit: um I can’t see y’all’s reply’s very well I think u need to reply to one of my reply’s to my own comment 😅
But it does work for like a couple days or so of not collecting so that’s nice (needs big boi storages)
It also doesn’t rlly go down in money per day and honestly goes up by like 2-3x on the start of some updates
