I, too was an arrogant, rebellious, self-entitled kid who was sure that I knew *far* more than those who had *DECADES* of experience behind them. ...and I, too, ended up wrecking stuff and looking like a fool because I refused to accept my limitations and learn enough from the experts to be able to experiment with valid confidence. Mind you, unlike *this* little fool, I lacked experts with endless patience who would oversee my idiotic experiments. The Dunning-Kruger Effect is strong in us.
I doesn't think the tree kid refused the help - it just wanted to do something DIFFERENT, something NEW. Not accepting the reasons, why should an apple tree producing only apples, because it's imagination run such wider spectrum, than it's abilities... It wanted to experiment to see the border of it's own possibilities. By my opinion, that's not exactly the same, even if some parts of actions and consequences are. (But you are free to debate, if you disagree, or think, that i dismissed some important part.)
Possibly with the right amount of faith, will, wisdom and innocence you can have more variety of success than one. As the saying goes "Jack of all and master of none is better than the master of one".

They are called “Fruit Cocktail” trees, grafted with multiple fruits in the Okanagan, BC.

Hello, we mostly used Maya, some textures were made in Substance Painter and Photoshop, and we used Nuke a little for compositing
