    This is so awesome! My son and I drive by this runway often! I'm gonna get my license so I can take him flying. Our goal is to land at this airport 😂

    Thanks for the enjoyable flight! I've always wanted to try Aeronautical Mobile back when I was flying low and slow in my old C-120. Looks like a lot of fun! Tell me, were you calling CQ on 146.52 Mhz Simplex or on a repeater? Either way, great response from the local hams. I stopped off at the KTIW airport diner last March when I came thru from my QTH in the DFW area. A very nice diner as I recall. Thanks and 73 de K5CMO.

      Hello there and glad you enjoyed the flight! I was calling on 142.520 simplex. There’s a fair amount of ham operators that include that in their scan. I’ve made around 2000 contacts from the airplane with about 300 of them being new contacts.
