Thank you the stroll down memory lane, ichiban.
Thanks for that Adam. I am headed to Japan straight after the WIA Conf. In Bundaberg and will definitely be in those shops!! Cheers Tim VK5ZT
Worth the visit, Tim. Don't forget to take your passport with you on the day for the Tax tourist refund scheme.
Didn't stumble across an IC905 in your travels. Wondering about the price difference to here...@@VK4GHZ
OK, so now I know where I will be going if I ever visit Japan!
AWESOME!! Looks like a NYC camera store in the 90's
thank you
Oh man, so jealous! I want to hit up the Tokyo Ham Fest as well!
Wow, this bought back a lot of memories as I used to live their, Tokyo, near to Mitaka = 3x Eagles.
Geez Adam, that ham radio toyshop is out of this world!
Thanks for showing, 73
Hi,good interesting video, I was surprised how few customers were in the Rocket Amateur radio shop, here in the Netherlands 🇳🇱, the Icom and Yeasu are on permanent cash back,,maybe sign of the time's,,,thanks and 73s from Rotterdam 👍
I wish we had radio shops like that where i live in Michigan, USA, all our good radio shops closed up.
We need a DC engineering or a HRO in Michigan.
Dx engineering tha is! Darn auto correct!
I’m looking to purchase the 710, wondered how the AESS feature toggled on other speakers. I’ve got an old set of Logitech z5500 speakers collecting dust and want to put to good use. Do you turn off the internal speaker ?
Man. That might beat HRO. For the transceivers though, the only difference I've seen between the JA and US spec HF rigs is my 891 didn't come with 60m. I MARS modded it and manually input the memories, so probably no worries there. The 2m/70cm HTs for sure are nearly unusable. I have a JA spec FT1 and it won't go over 146 or 440, even with the mod.
Could I get in trouble in there. 73s
its done like JBHIFI
