God this is good. Been a long time since I sat through an entire Credits Sequence but the end of the game didn't hit me before this track started playing. It felt so goddamn complete!
Crazy part: 1:07 is the same leitmotif from Dragon’s Dogma Online’s theme. 1:32 is my favorite part. I SO wish we got this as a boss theme. But 2:37 is really where the theme gets me.
Obviously spoilers We warned IF the pathfinder is really the guardian dragon of the world trying to not let it die in absence of the Great Will then the White Dragon of Online starts making sense (One Guardian Dragon per World/Universe) AND if we take note of the rivage elder last shot we can theorize that the brine is no more, so the world actually stopped being a simulation and finally became a REAL LIVING ONE with OUR will Also some locked ruins with ancient markings on their door frames actually hide a "rift marked" door. And let's not forget the island we can see in the distance across the sea. Please itsuno we need the expansion, I NEED more answers
@@oneSayan Mechanically, DD2 borrows a lot (and then dumbs it down) from DDO. Weapon skill consolidation, vocation action, 4-skills, “job masters”. Until further details, it’s still a stretch (or just Itsuno ripping of Kinoshita/rest of the team). I noticed the Pathfinder was able to take control/manifest as a Dragon. So it’s possible that Dragon’s Dogma 2 provides a(n unlikely) bridge for Dragon’s Dogma Online. DDO could be a world freed from the Great Will, unchronicled by it, but the Watching Ones became dragons to forestall the power of the Brine/oblivion. The Purgeners are just red-colored versions of the corrupted/infected enemies from Bloodbane Isle/Season 2. Since it was caused by the Black Dragon, it’s possible the Black Dragon uses the power of Brine/Oblivion for its own purpose whereas the other Dragons swore not to. But again, I still think DD2 was just ripping-off DDO, not trying to connect to it.
The game definitely needs to be fixed and some aspects of it are incomplete or underwhelming. But damn if this wasn't one of the best games I'be played in a long time. Capcom sabotaged the hell out of this title by releasing it in such a poor state. Itsuno and his team deserved better. WE deserved better.
it's so sad that capcom gave the game a shit budget is the game fun? yes it is but the story is again a fucking mess like the first game alot of cut content
The amount of polish and fleshing out the game could use is amazing but, even so, I've adored every minute of the over 300-hours I've put into the game. And I'm still not done yet ;D I was floored when I, very recently, unlocked the second title screen on advancing towards the true ending.
Polish? Fleshing out? This has been the most polished game I have played in recent memory. Save for the Performance issues. The amount of detail put into everything (And I don't mean graphics... though yes those are nice as well) And it is as fleshed out as it should be. People complaining the story or whatever is missing whole plot points don't really understand what the goal is here. While sure they could work on putting more detail and attention into every segment of the game that would probably for the most part only remove mystery that the game is trying to incentivize. Thing is...., Your goal is to kill the Dragon, Everything you do is to get to that goal. Only to find out as that all happens (And perhaps thanks to Pheasus) right before it all. Is that fighting and defeating the Dragon would only prolong the events and make them start anew. And that is why The Arisen chooses to do what they do. Pheasus 'suddenly' becoming a good guy completely misses the mark on the whole situation. Pheasus just like The Red Dragon was never inherently evil. All he wanted was to dispel the Dogma Of Dragon's. Our Arisen essentially wants the same this time around and finds their own way to do so. I am dead set on the matter that the story will continue in the Expansion as there are plot points (Especially the ones from Pheasus during the Events of the Unmoored World) go unresolved. The points people claim go unresolved mostly do get resolved maybe save for Sven being Regent King for now. But really wether or not he sits on the throne for the time being really doesn't matter as he is our Ally. What I am interested in is Pheasus what he would want to do with the Chalice the Arisen breaks and how he means to oppose the Dogma Of Dragon's.... Cus plot twist I hardly doubt DD2 will actually break the cycle 'completely' Everything indicates that there are bigger events to unfold post Unmoored World. For starters the earth quake that would not only explain the many past civilisations you can see ruins from in DD2. It would Explain why the remains of Gransys are beneath the surface of the sea. It would explain why the landscape has changed so drastically. It would explain why in Dragon's Dogma Online just like in DD1 there are entire plots of land just gone and nothing but steep cliffs remain. The Red Dragon mentions how 'The very earth will start to crumble beneath our feet' if we are to proceed beyond the Unmoored World. Shits about to get real is all I am saying and I don't think the western audience is quite ready for the crazy that will unfold in the Expansion. I would be MEGA surprised if they where to pull a Dark Arisen and just add content for the base game with no events beyond it.
From someone that played through the entirety of the first game, playing this game was such a new feeling yet nostalgic, I loved every second of it, I would gladly wait another 12 years for a third game 🗣️🔥🔥
This is now the MAIN THEME, indisputably. The official soundtrack has deemed it so! The title-themes are just called title-themes and are hereby disqualified for the position! HAIL THE MAIN THEME!
And you know why this is ;), (I am almost starting to believe CAPCOM is eyeing my content as a way to pathe their own path forward) For 1 this is the Theme from the Main Trailer, In the Main Trailer midway through at 1:05 it plays the melody of the Main Theme from Dragon's Dogma Online: ruclips.net/video/3p-uLt_9eRM/видео.html People still think I am smoking but I am going to keep yelling as if I am The Rivage Elder until I am heard. Dragon's Dogma 2 is the Prequel to Dragon's Dogma Online "The truth is in the pudding!"
I thought it was pretty good, The lack of a real 'final' boss was kind of a let down though. Would had prefered to just fight that big Dragon rather then just a cinematic. Still pretty good though.
not gonna lie I really had hoped in honor of the resurrection and continuation of this fantastic series we would get another High octane Hit Title by the B'z like "Into Free Dangan" I loved that Japanese anime title opening from the original. whenever I had trouble on a boss or had to go to sleep that song would come on and always made me say "...one more try won't hurt."
There isn't not just yet anyway. ------------------------------------------------------ It has been dubbed the Main Theme as per the Official Soundtrack released on the 21st of Nov 2024. Of course I had already called the video that since it was... at least to me... painstakingly obvious that it is the Main Theme. The Expansion will likely use this Theme a lot more.
Our pawn is the true MVP.
I literally cried during the high affinity scene with the pawn. Was my first run there 🥲
This cutscene hits so f hard. Our pawns are heroes as well as we are.
Praise be, For only the Pawns Guidance can lead us true!
God this is good. Been a long time since I sat through an entire Credits Sequence but the end of the game didn't hit me before this track started playing. It felt so goddamn complete!
When your pawn is imbued with a will of their own.
1:31 was the reason why I kept listening to this song. I was just in tears.
For me it’s that climax at 2:35
At last someone uploaded the best music of the game! Many thanks!
Ah I see you are a man of culture as well.
@@ZappierothI watched the main trailer many times Just to listen this masterpiece
1:32 the best part
agree, as soon as credits endet i was instant searching for this^^
The DD2 leitmotif goes so hard in that bit.
Yeah it really got me, made me want to cry seeing this games missed potential. Ugh.
And then it kicks off EVEN HARDER at 2:37!
i'll cry everytime i listen to this song😭🗣🔥🔥🔥
Knowing you won't ever be able to experience the game for the first time again... yep.
@@Zappieroth ...yep let's looking forward for the dlc eh
I cried at the end of the game bro😭
My pawn instantly became my favorite npc after that scene 😢
This theme goes hard AF. Still waiting for the OST to come out on Spotify.
Loved this game SO MUCH. It deserves a lot!

There is one in particular that you''ll appreciate, It is very short.
@@Zappieroth I have not. Is there a particular video?
Obviously spoilers
We warned

>DDO theme
So I'm not crazy for making connections between both of them, with the Guardians Dragons being the protectors of their own worlds

The level of epicenes in that track really makes you forget how blatantly unfinished the game is, godamn.

the true end credits song is much better than this...at least IMO
