i’ve been searching for a comparison of all three everywhere! but it seemed like everyone just had one of the three. i’m so glad i found this! i’ll definitely use your code when i order. it sounds like the experience pro is basically the experience and quiet all in one? (by adding the mute, it turns from experience to quiet, so you kinda get the best of both worlds?)
@@jadeloggedon wow! That is a great question!! I’m actually away this weekend gigging. I have my Pro plugs with me but (always on my keychain) but not the experience. When I get back to my studio I’m going to try and see how well it fits. Expect a reply from me with your answer next week when I’m back! -Michael
I bought my first pair of Loop earplugs today and they're comfortable and really do work. I'm a musician and I rehearse with my band in a tiny studio and I've been trying different plugs. I purchased the Experience Pro. Your video was helpful because I wanted to install the mute and your instruction was short and sweet without bla bla bla. I also appreciate your delivery - it's clear and understandable. Thanks for that. So many RUclipsrs mumble, talk way too fast and/or spend too much time bragging about how much they know (and I'm sorry to be the grammar police but I gotta say this: "it's more quieter" drives me CRAZY. It's just "quieter"). These work! Thank you! I liked and subscribed and I'm gonna buy another pair just so I can use your code.
Hey, "Get Off the Stage!" Thank you so much for joining the conversation and letting us all know your experience with Loop. I'm so glad you appreciate my delivery and how I structure my videos. And thanks very much for using my code. We all win! I hope others read what you wrote. It really is a great product. -Michael
Hey Memo MEX! You just made my day! I debated with myself about the intro because I didn't want to come across as copy. I decided to do it because this is the kind of intro I want to see. I figured we all way the answers to our questions right away and if we still had some questions then we'd stick around until the end of the video. Thanks again. Did you figure out if LOOP was right for you? -Michael
Last night I went dancing at a club's reggaetón night, and I woke up with a lot of ear ringing and sensitivity to loud noises. I remember seeing people in the club with these on and I just thought they were jewelry. I wish I had taken care of my hearing as a kid going to punk shows, but it's never too late to try and keep what I still have.
Yes! It’s not too late to start now. When I first started playing in rock band as a teenager it wasn’t cool to wear your protection. So, I too didn’t do the right thing when it came to my ears and my hearing. I’m glad I wised up. Which loop products are you thinking about getting? -Michael
What about your sensitivity and ear ringing now? I listened to music loudly and I have sensivity and ear ringing for a while. (P.S: English is not my native language so sorry if I made mistake while making sentences)
I've just ordered the experience pro ones after watching your video! I'm very noise sensitive so I wasn't sure the regular 'experience' would be enough, but I didn't want the quiet either because I want to have conversations with people without it being too muffled or having to take them off. There are days where I can cope but others where my sensitivity is more intense like today, where even the TV or music just hurts my ears and I can get a bit irritated and stressed after a while. Let's hope they help! They ship from Belgium and I'm in France so it shouldn't be long!
Hi Alice! Thanks so much for letting us know the latest about why you purchase Loop. Based on what you said your situation is like, I feel you made the right choice, since you still want to be able to have conversations with others while reducing the overall room noise. Please let us know how they work out for you once they arrive. Greetings from New York! -Michael
Maybe its a dumb question, but, if you buy and put the mute ring in the normal Experience ones, its exactly the same as Experience Pro? Or is any diference?
Not a dumb question at all, but be prepared for some conflicting opinions. This question was asked by another subscriber of mine about a year ago. It didn't even cross my mind to try it. When I did put the mute in the Experience it worked just as well as with the Pro ones. After trying it, I put a video out explaining that you could. HOWEVER, many other people commenting saying that the website specifically says it doesn't work that way. I read it on the site as well. Now, I am not saying LOOP is lying at all. What I am saying is it worked for me. I got the first model of Experience and Experience PRO. So, maybe they modified it since. I really am not sure. It works for me. I tested it multiple times. So, if you want to try it for yourself, I would love to see what you found. Does this help? -Michael
@@michaelmingoiamusic I choose the Experience in silver color. Been using eargasm for 4 years now, I'm looking forward to hear and feel how these will be.
Hi Gemma! Thank you for sharing your experience. I’m so very happy you love the PRO Experience. I’m hoping others will see your comment and find that it helps them. -Michael
I have auditory vertigo. Audio distortions (echo or feedback) trigger dizziness, anxiety, and eventually nausea. Sometimes, especially if it's a humming or hissing background noise, it just triggers me to suddenly start crying. I ordered the Quiet last week, and have been very satisfied! I have a lot of streaming meetings and if the participants had a poor connection, the audio would be unbearable for me! Now, I just pop in my Quiet earplugs, and it's all good! It filters the distortions but still allows me to hear everything I need to hear. Last night, our meeting conductor had a humming noise in the background, and within I few minutes, I was about to burst into tears! I put in my earplugs and the rest of the meeting was tolerable. I'm thinking I'll get a set of the Experience also. My only regret...I ordered off of Amazon instead of direct from Loop and only got the silicone tips, no foam tips. 😑
Hi! I’m so happy Loop Quiet has been working for you based on your auditory vertigo. That’s so great! I am sorry that when ordering off of Amazon they didn’t have both pairs of tips. How long ago did you order them? I don’t know why they wouldn’t come with both. Did you reach out to Amazon and let them know? If you’re not happy with it, they are usually good at fixing it. -Michael
So with the Quiet earplugs, could you still hear people enough to know if they’re talking to you, but they cancel out most background noise? I’m looking into these and I would really like to know this.
Thank you so much. I really appreciate that recognition. Did you decided if any of the Loop products were right for you? I’d love to know which ones and color you got. -Michael
I’m wondering what the best earplugs are for concerts that have good protection but don’t ruin the sound. How do these compare to Eargasm high fidelity plugs?
Great question! You really can't go wrong with either brand. If you don't want ppl to know you are wearing ear plugs than go with Eargasm. If you don't mind, I feel LOOP has a bit more to offer. If you are going to concerts, I would rock the LOOP EXPERIENCE PLUS b/c it comes with the mute option that you can put in and out easily. Does that answer your question? -Michael
Hi! Sound fidelity is the best I’ve ever heard and I’ve tried many earplugs. The frequency specs I’m sorry to say I don’t have any information on. -Michael
earlier today i just ordered a quiet, experience pro then the mute party pack which gives you different colours of mutes for the experience pro, so excited for them to arrive! got them in the black friday sale :)
I just ordered the pro... cuz well I just bought the "Flare Calmer" and i wanted them to work so bad but i'm not swoon by the experience... i hear everything, some sharp noises don't feel hurtful with them but i hear everything loud and clear still, and they pop out of my ears unless i shove them in deeper which makes my ears feel sore. I don't hear music often but ppl talking loudly and chewing is annoying to me, even from family, so i'm giving these a try since i still need to hear without goin full out on block out plugs... fingers crossed that these make me happily return my Flare Calmer plugs 🤞🏻
Hi Josumi. Thanks for your comment. You shouldn’t have any issues with putting the Loop in further. They will be pretty flush with your ear and they are comfy. I think you’ll find it great to have the mute option just in case you need it. Let me know what you think and how it all works out for you. -Michael

I guess maybe other people don't live with really loud snorers, or aren't as sensitive to noise as me (i'm autistic and have misophonia), but the loop earplugs don't even have comparable noise cancellation to even the cheapest of the cheap on amazon. Snoring specifically is usually at minimum around 40 db in sound, and a really loud snorer is going to be closer to 60 db. Even in another room I was constantly woken up. I think these noise cancelling plugs just got popular due to advertising over them being better than the other ones on the market. I think these are for people who want to be able to hear while also dampening noise. I think claming they are good for sleeping just isn't a true statement unless you aren't a super light sleeper, or sleeping kinda far away from the noise.
Thank you for your feedback and explaining your experience with LOOP when it comes to snoring. Do you own a pair of the Quiet yourself to try it out? Unlike the cheap plugs you’re talking about here, these are really comfortable. And yes, in my experience blocks out unwanted snoring noise. -Michael
Thanks Michael! Fellow musician here, enjoyed your video fabulously, started buying them on Amazon Prime, realized when I tried your discount code that I needed to go back to your video and follow your link which took me directly to the manufacturer's online store, which was a MUCH BETTER PRICE THAN AMAZON PRIME (shame on Amazon) and even better with your 10% discount code (which worked great!). My shopping experience reminded me of going into my local The Guitar Center (Sunset Boulevard West Hollywood, CA) with a musician buddy who convinced me to invest in a TC Helicon Voicelive Play GTX guitar and vocal effect box, which I've loved for hundreds of performances and have always felt centered in that initial good karma fellow musician's comradery initial purchase decision, ever since. I often play in senior living homes including memory care, where the most hideous piercing loud alarms go off while I'm getting my keyboard, speaker, computer, etc in and out of the door, and I think to myself everytime, "gee I need to get something to protect myself from that horrific sound".... and yes! now that Covid seems to be calming down I hope to be both giving and attending loud concerts with my new ear protection ready at hand. I'll remember you, Michael. I too share on RUclips and have never regretted the chance of paying that gift of music forward to whomever might discover and hopefully enjoy my music videos. Thanks bud! Hi there, great video. I have a question if you dont mind. I was looking at these for a phobia that I have. I can't bear the sound of cutlery on plates. The scraping noise is like nails on a chalk board and I avoid eating with people at all costs. I eat of plastic or wooden plates at home. I'd love to be able to go to a restaurant though. I hear this is great :-) I'd like to be able to still hold a conversation and block out the high frequency of the scraping sound. Do you think the pro ones would be the way to go? Maybe I wouldn't be great company with the quiet ones but I can't decide if it would be a better option. I'm not sure how much you can actually hear. I also have a very noisy neighbour and it would be great to drown her and her demon child out, but the cutlery thing for me is a big deal. What do you think?
Hi Carmen G. First, while I wouldn't consider mine a phobia, it does drive me wild when forks and knives scrape on a plate or off someone's teeth. I have a mild case of misophonia, which mean I get angry sometimes when someone is slurping there food loudly. It's strange, I know. I go from calm to angry so fast! If I were you, I would go with the Experience Pro instead of Quiet simply because you can take out the mute if you feel you want to let it more sound. They definitley help with demon kids (I have experience with that too lol) and I'm willing to bet it will give you a great shot at eating out again. I hope that helps. Please let me know how it works out for you. -Michael
@@michaelmingoiamusic Thank you for your reply. I've ordered them so will keep you posted. Mine is defo a full on phobia. I don't eat with other people for the reason that I explained there and it's awful. Even watching TV I have to mute it if people are eating and cookery shows are a complete no no. Going to someones house is a planned event incase it is breakfast, lunch or dinner time. The noise is unbearable. I'm talking hot sweats and passing out. Funny I can handle knives on teeth better than plates. Slurping is just unnecessary 😂 honestly it's just awful. Thanks Michael, very informative video.
@@tricordrazinejones8148 Hi, I only have them a few days. They came from Germany to Ireland so took a moment. I think these would be great for people will sensory problems for sure. My hearing is stupidly sensitive and these really do take the edge off. I can still hear my neighbours next door but the bangs and shouting are less severe. I bought them for my phobia of scraping the plates. This is a life long thing so I think it's something that I will need to work with bit by bit, but I think I'd be more happy going into a restaurant now. I'm not sure if I would be able to hear what people were saying to me with the 'buffer' (I forget what that part is called) As I said I only have them a few days though. The keyring case is too small though and not too sturdy. I put them on my keyring and it opened when I dropped my keys. I've ordered the night time ones too so they can't be terrible ;-) Do you have them or are you thinking of getting some?
@@michaelmingoiamusic I’ve used the experience before but lost them. 🤦♀️ So I bought quiet for sleeping in black. And the experience pro in silver & black. 👌 I use them to reduce sensory input.
Hey Michael, thanks so much for this video! It was really helpful. I watched this and your video on the Engage, and finally opted to pick up the Experience Pro for a concert in a few weeks. Hoping I made the right call. I made sure to use your affiliate link and code. Appreciate the information!
hi! i have airpod pros and ADHD, but i feel like noise cancelling or reducing from those can be too quiet sometimes (hence why im here), do you recommend getting LOOP if i already have airpods?? im mainly attracted to them bc they don't connect to laptop, phone etc so i wont be tempted to listen to music/watch youtube while using them (in theory)
Hi Tara. Thanks for joining the conversation. I do believe you answered your own question - or more like the response I was going to give you. I think listening to music is great (I do that all the time with earbuds/airpods). But, if you're putting your airpods in to focus (that's okay sometimes) but really just want to quiet down the environment that playing music is just controlling environmental noise with a different noise of your choosing. Having an earplug in, especially ones as comfortable as LOOP will lower all the loud noises in the environment around you, but still audible enough for you to hold conversations. I think it will be a great purchase for you. Did this answer your question? -Michael
Hi, I don’t have ADHD, but I’m commuting quite a lot on trains, etc., which can be somewhat overwhelming and/or exhausting because of the noise. I love to listen to music with my AirPods Pro, but after a long day, I prefer to disconnect from my environment. I bought the Loop experience after a friend recommended them, and they are great. The noise that comes through is similar to the noise that comes through the AirPods when noise canceling is off, so I believe the experience pro might be similar to noise cancellation on the AirPods. Maybe that helps :)
Hi I have Engage Plus. I was wondering since I got these to drown out talking so I can read should I have got Experience pro instead? I notice the Experience is 18db vs 16 db for engage. If I had the mute that gives the engage plus 21 db vs. Experience pro I would have got 23 db with the mute in. Tips or advice?
Hi Tracey. It’s a great question. Have you tried reading with the Engage Plus yet? They might be enough for you. If not, I would recommend the Loop Quiet. You see, the Engage is supposed to help with the noise but it’s more for interacting while protecting your hearing while the Quiet is meant to really block out a lot of unwanted noise so you can focus and not be having any kind of conversation. So, my advice if the Engage isn’t lowering the volume enough for you would be to get the Quiet. Does that help you? -Michael
Hey man, I'm a vocalist, doing rock/punk/metal vocals. I find I'm really sensitive to changes in frequency profile, and I've struggled to sing/scream properly even just while recording with really decent over-ear monitors. So I've avoided using hearing protection, but it's just not smart, and I know it. I've had tinnitus since I was a kid, it's constant, and I don't really need my hearing getting worse. I notice on your Earos review you had a lot of great things to say about those as a singer, but now you seem to be using the Loop plugs instead, and your review on them doesn't say much on how you feel about them as a vocalist or why you switched to them over the Earos for gigs/band stuff. Do you mind letting me know how they stack up? Do the Loops have that ear-popping effect when you open your jaw for wide vowels? Do they muffle your high notes, or can you still hear the overtones in your voice effectively enough to maintain good tone in your upper register stuff?
Hey Conrad. Great question. Thanks for giving me a backstory. Now, I can answer it better. I love Loop in general for many noise reducing environments. I use Earos specifically for when I sing and play bc I find it keeps the seal best when opening up wide to sing. Keep in mind I don’t have tinnitus but I find Earos best for singers who find the seal in the ear canal breaking often. It’s not 100% all the time effective against ear pop but, I don’t think 100% is possible. But it’s the best I’ve found. Does this answer your question? -Michael
Thank you for the review!!! I want to buy the Loop Quiet for sleep as my environment at home is quite loud at night. However, I still need hear my alarm go off in the mornings. Do you still suggest going with Loop Quiet?
I think you’ll be happy with Quiet if your home environment is loud. What I would do is once you get the Loop Quiet, set a backup alarm just in case. In my case I heard my alarm it’s just not as jarring when I wake up. I hope that helps. And you’re welcome for the review! -Michael
I work maintenance in a huge chicken nugget processing plant (dorada foods) and everywhere I go is loud af. I hope these can help because I'm tired of wearing ear muffs
Hi Chevy. I am so curious to the decibel level where you work. Which ones did you wind up buying? Please keep us informed on how you feel they held up at the processing plant. Thank you. -Michael
Im not a musician. I need earplugs that arent foam and can fit my freakishly small ear canals. I need something to dull noise especially fire works. Too much noise leads to panic attacks. Are the Loop Quiet suitable for side sleepers? Im terrified of something getting stuck in my ear canal.
Great video. I’m so glad you mentioned your wife works in a dental office, as I’m trying to decide between the Quiet and Engage Plus. I want to be able to hear my patients, but the Engage Plus has the lowest db reduction. Could she hear patient’s talking while wearing the Quiets?
Hi Aerikaj. I am so glad you like my video review. You would be able to hear your patients but I don't think you'd like how low they would sound. It may a bit too quiet. I recommend getting the Loop Experience Pro and if you still find it's too loud and you need to bring the environmental noise down even further, I would put the mute option in. Does that help you? -Michael
Hi im autistic, so im very sensitive to noise and im wondering would the pro work the best if you're out in public in a crowded place, in school or in a loud restaurount?
Hi Molly. I think you’ll find the PRO the best option for your situation. If it’s still too noisy for you, just put in the mute option and it will reduce it even further. I think you’ll be happy with the results. Hope that helps. -Michael
What happens when people talk to you at a club or concert while wearing them? I guess it's a lot of sign language and lip reading, right? I want to get some for travel and concerts, but I'm curious about that whole human interaction part.
Hey Omar. Believe it or not you get used to wearing LOOP real quick. I don’t find that I struggle hearing people speak with them in. Plus, if you use the experience or engage you can take the mute option out if you need to let more sound in. As a singer, I love their new Loop Engage product the best but I think for the club you should go with Loop Experience Plus. Does that help? If you wanted to check out the Engage Plus it’s here: ruclips.net/video/4dFed-mutqk/видео.html -Michael
@@michaelmingoiamusic yep. I didn't know what to expect but got the experience plus to give them a try. It's surprising how well i can hear most things and even have a normal conversation even after adding the quiet filter. All they do is kill "garbage noise" if such a thing exists, and i can focus a lot easier now. Thanks a lot!
Thank you so so much!! I see a lot of just one review or just the quiets and experience, but I was looking for the pro vs normal experience bc they seemed so similar but I wasn’t sure what the difference was and which would be better?!? So thank you!!!
Hi! It can be used at concerts but it depends on your seats. IMO, if you are close to the stage or speakers then it would be great. If you’re further from the stage/speakers it may be too quiet for you. Does this help? -Michael
I use loop quiet for sleep there amazing almost zero noise I did have to buy the foam earpieces/mutes in a bundle seperate but all together less than £20/$20 I also use them sometimes when listing to music through headphones for some extra noise isolation
You know, I remember Alpine putting out an earplug and was one of the first. However, I wasn't smart enough to protect my ears then. I actually never tried that brand so I can't give you a comparison, unfortunatley. Loop is a fantastic product though. I never leave home without them. -Michael
@@michaelmingoiamusic Thanks mate, I bought loops this week for my GF in silver colour and they look fantastic. In my opinion degree of noise reduction is similar to Alpines, sound is a little bit different but not worse. What is worse that in Loops I really hear my voice coming from my head. The big upside is comfort and how easy it is to get them out. In silver they look like additional earring which is super cool xD
I personally haven’t tried them at big venues. When I was first trying them out I did bring them to local bars and pubs to see what the difference was and the Quiet just seemed…well, too quiet. I think only in rare cases (standing next to a speaker) should you were them at concerts. I would go with LOOP Experience Pro/Plus for concerts. You hear things so much safer and clearer. Does that help? -Michael
Hi Mikko I understand. I don't think you can loose with either the PRO or the ENGAGE. I'm not sure if you know about the ENGAGE PLUS. It's a brand new product by LOOP . I did the video here: ruclips.net/video/4dFed-mutqk/видео.html I think overall you would be best suited for the PRO's. But, the ENGAGE PLUS would be best if you need to do a lot of speaking and interacting. Does this help? -Michael
So what if I have sensory overloads? Which one would be okay? I’m probably guessing the quiet, I live in an abusive home and they yell a LOT. Could you help me choose?
If you’re looking for maximum noise reduction, then Loop Quiet is my recommendation. I’m really sorry to hear you’re around a lot of yelling. I hope you can get to a safer environment ASAP. -Michael
Hi! I’m a parent of a very verbal toddler lol but I also work from home so I want to be able to focus on my work without being distracted by my kiddo. The loop quiet sounds great but I also want to be able to still hear in case the toddler needs help ya know haha. Would the pro be a better choice for me? This is the first time watching you and this video was very insightful. I love your personality! Thank you!!
Hi AlveedaYum! I’m so glad you liked my video. I also respect your situation at home very much. Your thoughts are aligned with mine. I think you may want to use the Pro bc you can try it with and without the mute option. With it in, it will be like the Loop Quiet. And unlike the Quiet, with the Pro you can take the mute out and hear more than with the mute in. Let me know what color you decide on and how it all works out for you. :-) -Michael
Ended up buying the Experience Pro and the Quiet. I use the Quiet every night and they are game changing. So comfortable. Love them. Experimenting with other use cases for the Experience Pro. Thanks again for your review.
Hi thanks for the video, I wanted to ask you for some advice, I was going to take the loops to use them on the racing bike because of the wind that bothers my eardrums especially when I do the descents ... which of the 3 loops could you recommend? is it worth it to take the wind loops or better the moldable silicone plugs? Thanks
Hi Sfasscio! I’m glad you like my video. For your purposes, I would recommend the loop experience. I think that would be a good fit for you. As far as silicone or foam, that is a personal preference. I like foam but silicone is great too. However, if you have the budget, getting the loop experience pro is a great idea too. This way you have the option to put the mute in to get things even more quiet. Does that help? -Michael
@@michaelmingoiamusic Thank you so much for the answer ... you say that my eardrums will be able to stop the wind from letting it in? If you say they are really effective I'll try to take them ..... have you tried using quiet loops on the jeep? difference with the experiences on the jeep? a curiosity, but they are not suitable for diving in water right? @@sfasscio Well, I can only speak from experience and I am not a medical professional. However, my opinion would be to definitely not use the ear plugs while swimming. I'm not exactly sure if you should use any earplug while you have Otitis. Is it something that is temporary for you? If you do decide to get a pair, I think you'll notice a great difference in the wind. I do not use the Loop Quiet while driving my Jeep because it's too quiet. I need to hear some sounds of the road. Hi there. I am going to a concert in an open stadium next month. I’ve been considering the experience pro due to what people online are saying and how much they liked their experience with them. I am slightly deaf in one ear and do you recommend the experience pro?
I am planning to use the Mute 5 DSP from my Experience Pro on the regular Experience loop. Can the Mute be used on both? I lost my Experience Pro pair and I'm looking for a more cost-effective solution, so I'm thinking of buying the regular Experience ones and using the Mute ring that I still have. Will this work?
Hi Natal. I have an answer for you but need to know a bit more about what you’re be using the ear plug for- more for studying and just overall quite or are you a musician that is looking to protect your hearing? -Michael
@@michaelmingoiamusic Well, I'm a student musician so I'm looking for a pair of earplugs that will help with both! @@natalgratea2365 hi again! Thank you for explaining. Well, based on your situation, I would definitely choose the Loop Experience Pro. It has the mute option which, if you use, it will drop the volume even further around you. I also, learned very recently, that you can use the mute option from the Pro and use it on the Loop Quiet. The Quiet is already at - 27 decibels (which is what the PRO is with the mute option in). But if you have the Loop Quiet, and the Loop Experience Pro, you can use the mute option on the Quiet, dripping the decibels down to about -32 decibels! I’m not sure what kind of budget you have. If you can, I would get both. If you can only get one, I would say the Loop Experience Pro is best for your band setting. Does this help? -Michael?

I really want Loop Quiet earplugs but I’m not sure if I could hear people well enough in them. I’d be wearing them where conversation really isn’t necessary and doesn’t happen often, but I’d like to know if I could hear people enough in the case that I need to. Does anyone know?
Hi Ayoooooooo, You can hear people and noises while using them but they are a lot quieter. It’s not great for conversations at all. But if someone needed to get your attention they definitely could and you’d hear it. I hope that helps. -Michael
Hi pal, thanks so much for this it's great. I would like to know, though, the differences and similarities; in my case, I'm wondering whether to get the experience, experience plus and pro: whether they work as well as the sleep when used in that scenario etc, as I can't afford more than one. Moreover if I may, as I understand it, each version on the site at the time I looked had options of either hard or soft case; the experience also comes in three varieties aforementioned. I'm wondering about pro just for comfort, namely when sleeping. I suspect I may have these in the majority of the time as an autistic. Thanks :)
hey there. So, if I am understanding you, you want to know if the Experience is as good as the Quiet for sleep? The Quiet is definitely the best for sleep and cheaper than the Experience. But, if you are asking if you should buy the Experience and use it during the day and is it good enough to use at night - well, you could do that. I guess I would ask you, if you're on a budget, what would be the one thing you would need it more for during the day or during the night? -Michael

Hy I have tinnitus in right ear but I want to go to concerts, clubs, cinemas and other events without the fear of ear so which one would you recommend - quite or pro ? It would be great help ☺️
Hi xoorav. If I were you, I’d go with pro. This way you can take the mute option out if you are okay with letting a little more volume in. Hope that helps. -Michael
Hi, i had been using the Experience Pro with Mute for a few months, I just need to block more sound, do you thing the Quiet will be the same as the Experience Pro+Mute ?? Your answer will be very very helpful, thanks
Hi Jonathan. I had some subscribers ask me this very question so I researched and tried it. Good news, you can put the mute from the PRO into the Quiet making the decibels even lower. When you put the mute in Quiet, you’ll go from -27db to -32db. It’s real quiet with that! If you have the Quiet already, try it. If not, feel free to use my link and discount code. Does that answer your question? -Michael
@@michaelmingoiamusic hi, thanks for the tip, but the original question was if the Experience Pro + Mute are the same as the Quiet?? I already have the experience pro and use them with the mute, but need to know if the Quiet will be lower decibels alone?
@@gomezacta I’m so sorry I misread your original question. Yes. The loop experience pro plus the mute is -27 dB which is the same as the loop quiet. You can get an additional -5db if you need it by putting the mute on the Quiet = -32db. But again, Loop Quiet plus Mute = Loop Quiet without mute. Did that answer your question? -Michael
@@michaelmingoiamusic yes it does, but since the loop quiet doesn’t have any opening on the ring I don’t know how the ring will decrease decibels, but since you claim it by personal experience that will do
@@gomezacta if you don’t have an opening to Loop Quiet it may be a different version that I didn’t know about. Would you be able to send me a photo? You can message me on Instagram or Facebook if it’s easier. It’s the same handle. Just look for the logo.
i wonder if i use the loop experience quiet i can have a good conversation or i would not hear so much to the other people,? if someone can anwers please
Hi @Angel. To block out noise and still have a conversation, I’d go with the Experience Pro and not use the mute option. You’ll be able to lower the volume of your environment yet still have a conversation. Does that help you? -Michael
Hi Ashley. That is a great question. While the Loop Experience Pro comes with different silicon and foam tips that fit a bit differently, I don't think that you'd find that they fit correctly for a 4 year old. I may be wrong though. I checked for you and Loop doesn't do cash refunds but they do exchanges if they don't fit right. So, one option may be to contact them to see what they suggest. Another option may be to purchase the Loop Experience Pro and if doesn't fit your daughter you or another family member may love them if you are around a loud environment or are concert goers. If you do pick up a pair, please let us know how they fit your daughter and what wound up happening. That would be really helpful. I hope this helped you! -Michael
Hi Julia. If it's in your budget I would go with the Loop Experience Pro only bc you have the mute option in case you need extra protection. The Loop Experience doesn't have the mute option but it may be enough. So, if that is more in the budget for you then I think you'll find it's still a great choice. Your friends sitting next to you might wanna watch this video as well to protect their ears. Feel free to share :-) Let us know what you decide and what color. -Michael
Hi @mrazqhora. I’m not sure if you’re in residential construction, street construction or something else, but a lot of times you need the actual ear phones that strap on over the top of your head. If you know it’s not as serious as that, then the Loop Quiet might be good for you. Let me ask you this- are you having a lot of dialogue while you work? Michael
Does bringing the volume down for the band will help without wearing these? I thought it be the same if you minus the exact decibels. What is your thought?
Hello. Thank you for your question. If you have a drummer in the band, than typically no you won’t be able to lower down enough to protect your ears at band rehearsal. And then when you’re playing live in front of a crowd you’ll need to play at a volume that can damage your hearing. So my advice from one musician to another is to protect your hearing as much as you can. -Michael
@@michaelmingoiamusic By the way I always wonder, how those successful bands survive actively playing and touring concert, endless practice in studio can without earplug throughout their lives.
Question. As a drummer would you recommend the experience pro with the mutes or the quiet model? Just wondering since I really need to reduce the sound by quite a bit, but I don't want to sacrifice good sound quality. Thx!
Hi Jason. Great question. You’re in good company as I am a drummer/singer myself. You probably wouldn’t want to use Quite because it blocks out a lot of sound. I use the Experience Pro, which has the mute option. Every drummer has their own preference with how much sound they want to let in/out. So, by you getting the PRO, you have the option of using the mute or not (like I show at the beginning of this video). I hope that helps. Let me know what color you get and how you like them once you get them. -Michael
@@michaelmingoiamusic So I ended up getting the experience pro as you suggested. So far they sound amazing. Much clearer than others I've tried including the eargasms. The mutes make it sound even better and more crisp in my opinion. Got the silver with the black mutes and I think they look pretty cool too! Thanks for the great videos and advice man! Best wishes. :)
Hi Abigail. Out of the 3 in this video, my answer to you would be Loop Experience. Since I made this video, I have a better suggestion from the same brand: Loop Engage Plus. I'm thinking about getting these for my motorcycle, my helmet has vents that have a loud whistle and with normal foam ear plugs i can barely hear my music. Any riders out there have any insight if this is for me?
Hey Brett. I don't ride a bike so, I can't speak from personal experience. However, if you head over to LOOP on instagram they have a lot of LOOP wearers on motorcycles. From what I see there, they say they work great and don't get in the way of the helmet at all. I hope that helps. -Michael
How are these in terms of speaking while wearing them? E.g. do they amplify internal noise? I'm noise sensitive, and I've tried some earplugs from Surefire... unfortunately, they amplify my voice inside my head. So when it sounds like I am shouting, to me, the person I'm talking to can barely hear what I'm saying. Was wondering if this is an issue with the Loop earplugs as well.
Great question! From my experience, all of the earplugs on some level do this. It’s just the nature of blocking out some sound. However, some are def worse than others. So while, you’re still gonna get that internal head noise with Loop, i find them to be much more tolerable and they are really comfortable so I forget they are in my ears. I also find myself adjusting rather quickly to how loud/low I’m talking. I hope that helps you with your decision if these are a good “fit” for you. Thanks for watching! -Michael
You can't escape that sadly, whenever you are plugging your ears you create some kind of cabin pressure, where you notice the vibration of your voice on your skull more causing you to hear a type of echo, it's always there even when your ears aren't plugged but you already adjusted to it with age
Hi Annie. Yes you can. That's smart of you to realize. I had other subscribers ask me that too and I thought it was brilliant! I did a whole video on FAQ and your question was listed there. If you'd like to see that video, click here: ruclips.net/video/6WffjYx_dZw/видео.html I hope this helps. -Michael
Thanks great explanation. Got mine black loop Experience Pro for use on motocycle 👍 hope they are good and can hear my music better and not have to have it loud to hear it 🤞 cheers
What would you suggest for someone who works with dogs who bark a lot? I need to be able to hear my coworkers talking and any growling but want to block out loud sharp barking. Thanks!
Hi Alexa. Thanks for your question. Based on what you’re describing as your work environment I would suggest the Loop Experience Pro. If you get the Loop Quiet, I think you’d be okay too but it may be a bit too quiet when you’re trying to hear your coworkers. Quiet kinda puts you in your own bubble more as it blocks out more sound. With Experience Pro, you have the option of not using the mute option so you can have better conversations and you can put the mute in if it’s getting really loud. As you can see in the video it’s a pretty fast transition. I hope that helps you make a better purchasing decision for you. Let me know what you decide and what color you may get. Be well!

I've just ordered the experience pro ones after watching your video! I'm very noise sensitive so I wasn't sure the regular 'experience' would be enough, but I didn't want the quiet either because I want to have conversations with people without it being too muffled or having to take them off.
There are days where I can cope but others where my sensitivity is more intense like today, where even the TV or music just hurts my ears and I can get a bit irritated and stressed after a while. Let's hope they help! They ship from Belgium and I'm in France so it shouldn't be long!

Please let us know how they work out for you once they arrive. Greetings from New York!

Update yet?

I hear this is great :-)
I'd like to be able to still hold a conversation and block out the high frequency of the scraping sound.

I'm not sure if I would be able to hear what people were saying to me with the 'buffer' (I forget what that part is called)
As I said I only have them a few days though. The keyring case is too small though and not too sturdy. I put them on my keyring and it opened when I dropped my keys.

hi! i have airpod pros and ADHD, but i feel like noise cancelling or reducing from those can be too quiet sometimes (hence why im here), do you recommend getting LOOP if i already have airpods?? im mainly attracted to them bc they don't connect to laptop, phone etc so i wont be tempted to listen to music/watch youtube while using them (in theory)
-Michael
Hi,
I don’t have ADHD, but I’m commuting quite a lot on trains, etc., which can be somewhat overwhelming and/or exhausting because of the noise.

-Michael
That helps a lot. Thank you
@@traceypastoralcounselor8795 you’re welcome! My pleasure!
Came across Loop Experience and Experience Plus. Can't see the "Pro" anywhere.

I was always wondering how they compare to ones from other companies like Alpine which offered those way before this was a some kind of fashion.
You know, I remember Alpine putting out an earplug and was one of the first. However, I wasn't smart enough to protect my ears then. I actually never tried that brand so I can't give you a comparison, unfortunatley. Loop is a fantastic product though. I never leave home without them.

I was wondering if you have tried using loop quiet at concerts?
I personally haven’t tried them at big venues. When I was first trying them out I did bring them to local bars and pubs to see what the difference was and the Quiet just seemed…well, too quiet. I'd love for perfect silence to survive finals but I'm sure that request is near impossible, haha
@@natalgratea2365 hi again! Thank you for explaining. Well, based on your situation, I would definitely choose the Loop Experience Pro. The Quiet is already at - 27 decibels (which is what the PRO is with the mute option in). Hi Ashley. That is a great question. Another option may be to purchase the Loop Experience Pro and if doesn't fit your daughter you or another family member may love them if you are around a loud environment or are concert goers.

The Loop Experience doesn't have the mute option but it may be enough. So, if that is more in the budget for you then I think you'll find it's still a great choice.
Your friends sitting next to you might wanna watch this video as well to protect their ears. Feel free to share :-)
Let us know what you decide and what color.

Are those good for construction work noise..
Ty for your recommendation. I bought some. Sometimes movies play the sound too loud. 🥺
Hi! I am glad my video review helped you. Please let us know what you think about them when get to try them.

-Michael
@@michaelmingoiamusic thx man. That's what I'll get!🙂
@@michaelmingoiamusic So I ended up getting the experience pro as you suggested. So far they sound amazing. Much clearer than others I've tried including the eargasms. The mutes make it sound even better and more crisp in my opinion. Got the silver with the black mutes and I think they look pretty cool too! Thanks for the great videos and advice man! Best wishes. :)
@@jasonmunday9056 thanks for the update! That’s a cool color combo! Enjoy showing them off. I’m very glad they are working out well for ya!

Which one would be best for wanting to still have conversations but blocking out background noise?
Hi Abigail. Out of the 3 in this video, my answer to you would be Loop Experience. Since I made this video, I have a better suggestion from the same brand: Loop Engage Plus. I did a whole review just on that product b/c it's brand new and it's my new favorite. Here is that video if you're interested: ruclips.net/video/4dFed-mutqk/видео.html

Great video
Thanks so much And F.

Do the loop experience pros second ring change it to a muffled sound? I’m in drumline, and don’t particularly want it muffled
Hi Otis. Hey great question! No. The extra mute option won’t muffle the sound but rather bring the volume down even further and you can still hear all the other instruments very well.
-Michael
Your promo code isn’t working for me! I’m in the US.
Hi Erica.
Thank you for letting me know. I just tried it and it appears there is some glitch with the system. I apologize. I emailed Loop and I am waiting a response.
Not, that you’re concerned with this, but its not about the affiliate sale for me. If you need these asap and can’t wait AND can afford to buy it without waiting for the discount to work again please do. I say this because I wont get the commission but it’s not about that for me. I just love this product so much and I wanted to let others no how awesome they are.
Once I get word that the code is working again I’ll let you know. So sorry for the inconvenience.
-Michael
Hi Erica. Sorry for the delay. They fixed my promo code. If you are still interested here is the active discount code: LOOPXMICHAELMINGOIA
Let me know if that helps.

@@michaelmingoiamusicHey Michael! I was gifted a pair of Loop Experience a while ago. I love them, but now that Loop has come out with the 3-in-1 switch, I want to get myself a pair of those (it would have solved this comparison dilemma!) and I remembered your video. I tried your promo code and it’s not working again. Are you still an affiliate?
@@EricaSantos-hz4lv hi Erica. Yes. I am still an affiliate. I’m sorry it’s not working. I’ll reach out to LOOP and see if I can find the issue. Sorry for the inconvenience.

@@michaelmingoiamusic Any positive updates?
hi! I was wondering, in the experience pro, the mute thing, the one you pop in, does it come in black and white? I mean, you've got both colors in the box? or did you have to choose one of them? because I was trying to buy them from the official site and I don't see the option, just thr color of the loop itself
thanks from Argentina!
Greetings from New York! Thanks for your question. When I ordered my Experience Pro I was able to choose white as an option. I wanted to do it to contrast the black.
Here is an update for you. I just released a new review on their latest product called, Loop Engage Plus and it comes with 2 pairs of mute (white and black).

@@michaelmingoiamusic thanks!
@@jussydesiree my pleasure!
Hi, can you combine Loop Quiet and Mute to achieve 32dB sound reduction?
Hi! I have a lot of questions this week about that. I’ll check it out and let you know.
-Michael
Hi Goran. You are correct!! I actually didn’t think it would work. It’s super quiet when you add the mute. So if you got both the Quiet and the Experience Pro, you can interchange the mute option. I hope that helps.
-Michael!
@@michaelmingoiamusic Thank you Michael, and thank you for this freaking awesome video. I've ordered the Experience Pro, Quiet and the Mute soon after I had finished watching.
@@warhawksuper I’m so glad you love my video and you were able to make an informed decision before purchasing. Now you have all 3 like me. And thanks to your great question, my wife will be using the mute option on the Quiet. She loved it when super quiet!

How to guage the size of plugs to put in my ears?
Can the mute thingy, also in the loop quiet?
Hi! Great question. No. The Loop Quiet doesn’t have a spot for the mute option.
-Michael
@@michaelmingoiamusic thx Michael for that fast respons. I just bought both of then because I needed it to see it for my self.
@@troytube8005 you’re very welcome. What colors did you get? Did the discount code work out for you?
I apologize if i missed this in the video, but, would you reccomend the Experience Pros for sleep? I want to use them for band practice as well but don't want to buy 2 different pairs.
Hi Adam. I personally haven’t used my experience pro to sleep but, I know people that use them with the mute option in. It makes total sense in my mind what you’re trying to do while keeping only one product. I think it’s worth a try. Does this help?
-Michael
-Michael
I tried surefire and found them very uncomfortable
You can't escape that sadly, whenever you are plugging your ears you create some kind of cabin pressure, where you notice the vibration of your voice on your skull more causing you to hear a type of echo, it's always there even when your ears aren't plugged but you already adjusted to it with age
you can put the mutes into the regular experience though, right?
Hi Annie. Yes you can. That's smart of you to realize. I had other subscribers ask me that too and I thought it was brilliant! I did a whole video on FAQ and your question was listed there. If you'd like to see that video, click here: ruclips.net/video/6WffjYx_dZw/видео.html

Thanks great explanation. Got mine black loop Experience Pro for use on motocycle 👍 hope they are good and can hear my music better and not have to have it loud to hear it 🤞 cheers
I love it! Thanks for the feedback. I think you’ll enjoy them! Thanks for the update.
-Michael
Be well!
